The Temple of Time was a sanctuary and place of worship for many Hylians. It held the Door of Time which lead to the only known entrance to the Sacred Realm. It was destroyed during the Gerudo Hylian War by Ganondorf and his Gerudo Army, though it still is the resting place of the Triforce, and the door is still intact. Due to the ability to access the Sacred Realm, there are Sheikah who are given the duty to protect these ruins.
