Artemis gulped for a moment, not fully realizing what he had just done. Had he truly attempted to lure the poor girl? Well--Lure was a poor choice of words. His cheeks reddened for a moment as he looked away, trying to think more carefully on what to say next. He could always invite her to his cabins, but that may had been a bit too obvious to the outside.
Where could they go to sit in private?
"The Fairy Glade," he said quickly. "We have an outpost station there that we haven't used in some time since we haven't had any attacks." It was a perfect spot to get away from their responsibilities for a bit. What is wrong with you? Your sister is in a coma, and the other one is dead. You need to get back to work!
He huffed, closing his eyes. He didn't remember the last time he took a break. "I really shouldn't be doing this... there's a lot at stake now more than ever..." he turned back to the table, thinking hard on whether the plans could wait until morning.
"...Fuck it." he got up, pulling Annora with him as he brushed passed her. "I already sent the others away. It can wait."
He led her past the guards as discreetly as possible as they vanished from sight to the camp. A small path led them into a thicket which slowly glimmered the further they went with bio-luminescence. Fireflies, flowers, and fairies shown their way through the grove as they made their way into the trees. A tree house, one that was clearly built by the Kokiri in its architecture stood up with a single lantern glimmering over the woods. He led her to the ladder, before stepping up into the small wooden cabin.
There was a single bed, a table with chairs, along with some weapons situated in the corner. "I would come here and patrol on my own when I needed to think," he said quietly before taking a seat at the table. Along it was a map of the surrounding forest, with flags marking other posts and the camp.

Despite having asked her to accompany him, Artemis seemed rather nervous. She almost believed that he would instead back out on his offer, and her face grew solemn. Her smile faded, and brow perked up in confusion as she listened to him battle with himself. One thing was clear, his desire was strong, --but morals.
"We don't ha--" she started before his sudden declaration stopped her. Pulling on her hand, she blinked before following suit, abstaining from saying another word as they walked out of the camp. From there, they went into the Fairy Woods, which sparkled with flora and fauna, accompanied with flickering fairy's that dazzled in the foliage. It was a sight she had not ever seen before, regardless of living closer to Lynna City.
Encompassed with light from a hanging lantern, the two of them came across an interesting styled treehouse. It was something akin to a fantasy fort in books and stories she used to read. Her face lit up in excitement, finding the appearance of the quaint structure to be enticing to her lust for adventure. After climbing the ladder, she hoisted herself through the port entry and scanned the immediate area. It was more minimalist than the outside appearance, but she was not disappointing in any fashion.
Brushing any stray grass from her dress walked around the room, her pacing kicking up a bit of dust from the wooden flooring. "This is a perfect spot to get away from everyone. It's quiet, and yet you can still hear the sounds of the woods surrounding us."
Biting her lip, she stepped closer to the prince who sat at the table. Stopping just a foot shy, she gently placed her hand on his arm, nervous about how exactly to talk to him. "I will not presume to know anything about the strife and troubles you are facing, nor will I say that I understand how you feel... but I do not think you should be alone right now," she said softly, her voice filling the immediate area between them.
The prince closed his eyes for only a second before feeling the warmth of Annora's hand on his arm. Looking over slowly, he listened to her words which sent a spiral of strange emotions through his body. His face felt warm, his stomach tight, and the hairs at the edge of his skin stuck up as though he would shiver from the cold.
Not to be alone... that was truly something that he didn't really know. He always placed himself against others, even if they were close to him. Becoming too familiar meant putting them in danger, and although he would confide in Zelda, whom was really the only person he could speak to about his troubles, she was away - stuck in the limbo of sleep and who knew when she'd awaken--if she'd awaken.
And if she didn't awaken... that would leave him in charge. He'd have to take her place in this battle, and figure out how to properly bring the kingdom back into its original balance without the sealing magic Zelda worked so hard to perfect. Could they really defeat Majora without her strength?
In a way, although the title of firstborn heir was taken from him upon his birth, he was terrified of stumbling into the role if she were to not come back. The jealousy had caused him to act out in the passed - it caused him to hone his skills to become the best leader he possibly could, to show that he was heir material. But overtime, his love for his sister, and support of her cause had hindered such envy and allowed him to live in the comfort of where he would end up.
The Isle was small though. It was large to travel, yes, but too small to find royalty among it that were ready for courting and ability to rule. Anyone he would marry, he'd surely be sent to their home to live with them, rather than taking them back to Hyrule, and it was a scary thought.
Being forced to live in hiding within the Lost Woods truly humbled him to call home wherever his heart was... but some days he often wondered where his heart truly lied--or if he even had a heart.
"It's... been a long four years, I'll admit," he murmured. "And just these recent months have been the hardest. Zelda worked so tirelessly to save that boy, and now we don't know if she'll even wake up. We can only hope he truly is the Hero we need, and that he'll step up to the plate to defeat Majora. If Zelda can't, then he has to."
He looked up into her pale eyes, a gloss pervading through his irises. "Goddesses forgive me for being so cold. Bringing people into my life has only caused more strife, and I'm afraid that if we become close, you'll surely meet the same fate. Is that something you're willing to endure?"

For a few moments, there was silence. Her eyes merely lingered on the ground as she thought of how best to respond to his question. She was determined, full of willpower and certainly stubborn. There was nothing she would run away from once she set her mind to it, but explaining that to someone else was difficult.
"You know... your sister is inspiring. She knows what she wants, what she needs to do, and she does it. --I doubt she hesitated at the thought of her own well being when she did what she did," Annora said kneeling down on the ground in front of him, her hand still resting on his arm, "In a way, I wan't to be the same. I don't want to be a coward who can't face the trials and tribulations life has to offer."
Annora was always the type of person to feel a strong connection to people, even if she didn't know them well. She had spent much of her time growing up in her community. She had put forth effort, time, blood, sweat and tears into ensuring the happiness of her people, and now --her own happiness was staring her in the face.
"I know what I want..." she said in a soft voice, her cheeks red and warm with color, "Nothing you say can change that fact."
If it wasn't for him, she would be dead; there was not much else she wouldn't have the strength to endure.
Standing up, she planned on making a daring move. Her heart was racing, but she didn't stop as she paced over towards the bed a few meters away. Her head began to spin as she slowly unbuttoned her waist coat. 'He is a prince, what you are doing can get you killed!' 'What if he rejects you?' 'Are you good enough for him?' She was never this forward, but like she said, --Zelda's actions were inspiring.
Despite the amount of inner turmoil, she still stood there, a slight breeze licking at her skin. Looking back, her pale colored eyes met his, her gaze calling him.
