TITLE/NICKNAME: Raven // The Banshee Queen
RACE: Twili
AGE: Nineteen years old
GENDER: Female
SEXUALITY: Homosexual/Pansexual

PERSONALITY
DESCRIPTION: Raven is a woman focused on making the world a better place... For herself. Her primary goal is to find out the meaning in life. What is her purpose? How can she best serve her kingdom? She is an idealist and a perfectionist, who drives herself hard in her quest for achieving the goals she has identified for herself.
Raven is highly intuitive about people. She relies heavily on her intuitions to guide her, and uses the discoveries to constantly search for value in life. She is on a continuous mission to find the truth and meaning in underlying things. Every encounter and every piece of knowledge gained gets sifted through her value system, and is evaluated to see if it has any potential to help her define or refine her own path in life. The goal at the end of the path is always the same - to change the world using the Fused Shadow which she so desperately wishes to reforge
When she is seen, it typically goes one of two ways; either she is stalking or she is hunting. She can be sighted observing things, watching at a distance as some event unfolds or watching something of her own devising seeing how people react to this or that. Wherever she is however, it can be sure that tragedy is at hand.
When she is hunting, it's very obvious. She doesn't hold back but makes very deliberate and very overt movements and she lets them know she's coming and doesn't care who or what gets in the way. She intentionally causes a scene and kills those who happen to be there, intentionally letting some escape or hide, though not with a little something to remember her by.
As you might imagine she has no social life, and doesn't even think to want one. She's very purposeful and doesn't do things that don't have a use. She simply exists for her purpose and her purpose alone, moving forward towards her goals like a force of nature. Goals that aren't exactly pretty.
To be blunt, she is more of a monster than she is a mortal that feels or weighs decisions against a conscious.
As a result of that, she tends to come across conflict a lot.
In conflict situations, Raven places little importance on who is right and who is wrong. She focuses on the way that the conflict makes her feel, and indeed doesn't really care whether or not she's right. She doesn't want to feel badly. This trait sometimes makes her appear irrational and illogical in conflict situations that needs her to use a lot of words rather than power itself. This is solely due to the fact that when speaking in a conflict, there's no way she can keep her emotions aside and the woman really doesn't run good with emotions and feelings. So, she lives by a formula that keeps her away from verbal conflicts. In her opinion, its better to settle the scores with power alone.
Raven is flexible and laid-back, until one of her values is violated. In the face of her value system being threatened, she can become an aggressive defender, fighting passionately for her cause. When she has adopted a project or job which she's interested in, it usually becomes a cause for her. Although she's not a highly detail-oriented individual, she will cover every possible detail with determination and vigor when working for her cause.
When it comes to the mundane details of life maintenance, Raven is typically completely unaware of such things. She might go for long periods without noticing a stain on the carpet, but carefully and meticulously brushes a speck of dust off of her favorite sword.
Raven is comfortable in dealing with hard facts and logic. She tends to not focus on her feelings and the human condition makes it easy for her to deal with impersonal judgment. She completely understands and believes in the validity of impersonal judgment, which makes her naturally rather effective at using it. Raven will generally go with impersonal analysis and is capable of being quite logical. Under stress, it's not uncommon for the woman to calmly hold a stance in the middle of the battleground and let the facts shift slowly through her mind, while she simply chooses to defend her body at that point of time.
Raven has very high standards and is more or less of a perfectionist. Consequently, she is usually hard on herself, and doesn't give enough credit. She might have problems working on a project in a group, because her standards are likely to be higher than other members of the group. In group situations, she may have a control problem. Raven seriously needs to work on balancing her high ideals with the requirements of every day living. Without resolving this conflict, she'll never be happy with herself, and may become confused and paralyzed about what to do with her life. She is at her very best in situations where she's working for personal goals and in which she just needs to use hard logic and not mix up a lot of emotions with it.
So in one hand, Raven is a quiet and observant woman who wants nothing more than to succeed in her ideals, and on the other hand she is a egotistical pretentious monster that cares little about life.
These facts go simply hand in hand.
Raven is the type to give little regard to who she kills; if they hinder her in any way, she will remove them from the situation entirely. Nobody and no thing can control her. Anyone who thinks they can is sure to find themselves with their flesh burning in their own personal hell. She doesn't take well to being manipulated or lied to, and nobody gets a second chance with her. If she asks you a question, you have exactly then to answer it. Answer it, you might live. Delay your answer and she'll kill. Lie, and she'll kill.
Long term enemies are something she takes more seriously, and she is the sort who will destroy all you care about to get at you. Family, friends, associates, guilds, even property. She can be incredibly vindictive and spiteful against persistent enemies who survive or even manage to defeat her. She never forgets, and she has never been seen to forgive.
After all, if they die in the process... they die due to their own foolish decisions.
LIKES:
Like is too positive an emotion for her. Here are things that an outside perspective might assume she "Likes" since any character has to have something here.
• Harm. She seems quite fond of causing pain and taking lives. She does so casually at times, having no apparent moral compass or any regard for mortal life.
• Chaos. She seems to like spreading chaos. She seems to like breaking unity and ending peace. Turning brothers against brothers, nations against nations, guilds against guilds.
• Fear. She seems to like causing fear itself, not just as a byproduct of the previous two but on its own as she seems to intentionally leave survivors that are alive, if missing pieces, but terrified.
• Physical Interaction. Something that drives her; Raven will often be flirtatious, to all sides of the spectrum. She likes the attraction and the attention.
DISLIKES:
Dislike is too strong of an emotion for her. Similar to likes, here are things an outside perspective might assume she dislikes.
• Oppressors. Unable to find a better term for this; Raven simply despises people, objects and concepts that hinder her values in any shape or form.
• Crowded locations. She seems to avoid crowds or crowded public spaces, unless she intends to kill everyone. But it will prevent her from a casual appearance.
• Selflessness. Witnessing selfless acts seems to infuriate her as though someone had flipped a the murder switch. In what fashion would it make any amount of sense to do something without clause?
MOTIVATIONS:
Here are the motivations others would rightly assume she has. The claws she reaches out with, the true intent hidden in the dark.
• Despair. She seems motivated by a desire to spread fear, causing despair wherever she makes a public appearance.
• Division. She seems motivated to tear apart friendships and alliances and pit allies against allies just as much as she wants enemies fighting enemies. She holds no allegiances of her own, whether in name or in morals. "Dark", "Light", it doesn't make a difference to her.
• Dominance. She seems motivated to establish some sort of dominance over life and perhaps the world or beyond. However, she seems perfectly happy with the thought of ruling over the ashes that remain.
• Fused Shadows. Ever since she was little, Raven has grown up listening to the story of the Interloper's; her ancestral beings, and has made her one true goal to reunite the Fused Shadows instrument to return order to her realm.
FEARS:
Fear is definitely not something she can feel. As with like and dislike, here are things others may assume she fears, with things that she may be more cautious about or so on.
• Failure. The ones thing that Raven absolutely fears; is failure in upholding her values and reaching her goals. When faced with this, she grows desperate and outrageous, throwing out her logical ideals and letting emotion take over.
• Imprisonment. Sure she was trapped within the Twilight Realm for years, escaping with her father into the parallel realm, but beyond that Raven fears solitude and imprisonment. Though she does not stay her actions due to this fear.
• Poverty. Trusting few, Raven has always trusted money. Its the new language that the world readily listens to, it never fails you, it never lets you down. Money might be the only thing that draws Raven to a job. Well, that and the thrill of the kill. However, she fears the idea of being broke. One can see her on the edge when she's low on money.
"Once upon a time…Among those living in the light,
beings who excelled at using magic appeared.
They became known as the Dark Interlopers,
And when they saw Hyrule,
they tried to bring peace to the Hylian-Gerudo war.
Against all odds, they turned to the Fused Shadows,
an ancient relic.
This was the source of their power.
When they failed, they journeyed to the sacred realm to retrieve the Triforce.
The goddesses were not happy.
Banished into the Twilight Realm,
their relic was destroyed and scattered.
The Twili are their descendants.
We, Sable, are their descendants.
To reclaim our heritage,
And to bring peace to our people,
We must collect the fragmented pieces.
The people of our tribe...
a tribe that mastered the arts of magic...
were locked away in this world like insects in a cage.
In the shadows we regressed,
so much so that we soon knew neither anger nor hatred.
..nor even the faintest bloom of desire.
And all of it was the fault of a useless,
do-nothing royal family
that had resigned itself to this miserable half-existence!"
Words that echoed in her mind for years, a story that her father told her every night. The story of her people, the story of her ancestors. This set the path for Sable; it set her destiny. Like every Twili, Sable was created within the confines of the Twilight Realm. A plane of existence that was shrouded in darkness, and those that lived within the world were exemplary users of dark magic.
Her father worked as an adviser to the current king, who thought the man be foolish. In fact, her father, Zyran, despised the entirety of their tribes existence, believing that they were wronged, continuously being punished for something that their ancestors did.
Eventually his treasonous actions were not unspoken, and caused him to be exiled from the kingdom, forced to live out in the darkness of the Twili Realm. However, her father, was not okay with this as his set fate. Through means that Sable can not even remember anymore, they traveled to the Sacred Realm in hopes of finding their destiny.
The harsh light caused them to cower, seeking shelter among a nearby family. They spent quite some time here, telling their tale to the humans, as well as teaching the young boy and Sable dark magic. This boy was her first friend, as they spent many nights talking about every subject that crossed their young minds.
But time came for them to leave, and live out their life, searching endlessly for clues to the hidden relic they so eagerly desired.
In time, the light had worn her father, and caused his death prematurely, leaving Sable, who had grown accustomed to the light to continue the path laid out for them. In years, she regressed into a cold hearted woman, her own dark power seeping into her heart, and just to survive she became a sword for hire, doing any job that meant a pay check.
During that time, she came to possess one of the shards of the triforce, finding it and it's power bestowed on her after felling a target. Using this as a sign to continue her goal, she plans on using the power given to strengthen herself before finding clues to the whereabouts of the Fused Shadows.
APPEARANCE
HEIGHT & WEIGHT: There is much more to this woman than just long hair and armor. With fair skin that rarely sees sunlight due to her preference, Raven maintains a beauty regime to ensure she keeps her body blemish free-- no sign of scars, birthmarks, or other physical abnormalities mar her person as a result of her care.
Carrying herself with a sense of nobility and grace, her steps are sure and steady, chin up and eyes forward to face the world without hesitation or fear. Though often politely neutral in expression, when Raven smiles, there are two small dimples in her cheeks.
Standing only five feet, one inch tall, her small height doesn't make her stand out from the crowd all that much. Sable's hourglass form is maintained with proper eating habits and exercise while working long, arduous hours that result a slightly curvier dancer's elegant physique.
HAIR & EYES:Sable possesses hair that is a bright auburn color, resembling the light of the sun shining down onto the world. Her hair is not a chalky matte shade, instead it has more of a sheer tone that makes it appear like gold.
Hanging past her rear, Ravens's hair takes a great amount of effort to maintain its sleek, and straight nature that her mothers' dominating genes bestowed.
Depending on her mood -- and if she is engaged in activities -- she may pull her hair up in a long braid or messy up-do on occasion, though she will wear it down usually.
Due to a personal preference, she is making the awkward transition from having her bangs cut across her forehead, to wearing them side swiped at her crown. She had worn the traditional cut for years, but recently Sable has taken a liking to more modernized styles and prefers to wear the layered look.
Raven's rusted eye color came from her father and, like his, often portray her true mood at a glance, whether that be anger, happiness or hatred. They are surrounded by dark eyelashes that flare out in an abnormally long length, and curve upwards in the outside corners where the top and bottom fibers meet. Matching her natural hair color, Sable's eyelashes and arched eyebrows are a pale color, however due to the modern age and the magical uses of make up, she is able to keep them a dark brown that accent the highlights in her glimmering amber orbs.
Dominant Hand: It is no secret that Sable is at most a skilled fighter, so it would make sense that she has a preferred hand or eye or in some cases -- ambidextrous. For her, that would be her right hand; she performs all her motor skills with her right side first between writing, pulling, catching, punching, swinging, and even blocking.
Contrary to having a dominant hand, she does not possess a dominant eye however, and can aim with either her right or left eye. Even though she is versatile when she aims, it does not mean her accuracy is 100%, that being a trained skill to obtain after years of combat training which she clearly lacks.
VOICE: VOICE EXAMPLE Her voice is fair and calm, and could be described in a sense, very feminine. It lacks depth, but is not high pitched like most young females. Sable always maintains a sense of dignified formality even among those she is comfortable around and never uses conjunctions or any other form of slang terminology. Her inflection and pronunciation of words are perfect, if a bit enunciated due to her strict upbringing. In terms of pitch, she is undeniably female, as it holds a soft and, melodic quality to her voice whenever she chooses to speak in her normally gentle tone.
Raven is not an emotionally strong individual and more than often her lack of emotions is conveyed through her voice, sounding apathetic naturally. With that being said, her voice has a wide range of volume and pitch that will change with her mood. Most of the time her voice is soft, unless she is emotionally compromised or expressing clear irritation, at that time her tone will not only change pitch, but her speech becomes mulled over in a mumble.
