3/14/20 The staff are working dilligintly on the next plot and introduction to ARC 3 of the site. Over the next couple weeks,
we will be transitioning the plot, organizing boards, and a new location will be added to the site! Please note that Termina will be removed from playable locations
during this process. Thank you for your patience!

[attr="class","text-area"]There was nothing more relaxing to a chatter-weary chieftain's ears than the sound of a cool mountain stream rushing past. Brynja cast their line into the water, sighing as they felt the tension drain away, then reeled it in quickly, hoping for a tug. Luck hadn't been with them that cast, and they sighed, casting again. The repetitive motion was almost meditative. Pull back... cast... reel. Pull back... cast... reel. Pull back... cast...[break][break]
Their line tugged. "Hm?? they grunted, looking behind them to discover their line had caught on a bit of scrub. Sighing, Brynja sat to detangle it, then walked back over to the bank. They grumbled "One more, and I move farther down," at the water. Casting their line, they watched it disappear beneath the surface of the water. They reeled it in absently — so much so that they almost missed the tug on their line. They let the fish take hold, waiting patiently until their line stopped spinning out, then raised their rod and gently began reeling in their catch. "Come on, come on..." Their rod creaked under the pressure, but they were an experienced gamesman. They didn't let up until the last second. In a feat borne from many years of practice, Brynja snapped the rod up, pulling the fish fully out of the water and sending it flopping onto the bank. They admired their catch briefly, removing the hook before tossing it onto a pile with several others.[break][break]
They stared at the pile. The fish stared back. "Almost enough for a decent fry." (The fish opted not to respond.) With a smile, Brynja threaded another bit of bait onto the hook and cast their line back into the river.

The sound of thick boots sinking into the snow reverberated around her as Lae Lantana took big steps, trying to make her away over the snow drifts. This was now the second icy mountain she had set to climb and she’d taken a lot of her experiences to heart. She was a little better at getting her footing, a little better at shifting her weight, and a little better at catching snowflakes. More than anything, she was much more accustomed to the cold. Don’t get her wrong, she was still dubbed up like a mummy but she had done so with vastly less whining and that was the true accomplishment. And with that ever so small increase in cold tolerance, every now and then she was able to take breaks from her hike to play around. She’d make snow fairies on the ground or snow fairy sculptures with sticks for wings. If she found a woodland friend, she might make a snow fairy ball and they would have a snow fairy ball fight! She especially liked the noise when she stomped around. [break][break]
This place was incredibly weird. As a Great Fairy, Lae had been somewhat aware of the existence of other worlds like Hyrule. However, like most other things from eating to sleeping to mountain climbing, she found that knowing about something and actually experiencing it were very different. And Hyrule was about as interesting an experience as you could get! Everything was different. While she first dealing with snow had come from Lorule’s Death Mountain, the one in Hyrule was surprisingly more volcanic! And the Goron Mountain in Lorule wasn’t like this one at all. This was a different climate with different animals and different villages of different cultures. It was fascinating to compare the two and it opened up even more things for Lae to explore! [break][break]
As she continued on her trek, marveling at nature’s beauty, she spied a lumpy looking figure ahead. It was a little difficult to tell from a distance but with a silhouette like that, it must be a funky goron. Before Lae could consider saying hello, she watched the stranger jerk back and forth suddenly. Their hands moved rapidly and they pulled back on a long stick and then! A fish popped out! Lae clapped her mitten-sealed hands to her face and called out in astonishment, ”Woah!” [Break][break]
Without a second thought, her feet left the ground as she quickly soared over to get a better look. She floated over the goron's head, letting her hands gently fell onto their shoulders as she leaned in close. The flap of her wing was almost silent, masking her presence until she impolitely leaned in and blocked Brynja’s view of her own game, but she was too captivated to notice. She cocked her head to the side, still muttering escalation of amazement under her breath. After a couple seconds, she tilted her head down to address the goron. With a sparkle in her eyes and an intense curiosity in her voice, she questioned, ”How did you do that!”

"GOLDEN TITTYFUCKING GODDESSES!"[break] Brynja about jumped out of her skin. There above them, hanging in the crisp air, was a... weird... child. Pink hair, sure, but wings? Not a Goron. Some kind of outsider. They stumbled backwards, nearly tripping over their own boots, and thudded on their ass. "Kid, you can't just jump... fly... You can't do that to people! Gods!" they added with feeling, slipping into the familiar role of chief as they stood and brushed themself off. "Imagine how dangerous it would have been if I'd fallen in."The kid has wings, they idly realized. Probably isn't a threat."Or hooked you with my tackle," they finished. "Now, get... down... from there. You're in Goron territory now, and I expect an explanation on how exactly you came to be here."Wings... Hylians don't have wings now, do they? Would give them too much of an advantage. They scowled at the intruder, setting their tackle aside as they prepared for a confrontation.

Saturated sunrise doesn't seem as bright
[attr=class, bulk] Lae watched curiously as the stranger fretted and fumbled back into the snow. Her wings flapped occasionally; although, it was unclear why. Her hair may be falling away from her face towards the ground, but she was still hovering in place, now completely upside down, without anything holding her up. Lae didn’t have much respect for aerodynamics or gravity. “Wow, language… You’re really fussy, aren’t you?” She commented casually. [break][break]
Righting herself, Lae folded her arms and nodded intently, pretending to take the grumpy lady seriously. ”Well I walked here of course.” she explained. From her position floating in the air, she gestured to her new, fuzzy snow boots and shook the snow off of them as if the answer were obvious. ”It was pretty hard; I won’t lie, but I am an experienced mountain climber now.” she went on to brag. “But hey, you didn’t answer my question! How did you get that fishie! Can I see it?” she fluttered closer, trying to look into her tackle box without permission.
