Description: The mission begins with Marin investigating rumors of treasure buried in the lake.However, before she can so much as verify these very questionable rumors, she finds herself dragged underwater in full view of Seale by a powerful current. Unable to outswim it, she is pulled into an underwater chasm that leads into an unexplored cave. Dark and foreboding, she has no idea that she has stumbled upon a hostile mine shaft that inadvertantly breached an ancient, supernatural prison and released the vengeful spirits within. Thankfully, Seale is able to save her from drowning. However, they cannot get back out the way they came in and the way forward seems treacherous. They need to navigate their way out if either of them are to see the light of day again.
Base Requirements: Escaping intact will be a trial. Marin and Seale will be required to make use of stealth and manipulation to avoid the groups of enemies that would be all too willing to harm them should they be discovered. However, the malevolent undead will be much more difficult to pass by unnoticed. Additionally, light is in short supply and some areas of the mine shaft are now flooded, presenting their own trials. Difficulty Multiplier Requirements: Defeat the boss, as opposed to simply escaping without fighting him.
