As she moved along the shadowy hallways of the long misused Hyrule Castle, Nimue caught sight of a certain familiar face. ‘Gael! What in the name of Nayru is he doing here!’ she thought to herself, ‘I left him back in the Zora Village to govern over the people while I was gone, or at least that's what I intended he do… Whatever the case, I must make sure he doesn't meet with El, as I am sure he still holds some prejudice against Gael.’ Nimue gazed at the great oaken doors that presented itself as an entranceway to the throne room, now closed to ensure no intruder dare enter that hallowed hall. But her attention was drawn not to the door itself, but what was below it. A small puddle of liquid spread out underneath the doorway, pooling across the boundary of the throne room and the hallway. ‘I am sorry that I have to take such a drastic course of action, my Gael, but there are some things that should be left unsaid.’ With that thought, she took out a clear glass vial filled with seawater and tipped a fair amount of it onto the stone floor. Kneeling down to the ground, she traced around the outline of the pool which shone with an unnatural light blue light as she did so. Inside of the glowing waters could be seen swirling bubbles, which moved in seemingly random directions. Breathing in deeply, Nimue closed her parasol and stepped tentatively into the puddle, her body slowly sinking below the surface of the water. She swam a short distance, following in the wake of several bubbles leading towards a patch of light above her. She reached out into the light, her hand grasping cold stone and allowing her to lift herself out and onto solid ground. Right in front of her, a great wooden door stood, sturdy and strong, but open. Hearing footsteps coming from just outside, she looked towards the side of one of the doors and saw a sliding bar which was to be brought down into place to lock and secure the room, a purpose which served Nimue well as it crashed down onto the latch. Sure that she had kept Gael from a sore encounter with El, she turned round in relief only to realise one thought, ‘I've trapped myself inside of this damned room!’
[attr="class","drkbody"]Minutes had passed since he entered the castle foyer; not a body in sight --not even dead ones, and no sign of his 'brother' coming to greet them. The man had little honor, acting as a coward by hiding from his enemies, nothing but a snake. Gael pursed his lips, keeping his blade unsheathed and in his hand as he perused the interior. The throne room was locked and barred -- something he expected, but he did not find it likely that Eleazar was in there. If the false monarch was too scared to greet them at the door, he knew that he wouldn't hide in someplace so obvious.
If there was anyone in this castle, he was bound to find them.
The primary halls; the foyer, the throne room, the kitchens, and the dining hall were all empty, and no where else to search but the secondary wings. However he would do it with only a small number of men he had brought with him. Leaving the large force to watch the entrance for any followers, he took only two loyal and skilled Zora guard. They were impeccable with their large spears in hand and shell like armor to protect them from any advance. So together the three of them broke off from the group and began to head down a large corridor, one that would open up to the tall staircases leading up to the towers. It was here that his ears perked up at a sound.
“Oi! And quiet you! You’re not helping!”
Obviously a voice that was uttered just a tad too loudly. But it was enough to prepare Gael as he slowed, and walked up closer. Three figures came into view and without hesitation, Gael stepped out with blade in hand. "On your knee's scum! Surrender down your arm's, and I won't think twice about killing you so I suggest you take me to your leader!" he commanded, his sword raised and ready for a swift strike, "Be quick about it!"
Unbeknownst to him, he raised his weapon to the King of Labrynna and Holodrum.... however, unlike himself, they were not clothed in armor from head to toe, and instead appeared like mere robbers in the company of the Rogue Order.
Asthar was a stubborn one, which was why he refused the option of letting Aryllia take part in a mission that was as dangerous as this. Logically, Perseus was correct in saying that bringing Aryllia along was purely a benefit for them. Asthar had full faith in the girl’s skills and he had been able to have the opportunity to fight alongside her with great results. The problem perhaps was a more emotional reason.
Remaining firm in his decision Asthar looked down at the girl quite upset that she was here in the first place. While at first he remained determined in combatting her in this decision, Asthar’s eyes immediately widened a bit the moment he heard her suddenly yell out his name. After having said his piece it was then he realized the look of pain in the girl’s eyes. “Wh-wha?” Asthar said immediately as his eyes widened the moment he was told not to repeat what he had said. He was a bit taken back by the sudden burst that the girl had taken and it had almost seemed that the determination he had just had seemed to take a blow all of a sudden. A bead of sweat ran down the side of his face as he leaned back a tad and raised an eyebrow looking a bit baffled at her sudden outburst, almost like somebody who was getting a good scolding.
She paused midsentence and Asthar was able to compose himself a tad as he stood back straight and his eyes softened a bit as he listened to her speak on about him. It warmed his heart a bit and it made him feel nice just hearing those words from her even if he wasn’t completely in agreement with those sentiments. “Geez…You’re over exaggerating when it comes to talking about me…You guys will be fine and I’m not kicking the bucket anytime soon” Asthar said with a sigh as he closed his eyes and scratched the back of his head. He wasn’t sure in his words, but he sure as hell was not just going to merely throw his life away easily.
Asthar was going to speak once more and address the girl’s participation in this assassination attempt, but Perseus began to speak and Asthar’s eyes immediate opened widely as he narrowed his eyes and glared over at the king, his brow twitching slightly “damn it I told you to shut up” Asthar grumbled under his breath thinking about how he was seriously going to kill the laughing bastard.
Thinking about stabbing Perseus before Eleazar could, red eyes immediately shot over to Aryllia the moment she began to speak and Asthar immediately turned to face her again a bit stunned. “huuuuh?! And what exactly do you think is my kind of girl?!” Asthar said getting a bit frustrated with all these sudden unforeseen moments. Immediately Asthar just gripped his hair with both hands and let out a loud groan and closed his eyes tightly in frustration “ah just forget it!” Asthar said before closing his eyes and let out a sigh. It was a deep sigh and one used to reclaim his thoughts. It was rare enough for Asthar to even lose his cool in the first place and with each time he was caught off guard it just made him lose his cool easier. For him to lose it like this truly meant it was In this case it was a special case.
“…You can come…” Asthar said softly and much more calm before opening his eyes as he looked towards the side narrowing the eyes a bit “Listen, You know that I hold your skill in high esteem and I can trust you with my back no problem…It just…the thing is I…” Asthar began to say but was immediately cut off. Somebody called out to them and in a flash Asthar quickly placed his hood over his head once more and quickly turned around to face the newcomer. With his left arm he instinctively spread it to the side in a means to protect Aryllia and with his right hand he drew his sword and pointed it at the young Zora prince that had arrived. Glowing red eyes glanced at the prince and narrowed as he smirked. “Oh? So even the young prince has come to play” Asthar said casually.

[attr="class","jartoxlyr"] I would lose everything just for you
[attr="class","jartoxpost"] The banter between the two continued, as Perseus tried to hold in his laughter from his revelation - though Asthar's reaction wasn't quite what he expected. He might actually kill him for alleging this! Perseus immediately shut right up, and while the two continued their disagreement, he began to realize just how loud they really were. They probably drew some attention. [break][break] "Guys," Perseus tried to gain their attention, putting a finger to his lip to try and get them to hush, but it seemed that he was being ignored by both parties. "Guys, we're going to lose our position..." he looked around. Though his eyes had adjusted to view Aryllia and Asthar, everything around them was still engulfed in darkness. [break][break] Finally, Perseus had caught wind of the final moments of their conversation, hearing Aryllia speak of not being his type, to which his brow furrowed. "You know we're talking about Asthar right? If you have legs and a nice bosom, I'm pretty sure he's got enough attraction. You, my dear, make Asthar much more flustered than the usual broad would though. So props for that." [break][break] Asthar was just getting ready to finish his statements to Aryllia when they were suddenly interrupted by a blade to his neck. The voice that followed was one the King had not heard in quite some time, as he immediately narrowed his eyes to get a better look without moving abruptly or seeming threatening. [break][break] "...Prince Gael? Is that you?" Percy asked quietly. The movement of the prince was swift and threatening though, and Perseus suddenly felt a surge of caution wave through him to protect his friend, a hand set in front of Asthar in a defensive manner. "Prince Gael, I order you to stand down before you do serious harm to one of our most powerful allies!" the king suddenly commanded in a bold tone.

Some of them want to use you
Some of them want to get used by you
Some of them want to abuse you
Some of them want to be abused.
Aryllia became rather unsettled by the words that came from Asthar's mouth, as he continued to disagree of his importance in his role as King. She kept her eyes narrowed as they watched his crimson, shaking her head very slowly as to not push her too far by saying the wrong thing. "I swear, you're a hypocrite. You can't go around praising people of their worth and then turn around and barely see how important you truly are."
She took a deep breath, her face flushed as she tried to forget the words that King Perseus had spoken of Asthar liking her, to which he had quickly responded with the muse of what he did like in a girl. She shrugged, slightly agitated by the question. "I don't know--fuller girls...? Ones that fawn over your every word? I'm not exactly someone who falls under the category of a lover."
Quite honestly, Aryllia had never seen Asthar so upset. He seemed to be visually irritated with her presence, and she felt a pit in her stomach as she pursed her lips, looking down quickly. "If you really don't want me around, I can just find a different place to look." A change in the air had given Asthar defeat though, as he had finally agreed to allow her to follow.
She nodded quietly, a small silence between the trio for just a moment before Asthar began to speak once more.
“Listen, You know that I hold your skill in high esteem and I can trust you with my back no problem…It just…the thing is I…”
But they were suddenly cut short by a blade that was pushed into Asthar's face. Aryllia growled quietly as she clenched her staff in hand tightly, "How dare you point your sword at His Royal Majesty. Who do you think you are?"
Perseus suddenly took over though, as he had mused in the stranger's presence, before stepping forward to defend Asthar, demanding of the young man to step down.
So this was the true prince of the Labrynna... and considered to be Eleazar's brother?
"Your grace, if he is related to Eleazar, then I'm afraid they may share similar ideals or perhaps be affiliated. You cannot simply trust him to back down."

I am the monster in your head
And I thought you'd learn by now
It seems you haven't yet
I am the venom in your skin
He couldn't quite explain the way he felt. All he knew was that he was blessed. Despite the complications of the festival - whether any of the Royal Family were to truly get out alive... none of that mattered. Everything seemed right in the world, just this once, and as he had left the balcony of the castle that looked over the crumbling festival, he immediately made way for his quarters, where he and several defected Sheikah waited for things to quiet down.
...Of course, that's never how things worked, now was it? Eleazar had predicted that he would be followed into the castle, at least by a few overly courageous warriors who thought that perhaps treason was the best next plan while everyone was distracted by the Acolytes. Oh, how joyous and excited he was to surprise those poor souls with his little secret when they finally arrived.
"My lord, some of our scouts have noted that there were several infiltrations into the castle from various locations," a Sheikah had stated as he had entered the room. Eleazar raised a brow as he straightened himself in his chair, a single hand resting upon his chin as his weight was supported by the armrest.
"I see. Any status on whom these intruders may be?" Eleazar asked calmly.
"While we cannot confirm entirely, we found several horses decorated with Labrynnan and Holodran crest. Perhaps mercenaries sent from the two rulers."
"Of course, of course. What else would I expect from Zelda's allied kingdoms?"
"There's one more thing, your majesty."
Eleazar raised a brow, leaning in slightly as the sneer across his face had faltered. "Go on..."
"We found a carriage outside of Castle Town. The Sea Zoran crest was decorated upon the outside. We believe that... he may be here."
There was a long silence within the room, as many of the guards shifted uneasily and avoided eye contact. Eleazar's face had frozen, eyes locked with the guard as his free hand which had rested upon the arm of the chair, gripped into the fabric. His nails tore at the upholstery.
"Could you please repeat that for me?" he spoke, a tightness to his voice. The Guard's eyes widened slightly as he stammered once more.
"I-I believe that perhaps Sir Gael may have--"
"AND WHO TOLD YOU THAT WE COULD CALL THAT BASEBORN BY HIS NAME?!" Eleazar snapped. "I EXPECT YOU TO DO YOUR JOB AND IDENTIFY THESE INTRUDERS AT ONCE. THEY MUST NOT MAKE THERE WAY HERE TOGETHER! FIND THEM AND PUT AN END TO THIS NONSENSE. DO NOT GUESS ON WHO IT MAY BE. THE MOMENT YOU FIND OUT, I EXPECT YOU TO INFORM ME IMMEDIATELY. DO I MAKE MYSELF CLEAR?"
"Y-yes sir! Right away!" the guard had flung out the door.
Eleazar sighed, shaking his head as he ran his hand through his hair. Oh, things were about to get interesting.
"How foolish of the prey to walk right into the hunters lair."
Words like poison as they leaked from magenta lips, and eyes like daggers that tore through the flesh of men. The scent of fear permeated the area, expressions of horror decorating each soldier in a realization of helplessness. Unable to move, they could only watch, wide eyed, as the stain of red fell upon the tiled mosaic flooring. With a dull thump, a once standing figure fell to the cold ground, revealing the tangled mess of azure hair twisted among spectral fingers in a tight grip.
"Where I come from, it is rude to enter a home unannounced."
Playful; high spirited and firm, her words shook the heart of the remaining Zora guard. Frozen in terror, sweat beaded on their brows, and eyes unwavering at the sight of the woman with chromatic hair. With a delicate tilt of her chin, she smirked and released the weight in her palm, letting the severed head fall beside the body that quickly drained at her feet.
"Hmm... now what is a girl to do; because there are--," she commented while raising her hand to nonchalantly point to each guard, her lips moving as she counted the number, "four of you, and only one of me. That doesn't seem fair now does it?"
These words, while they were nothing but a meaningless jest on her part, seemed to breathe a bit of hope back into the captain. His brows furrowed, and he swiftly held lance in hand, reminding his men that it really only was one girl and she couldn't sneak up behind them anymore. -- But this wasn't a game anymore.
There were no screams, no clash of steel, and no sudden cries for help. The expansive fortress was silent, except for the occasional grunt, and obvious shift of armor against the ground. A trail of crimson crawled from the four lifeless victims, to the standing Sable, in her effort to drag the weight of one guard through the castle. "Ser... you weigh alot more than you look," she commented softly as a sigh of frustration slipped past her lips as she turned down a corridor. Though you could not see it upon first glance, a few, if not several, Sheikah cloaked in shadows and waited at a large iron wrought door. This was where his majesty was, Lord Eleazar, false king of Hyrule; currently the only person she held allegiance to.
Crimson eyes and shadowy figures did not stop her however as she entered the room and attempted to fling the bloodied corpse forward -- yet the petite Twili only managed to get it to slump forward with a heavy thud. Afterwards she let out a sigh of relief and gave a curtsy that could only be described as a mockery. "My lord.." she said softly, raising her palm to wipe a trail of sticky and stagnant blood from her cheek. She always hated the mess.
"I found these girls at the front door. They were not very happy at our hospitality, so I gave them a nice present."
Raven smirked, her arms crossed under her chest and her hip slightly cocked to the left. She wore her usual attire; a dark verdant robe, hemmed to tickle the ground as she walked, and pinned tightly around her waist to only accent her feminine features. It's sleeves were long, opening up at the elbow into a flowing cavity, but around her forearms were similar colored gloves that hugged her flesh. She wore tall hempen tights from her hips to her ankles, visible from the wide slits in her robe, and leather sandals as her choice of footwear. In all her appearance was nothing special, only comfortable for what she did best.
"I suppose you would not recognize these faces, how long have you been away from home?"
A soft chuckle echoed in the chamber as she stepped over the body, gazing at the Zora guard, "Though I guess you could not recognize him without his head! No matter, their leader is still somewhere in the castle, and I am here -- only to reassure you that it will be dealt with swiftly. No need to rely on these, lower subjects, my lord."
Clearly acting pugnacious, she turned to leave, her figure exiting the door as quickly as she came. Her eyes were flashing with bloodlust as she walked the halls of the castle with desire. This was her hunt, and she had her mind set on her prey.
[attr="class","drkbody"] There are many mistakes that Gael has made in his history. This just about made the top of the list in the 'Most Idiotic' category. Not only did he hold his blade against one King, but TWO! -- one of them being his own Regent. Sweat beaded on his temple as a fiery blonde woman snapped at him, and though he was at least a foot taller... she had him backing up and stammering in response. "I-I --"
He fell to his knee, bowing lowly, with his two guard following suit. "My apologies My Lord's. From afar you appeared like mere mercenaries employed under --," his head snapped up, gaze fixed on Aryllia. Brows furrowed and teeth clenched tight, "I'll have you know I have no connections to the former heir of the Sea Zora!" he spat as he stood and sheathed his sword. "He is a dragged the Zora honor through the mud enough, and I have taken it upon myself to do something about it."
Glancing at Asthar and Perseus he gave a sly smirk, "Forgive me My Lords, but I must advise you to be more careful. Your voice's carried quite far.... was this supposed to be a sneaky infiltration?" Gael ran his fingers through his hair and placed his other hand on his hip. "I am sure Eleazar's entire company knows we are here. Can I suggest meeting back up with the rest of my battalion. With the element of surprise thrown out the window; we can always take him with force," he suggested taking note of the five men he left back at the busted down front door. Unbeknownst that at that precise moment they were meeting an untimely demise.
"I am sure he has more men, but with as many skilled fighters that we possess, he will stand no chance."
Sure there were other possible options that the four of them could take, but Gael was unaware of what kind of force that Eleazar commanded and there was always a strength in numbers. He only wished for the chance to plunge his blade through his kin and be done with it. A job that everyone expected him to preform.
"On another note.... do you have any idea where he is? I have little knowledge of Hylian architecture."
Nimue’s ear pressed up against the solid oak door of the throne room, listening to anything that was going on outside. She could only stand there helplessly straining her ears to see if she could pick up any conversation outside, but nothing could be heard, no one was there. Knowing that she must escape, both for her own sake and for those of her two sons, she looked around to determine what she could use. An old spear without its tip rested against a wall to her left. A brazier with dying embers clung to the pillar beside her. A myriad of coloured cloths covered the throne itself. A crate full of unlit candles lay to her left. Seeing these items she was initially discouraged as she saw no use in these items alone, but as she continued to ponder in them, a plan started to slowly form within her mind. She took out one of the candles nestled within the crate and proceeded to lower the wick into the brazier, the smouldering embers catching onto the cotton as it began to burst into a flame. With the candle, she unhooked the brazier itself from its resting place before picking up the tipless spear that lay to her left. She tipped the candle at an angle above the top of the spear shaft, wax dripping down onto it as she did so. Using this as a gluing agent, she fixed the brazier into the spear with the spiked edges acting as the spear’s blade. Following this, she rushed over to the throne and began tying the fabrics draped over it together into one large string which she proceeded to knot onto the brazier topped spear. With her new equipment in tow, she positioned herself just below the stained glass windows that sat high up on the walls, after securely fastening the other end of the cloths around a sturdy looking pillar. Taking her makeshift spear in hand, she aimed it into the heart of one of the stained glass windows and threw it with all of her might. With the spear piercing the window, and landing in the other side, Nimue have the attached cloth a few firm tugs to ensure that it was lodged in a secure position to allow her to climb up and out of the throne room. Now sure it was all fine, she scaled her rope and escaped her self made prison in the throne room, landing in some side corridor she couldn't determine the location of. Wandering around them for a short while, she came across a set of stairs which she proceeded to ascend. Hearing voices as she neared the top of the steps, she hesitantly stepped towards a group of figures, before breaking into a large grin when she recognised them all. ‘Now, Gael dear,’ she said to the young Zora heir, ‘why on earth are you pointing your sword at those people? Our kingdom will build up quite a reputation if you continue this. A negative reputation, I might add if those are who I believe them to be.' She bowed towards the the three figures. 'King Perseus, King Asthar, Lady Aryllia, I am sorry for my son's rash behaviour.'
His eyes were closed, but his brow twitched as he listened to both Perseus and Aryllia talk about exactly what kind of woman was his type, immediately making the king regret even asking that question. He was annoyed that they thought of him as some sort of pervert or something and they definitely did not get him, but Asthar did have to admit that with his actions it was reasonable for them to believe such a thing. Regardless it ticked him off hearing all this from those two of all people.
Perhaps Asthar could call it good timing as he was about to say something he probably wasn’t ready to fully say, but regardless Asthar stood with his blade pointed and a blade pointed at him as well. With his eyes he could tell who exactly it was and he was glad Perseus was able to see who it was as well. Closing his eyes, Asthar frowned a bit as he scratched the back of his head with his free hand the moment he heard Aryllia yell at the prince. “I truly am grateful for your concern but you really don’t have to really address me so formally…” Asthar said before opening one eye curiously as he noticed a female step in.
“Oh, how do you do milady? I must say you are looking quite lovely today though perhaps this is not the best place to be...I wouldn't want the zora to weep if something does happen to their lovely queen” Asthar said sheathing his blade before placing his arm across his chest and gave the woman a bow. “Nonetheless The two of you do not need to apologize…in a place like this such a reaction is something that is reasonable and advisable” Asthar said standing up straight with a bright smile attempting to let the fact that he almost chopped off Aryllia head slide from his mind. “Aryll…its fine…lets trust them…” Asthar said softly to the girl beside him before crossing his arms casually as he listened to Gael’s words.
Hearing his words and seeing the smirk merely made Asthar close his eyes and let out a chuckle before looking back at Gael with a smirk as well. “You’re quite right, perhaps we’ve gotten a bit…heated up” Asthar said before cupping his chin in thought. “The stealth approach is still an option...even with the noise that was just made there is still a bunch of chaos going about at the castle’s gate and I’m pretty sure at this point some have entered at the very least…but still…in a time like this it is not worth taking such a risky chance for something that will fail…Eleazar is a smart one and I’m sure he is expecting some form of assassination…” Asthar said calmly. “Though his army is gone…a single person can be worth a thousand men…for all we know this could merely be a means to instill a false sense of hope that would be robbed once one seizes said hope….” Asthar said before narrowing his eyes and smirked for a moment. If that truly was a case then in Asthar’s eyes he had to praise the bastard somewhat.
“The guise of being cornered…in other words a trap…I am sure the idea has already popped into all your minds, but it is to be noted that no matter how skilled you are…a calculating mind can turn the battle easily…if we are to go…we need to take great caution and cannot merely assume things will go as we believe…” Asthar said. The tone and mannerism he spoke with had been one uncommon for the young king to show, it was something that displayed the more royal and serious aspect of him, the aspect that held the experience he had as the king of Holodrum.
“Ah, but I’ve rambled on long enough” Asthar suddenly said quite casually with a lazy smile totally shifting from the tone earlier. “I’m merely following the idiot behind me and here to protect the beauty that is beside me” Asthar said using his thumb to point at Perseus behind him as he spoke and then spread out his arm over at Aryllia as if he was presenting her. “This is Perky’s mission so he’ll decide the next step…gathering reinforcements is a good idea however…” Asthar said

[attr="class","jartoxpost"] Gael had suddenly retreated to apprehension, lowering his blade as he had realized of his errors, and Perseus's stern expression had loosened back, becoming placid. A small smirk formed upon his face, he closed his eyes as the Zoran Prince began to talk of giving away their position, to which he looked at Asthar and Aryllia with an 'I-told-you-so" expression. [break][break] Yes, Eleazar must have known by now that there were several people attempting to kill him at this point. With all the surprises at hand, many seemed to be unhappy with this tyrant's ways. He never imagined so many people would have jumped on the opportunity to kill him tonight. But perhaps this meant the odds were in their favor. And despite the mumbo jumbo of prophecy that Zelda had nagged into his brain that Link must be the one to strike him down, this was ultimately Labrynna's issue. [break][break] An evil came and went. And Perseus truly believed that that was what Elinkar was meant to stop. Anything thereafter was simply... unfortunate. And stoppable. He cleared his throat for a moment when Gaelio had talked of meeting with his troops, taking them with force, and Percy pursed his lips for a moment in thought. "I... don't think that will work. I'm not sure if you've seen what's been going on outside the castle, but... he has some very powerful allies. If he knows what to expect, then we won't have very much time. I stand by keeping surprise on our side, perhaps if we split up, or sent his guards on a goose chase. Whatever the case - we need to keep them distracted to do this properly." [break][break] Suddenly from the shadows, a woman had appeared in the distance, shining gown and eyes glowing like amber in candlelight. Perseus was quite surprised to see this one show up, because... well... as far as affiliation went - Percy's father and the King of the Sea Zora were enemies. Since becoming king, there has been little work on trying to improve their relationship - however after the king's death... who knew what was going on. [break][break] "Well, now I can see where Eleazar gets his good looks from," Perseus chuckled. Truly - it was kind of bizarre. Snow white hair with bright, golden eyes - if Eleazar was a girl, he'd probably look like the spitting image of his mother. "However I also advise you to leave this castle at once. It's not safe here and your son is prepared to kill anyone who gets in his way. Do not forget what you and your husband have done to him. I'm sure he has not." [break][break] As cruel as it sounded, it was true. This was not going to end well if he saw his mother. "Especially being here with Gael... he will surely lose his composure very quickly and do something brash. He has a lot of power - more than we predicted. Do not sympathize with a sociopath." [break][break] Gael had asked if they perhaps knew where Eleazar was hiding, to which Percy thought for a moment, looking around to where they were in regards to the chamber of the king. "I think so... I spent a lot of time here when my father was friends with King Daphnes... but I highly advise that she stays out of this... it will only bring trouble," Perseus motioned to his mother.

Aryllia wasn't sure what is was about the situation, but she began to feel incredibly stressed out by the turn of events. There were way too many people here now - and everyone seemed to be divided on what to do next. With a sigh, the young blonde shook her head, closing her eyes before backing away from the trio, watching them argue and decide where to go from here.
Truthfully, she had no idea what they should do. Despite being an expert on seeking the bounty on various problematic characters, Eleazar was a complete mystery to her. Hell - it was the very person that controlled the clan that imprisoned her - and they were not the type to be governed easily. So whatever this man had - it was terrifying.
Perseus had been explaining to Gael of whether they should split up or go by force, but with how loud they have been... yes they were surely found out now. Still, the idea of splitting up, or finding a way to get around the guards seemed favorable. But then another person showed up.
One who looked extremely inexperienced when it came to battles or conquest. And she was Eleazar's mother!? Things were going from bad to worse very quickly, and Asthar had attempted to make conversation with the woman as charmingly as possible - until Perseus stepped in and demanded that she leave because she would surely piss off Eleazar.
Not to say that Aryllia didn't agree. Any flaws in their plan could mean life or death. Anyone who strung along with them who had no skill or ability to keep up would hold them back and cause them to suffer for it. And like hell, was she about to risk her life for the woman who gave life to this psychotic bastard.
"If we don't come up with a plan soon, I'll just be on my way and find a new plan of action," Aryllia chimed in. "We won't get anywhere standing around and trying to figure out a plan. Time's not on our side. Who knows how long the Royal Family will last out there - or if they've already escaped! The guards will surely arrive back in the next few hours."

I am the monster in your head
And I thought you'd learn by now
It seems you haven't yet
I am the venom in your skin
To Eleazar's surprise, another entry made way as one of his own made way through the doorway holding.... well, that must have been a body. A brow raised as the crimson haired woman spoke, and he slowly rose from his chair, standing upright for a moment as he watched the body fall to the floor.
He took a moment to look over the features of the armor, and before he could properly be reminded of its vivid design, Raven then spoke of the guard being from his home at the Zora Seas. El shook his head slowly, still gazing upon the armor as he took a slow step forward, his satin robes of raven and crimson draping down to his feet as the trailed behind him.
"This is an interesting discovery..." he murmured under his breath. These were not normal men; not the common soldier you'd find just standing around the castle waiting for something to happen - no, these were trained experts who were sent out specifically with someone to fight in combat.
And he doubted his mother was one for fighting. So now he was left with all of his suspicions confirmed, as a sneer crept upon him, eyes closed as he took in the scent of their tiny victory.
"So then... he truly is here," he confirmed with himself before turning back to face the stain glassed windows. An eerie light of the moon had invaded their candlelight, creating a haze in the darkness like a spotlight. Stepping over into its path, he fixed his gaze upon brightly lit orb that was beyond the window.
"It's quite alright, my dear, I have a very good feeling about tonight," he said softly, turning back to face Raven with a devilish grin. From the light of the window, his two amber eyes were lit like fiery orbs, as though the sun had bore twins within his eyes, shining brightly to reflect upon the others. "Let them come to us. They've made it this far... they deserve to have a taste of victory before their untimely death. My god has helped in ways not thought possible - and in due time, everyone shall suffer at her hands who has wronged us."
The recognition of her voice sent shivers down his spine. A sudden twist of his hip and eyes widened as he looked upon her with absolute horror on his face. "M-M-MOTHER!?" He exclaimed, and quite loudly at that. Nevermind his previous actions, he was only concerned with his mother's sudden appearance at the castle, and several questions entered his mind. 'How long has she been here and what does she intend to do? She can't be thinking of confronting Eleazar! He will have her killed!'
His leather clad hand swiftly raised to slap against his forehead in a single motion before he rested his head in his palm. His voice started low, climbing in pitch and volume until he was sure that he had her attention. "...mother... what in Seven BLAZING HELLS ARE YOU DOING HERE!?" He said with fiery eyes that burned into his mother's petite and small frame. "I was advised by YOUR council to deal with the root of this problem. YOU were supposed to be at home! Oh gods I don't even want to think of what Eleazar would do if he found you here... How long have you been here? What are you intending to do? You can't talk him down mother....", he hesitated, sure that his next words were going to hurt her, "He is not the same son you once had... Father made sure of that. I doubt that he see's you as his mother any longer."
Gael's throat caught up as he realized just what he had been saying, and how he had been saying it. Obviously it was disrespectful to not only his mother but the current Queen Regent of the Sea Zora. In response he looked away and bit his lip before rubbing the back of his head, "I am sorry mother," he said softly, before turning back to the group and hearing Perseus's protest as well. "I agree, things have changed with this new sudden development," he said referencing his mother's appearance before them, "Perhaps splitting up would be a good idea... in fact, I have a plan."
"The element of surprise could still be on our side. We shall split up, I will retreat with my mother, and rendezvous with my stationed guard at the castle entrance. From there, we will take on the full frontal brute of whatever guards, or thieves he may be hiding within this castle. If we can dispatch the men that block your path, perhaps you three can get in easier."
Gael sighed and scowled slightly, "I was hoping to be able to bring down the problem myself, as it is our kin, but I feel much better knowing his sentence will be dealt by the King of Labrynna....You must succeed My Lord," he said, bowing slightly with his hand over his heart in a respectful bow.
"Mother... I know you must have some animosity over this... but please... he is not your son anymore, and I will do WHATEVER I have to, to keep you from harm." he commented in an almost threatening kind of way. It was true however, he refused to let this cause the failure of the mission and would tie her up and lug her around if that is what it took. "King Perseus will be merciful I am sure and make it fast." he responded softly, referring to his brother's death, as he knew that the King wouldn't risk failure by desire of torturing Eleazar.
"With that, I bid you the best of luck. We will lead the front of the battle, just try to get in there before I do." he ended with a slight chuckle and turned to leave, placing his hands at his hips. "Mother I ask your compliance... don't make me carry you." he said before putting one foot forward and turning back the way he came.
His mind solidified on this new plan of action, and that would mean meeting up with the five men he had stationed downstairs. Though only seven men were no number for comparison to the platoon of soldiers that Eleazar commanded, they worked together fluidly. Hand picked from the barracks, they were Gaels personally trained guard, and together they could never stand opposed. They worked together like a well oiled machine and were all his personal friends.
So when he arrived at the entrance to see all five of his friends slaughtered, he broke.
The smell was the first thing he noticed, and then the pools of crimson liquid that recolored the marble flooring. In the beginning, he didn't do anything, he didn't move, he didn't say anything -- only staring wide eyed at the horrific sight of his friends decimated bodies. A severed head, a body cleaved in two, and the rest had holes through them the size of cannonballs.
It looked like they didn't even stand a split second of a chance.
Gael's eyes welled up, his brows furrowed and his teeth clenched tightly. His fists balled up and he screamed; not one of pain or anguish, but of anger and hatred. It was like the roar of a lion that challenged his opponent in a fierce fight over dominance. And it took everything that his two remaining men had to restrain him and keep him from instantly running off.
"THEY WERE OUR FRIENDS TOO MY LORD!" one shouted to him, his voice cracking from the struggle of even saying it, "We will get our revenge!" he followed, holding onto Gael tightly. "I promise!"
He was like that for a few moments, screaming and kicking to let him go, and eventually he wore himself out and stopped, being allowed to slump to the floor in defeat. "Mother I suggest you leave... things have gotten dangerous and I don't know if I can protect you," he said looking to his mother with tear filled determination, "though no matter what I say, you are going to do what you want. You have always been like that, and never think about how what you are doing affects other people." He stood slowly, and sighed, "So be it."
He approached the bodies, examining them all, and that was when he saw the trail. It was a now dark brown trail of tacky blood that clearly gave them a path to follow. It seems that they ended up taking one of his mean's bodies, and from the looks of it, the one that belonged to the severed head of his friend.
"We have a lead my friends," he said calmly as he started down the path. Surely it was a foolhardy idea, as it would most likely lead straight into the heart of Eleazar's men, but that was what he wanted. He wanted their own blood, and he wanted to taste their resolve with his steel. Unsheathing the sword on his hip, Gael walked down the halls eagerly awaiting to see what monster waited at the end of the trail.
Crimson eyes grew wide with awe as he spoke to her; his delightful smile, and the heat of his bloodthirsty eyes left her feeling flush. She raised her hands and cupped her cheeks softly before responding with a quiet squeal of pleasure, and smiled back at Eleazar. The thought of their enemies begging at their feet was enough to make her skin crawl with excitement, and her Lord's calm and calculated demeanor sent her over the edge with bliss.
Over many years, she had seen and heard of many false prophets, omens of evil, and bloodthirsty rulers; they all lacked in comparison to the man before her. Never has she been so willingly to serve another, and yet she would lay down her life for him so easily and without second thought. It would be impossible to try to understand her fanaticism, and would be easier to look at her capabilities as his servant. If there was one thing she was good at, it was killing, and she would do it without hesitation if her lord commanded it.
She lifted her head back and sighed with happiness, "To lift their spirits before they should meet their maker!" she said before chuckling, "You are most generous My Lord."
Slowly her pale colored fingers lifted the dark purple mask from her face so what she may show the world her blood hungry eyes. They were a bright red, much like the sheikah that surrounded them, but they were different -- colder in a sense, and she grinned widely before bowing in respect, "Allow me to go graciously escort our guests, I have a feeling that they are getting a bit angsty at the lack of our presence."
"But don't worry, my friends and I will keep them company until you can greet them Master," she said before lifting her hands at her sides and manifesting two figures. They were cloaked in dark shadow, but took on the appearance of large serpents that coiled around her slowly. Blood colored liquid dripped from their mouths, falling onto the already red stained carpet, and she ran her hand over one delicately -- like she was soothing it.
"Come my pets, we have guests to see," she said before walking out of the room, her bare feet carrying a trail of warm and sticky blood from the man she stood over previously. She grinned eagerly as she walked the moonlight hallway, and her ears picking up the clash of steel boots against the marble tiles. "Oh you had found out earlier than expected," she said softly to herself, watching Gael and his men stop a few meters away from her.
Raven smiled, noticing his vengeful hunger, and the radiating bloodlust that fumigated the area. "Gaelio Undine, Prince of the Sea Zora. My Master has been expecting you," she called out to him in a cheerful voice, "I understand that you may be in a hurry to see your brother, but let's not be hasty!" she followed before taking a few steps closer.
Gael raised his sword, and closed his eyes before responding, "Are you the monster that slaughtered my men?" he asked, noticing the splattered blood over her robe and the serpents at her side that craved for more. She stopped, raising a hand to rest over her chest, and a gasp suddenly leaving her lips in her false offense to his statement.
"Monster?!" she scoffed, "You come into our home uninvited, and attempt to assassinate My Lord... and I'm the monster..." she stopped and pushed her hair back from over shoulder, "But yes, it was I. Does that make you angry?" she laughed and narrowed her eyes on him.
She knew that Eleazar would be angry if she killed him before he could, but what if she delivered him, on his knees and mentally defeated? Growing excited at the thought of Eleazar's pleasure, she grinned, "Come! Don't you want to exact your revenge!" she yelled, and Gael stepped forward, his eyes filled with hatred for the Twili. But he was stopped at his shoulder, one of his men shaking his head, "Don't play into her hand my prince.." he warned before stepping forward himself.
Raven tilted her head to the side and raised her brow in curiosity, "Oooh since when does a prince let his lackys decide for him.. no matter... Eleazar doesn't want them, so i'll just kill everyone BUT YOU!" She yelled before raising her hand and extending her arm outwards in a signal for her pets.
Together they hissed and dashed forward, their incorporeal bodies levitating above the ground and Gaels men readied their blades. In a swift and decisive action, the serpent opened it's jaws and met the steel blade face on. Yet the blade passed through like the enigma was not even there, and it's jaws locked onto the Zoran man's neck while the other serpent coiled around it's body and smothered him within it's grasp. Gael stood there, stunned as to what just happened, while the other guard leapt in to attack the snake. But once again his sword phased through it effortlessly, not even scratching the creature and he met the mouth of the creature face on.
Mere seconds.
That was all it took, and Gaelio stood there, pale as a ghost, in the face of Raven as she stepped closer. "Now my Prince, if you can be so kind to leave your sword here... and come with me. Your brother awaits you."
Forced to comply, the Prince raised his hands in surrender and dropped his weapon. Though it appeared as cowardice, he knew when he was defeated and it made no sense to get killed here in the hallway, when he could face his brother and hopefully figure out something then. He had to buy time... not just for himself, but for the remaining allies in the castle.
So he walked, followed by the Twili witch and her demonic pets, and turned to face the large doorway that separated him and Eleazar.
Raven wasted no time and opened the door, singing delightly a childish tune, "My Lord~, a gift for you." and she pushed him inside, and forced him on his knees. He grunted softly before raising his gaze to rest upon Eleazar, and meeting his golden eyes with blue. His expression was caked with anger and hatred, and his words were sarcastic and condescending.
"Hello Brother."
