Kokiri Forest was rather calm, A few Kokiri already up playing. The sun beamed in from above through the tree leaves, Hono had her hair down while she slept. The sun flashed into her window, caused her to awaken. She rubbed her eyes and sighed heavily. "Ugh..." Laying her head back she covered her face with a pillow as to block out the sun and maybe fall back asleep. Laying for a few minutes did nothing. The girl leaned up and sighed the pillow falling to the floor. "Damn it... Might as well get up" She mumbled placing her bare feet on the wooden floor. As she stood she cracked her knuckles and did some light stretching. Walking over to some more wooden furniture, this time a dark wood desk with a mirror. The Kokiri grabbed a single hair-tie and did the left side of her hair in the normal pigtail, grabbing the second, sliding it into her hair and tying it around creating the next pigtail completing the pair. Next, she put her small pair of shoes on for her child sized feet. "Oh right, Breakfast!" She remembered going to the center of her room which had a stump which she used for a table, she grabbed onto a red apple and taking a bite out of it. The sweet flavor made her take more and more bites until the core remained.
Rushing outside the girl's home was up in a tree, she chucked the core of the fruit which made a splash landing in a body of water. The girl grabbed hold of the ladder she had, her hand wrapped around the first rail as she made her way down about 10 feet. Her feet now touching the solid ground. She took a deep breath in, "At least it smells nice..." She mumbled. Hono crossed her arms thinking about what she wanted to do today. The girl shrugged to her self and walked down a crude path of rocks, glancing at her fellow Kokiri. "How can they stand this, It's the same thing every day..." The forest dweller thought as she walked to the same body of water which the apple core landed in. She bent over and cupped her hand taking some water in her hand and quickly taking a drink. Hono tapped her foot but got an idea, she quickly rushed back to her home climbing back up the ladder and looked on a bookshelf in her room. "Hmm... Goron...Zora..." She looked at the research books she had. "Ah! Hylian! Haven't looked at this one yet!" Placing the leather bounded book in her odd backpack. Being a little cocky she slid down the ladder, Looking around she saw a stump next to the body of water from earlier. Hono placed her butt on the stump and opened the rather lengthy book on Hylians and began reading.

Her voice was staggered, an obvious signal of her agitated distress as she walked through the wild thickets and over the down branches. "-Ngh Garrett's gonna string me up by my toes!" she exclaimed as she used her rapier to push away a fern that offered little abstinence. With a raise of her hand, she shielded her eyes from the sun that peaked through the trees and glanced around -- with each second however she grew more discouraged. She was supposed to be headed to the Hylian Ruins, to the demolished castle that served as the base of operation for the Heroes of Hyrule; but instead she found herself -- elsewhere. She didn't even know where she was!
"Did I go south instead of north? Or perhaps I turned wrong at the crossroads? GAH! GODDESS SMITE FOR BEING A FOOL!"Slowly but surely, Kura began to pout, and with a sigh of defeat, she placed her hands on her hips and turned around. "I suppose I will just have to go back the way I came..." -- and at steady pace, she tried her best to retrace her steps, but instead of finding herself in familiar territory, she was face to face with a rather different sight. After an hour or so of bravely trekking through the Hylian forests, her cerulean eyes gazed upon a fruition of small houses and buildings that dotted the treescape.
She rubbed her eyes and blinked a few times to make sure it wasn't her imagination. Stories of the immortal children were told to every girl and boy as they grew up, but to actually see their village was a magic trick all by itself. Were they monsters to be fear'd? Friendly hosts that would hospitably see to a passerby? "Well I won't be getting back home by standing here gawking," she said to herself before loudly announcing her presence. "Hello! Anyone? Can anyone help me?" she blurted out, leaving the thick foliage behind her and she tried to straighten herself up.

The Kokiri flipped the pages in her book. She had to do it rather slow due to the crude way the book was crafted. Sliding a bookmark into the book closing the book, Hono put the book back into her backpack. She got off the large stump stepping on some fallen leaves. Her book told her some things about Hylians their pointed ears was one of the easiest ways to tell if someone was one. Hono heard a voice call out it appeared to be a female, Many of her fellow Kokiri rushed to hide behind trees and in their houses to hide from the stranger. Hono, on the other hand, was excited, the village had been very quiet lately.
Hono soon found the lady calling out, She quickly ran to her. Hono didn't get a very good look at her. "Do you need help?" She said once getting closer to the girl, She stood about 3 foot away from her. The brave Kokiri soon studied the stranger, She began walking circles around her to get a good look. "Hmm... Are you a Hylian?" Hono soon finished looking at the brunette. "You're much prettier than my book said." It was normal for Hono to say things like that. "Did you get lost?" Hono wanted to ask many more questions to the girl but would save them for now.

shining bright she is like the sun, waiting there for her fate to come
Kura wasn't sure what she was expecting; A lack of answer, monsters that would reveal themselves from their home, or perhaps even a smiling greeting? Either way, she was still taken by surprise at the young eyed and rather small statured girl that came to her aid. Kura was only several inches taller than the petite figure, but the girl clearly looked more youthful than the blue eyed princess, and in return Kura gave a meek smile to her compliment.
"Yes I am Hylian.... I am Pri-... pretty sure I am lost." She pushed back the lump that grew in her throat and recollected her thoughts. It wouldn't be wise to tell just anyone who she really was. The Rogue Order could have spies anywhere!... even among the Immortal Children. "I was supposed to meet my friends at the Hylian Ruins, but I think I took a wrong turn.. needless to say I am lost as can be. Do you know your way?"
She reached into her bag and pulled out one of her own leather bound books from her studies as a girl. It was a historical tale about a previous Hylian war. "You like books? You can have this one if you help me," she said giving the girl a smile and holding it out to her, "Also if you don't mind me asking, how old are you? I've never met one of your kind."
A few of Hono's kin were watching and observing the mysterious women making sure she was safe. Hono tapped her chin when the lady spoke. "The Ruins? I've been a few times. Haven't been in a hundred or so odd years. I can show you the way..." She said crossing her arms. " The rest of the Kokiri's are pu-" she stopped her self. "you get what I'm saying..." She sighed. " That book would be awesome! Can't wait to have it!" She was very excited for a new read, books were hard to get, and one from a Hylian would be great. She took the book and stuffed it into her bag quickly. Before sliding it back on her back " Just follow me..." The "child" walked past the shop. "There's the shop if you need stuff..." Hono was happy with the Hylian she wasn't annoying like a lot of travelers.
"As for my age..." The Kokiri actually had to think about it, just how OLD was she. "Lemme think... Well, I was around before the Hero of time" She told the Hylian walking out of the village into the lost woods. "So around 800, How old are you? My book says you guys only live till about 100. Is that true?" She had many questions on her mind, how many could she ask and get the answer to? She had 15 minutes to figure out."Oh, I'm Hono make sure you remember it:" The Kokiri said in a rather forcefully tone. "It should take about 15 minutes, Make sure you stay close... If you get lost who knows what would happen~" She smirks seeing how the Hylian would react. The woods was rather thick but the Kokiri went slow and was very familiar with the woods.

shining bright she is like the sun, waiting there for her fate to come
Raising an eyebrow, the princess eyed the young looking girl as she agreed to take the book. Though she would be sad to lose such a good piece of literature, Kura had plenty more back at the ruined castle, and she nearly had that one memorized by now. So even reluctantly, she followed behind the Kokiri as she glanced around the area. It seemed like this was their village within the lost woods, and she thought back to the stories about the Hero and how he grew up here. It was an amusing thought and she smiled softly to herself. "Wait 800?!" Kura gasped and blinked at the young looking girl. 'I guess they really are immortal...' she thought as she rubbed the back of her head and looked at the other Kokiri that popped out to observe the two of them. "Yeah 100 is kinda the longest we live...though even that is uncommon due to illness and such." There are other causes of course, but living to 100 was no easy feat in itself. Even her own mother died at a very young age due to child birth.
"It's nice to meet you Hono, My name is Kura." she responded cheerfully, "Fifteen minutes sounds alot closer than what I was fearing. Thank you very much. " Grateful for the short walk there, Kura thought that it would be easy to pass off simply arriving late and not get scolded by Garrett for not know her way around the forest very well.
"So is it true that if you leave the forest that you will die?" A crude question, but Kura was never one to hold back. She was curious, and an honest person -- her two most redeeming traits. On the other hand she was clumsy and quite forgetful, which are two that her friends never let her live down.
Hono pushed a few leafs out of the way. Listening to the girl talk. "I look good for my age~!" She said in response to her being shocked about her age. Hearing about the illness made her nod. " Oh, I see! We can still die...At least I think... We feel pain and all so enough could kill us" She said to Kura. "But I've never seen one of us die... But I'm always looking around the woods so I could be wrong." She was honest with the girl. "I'm glad you're not annoying like most of the visitors..." The forest dweller said as she kept walking in. "They're always so..." She couldn't think of the word to say. "Pushy? Needy?" She shrugged. The female took a liking to the Hylian, she seemed nice, though Hono did wonder what her friends were doing at the ruins so she spoke up.
"So... Why are your friends at the ruins? Just find it odd... the ruins aren't a place a lot of people go, I did explore it a lot 200 or so years ago!"
The female still wanted to help out to learn some more about Hylians. And maybe while she was at it, she'd find something to do than sitting around in the old forest rotting away. She wondered if she could meet with the girls' friends. Many images ran through her head, different races, cultures. It made her super excited she felt all fuzzy on the inside like a child opening presents. However, on the outside, she didn't show it walking and pushing bushes to the side.
"Ugh, No leaving won't kill us! Just a dumb old story that dumb ass tree tells us! He doesn't want us to leave! I hate it, I wanna leave this stupid place so bad..." SThhe Kokiri was letting her anger out. Her blood was pumping just thinking about the Deku Tree, it was very common for her to do this when she was in town. "He just acts like he can tell me what to do!" She sighed. They were close to the ruins.

shining bright she is like the sun, waiting there for her fate to come
Kura was actually unsure how to answer the inquisitive Kokiri as they gradually walked through the forest. She bit on her bottom lip and rubbed the back of her head as she hesitated, "Yeah I guess you can say that. My friends and I actually live there. We can't like in the city," she said, trying not to give as much information to the stranger. Kura had a bad habit of being too optimistic with people, and after hearing it from Garrett so many times, she tried her best not to openly tell EVERYONE her life's story.
However it was interesting to listen to this girl display her animosity towards the Deku Tree. Wasn't that supposed to be their guardian figure? At least that is what they were taught in the old legends. Speaking of legends, Kura peaked up and made sure to walk close to the girl, "Do you have a fairy? Arn't all Kokiri supposed to have one? I mean-- that is what we are told in the stories, but that can be wrong as well...."
Fading off she looked away with an awkward,"So you want to leave the forest...Why haven't you? Where would you go?" she asked, thinking about her own plans to hopefully leave and live in Lynna city with Perseus. She has duties however, but they promised each other once all the fighting was over that they would be together finally.
The girl walked some more in the forest. They were getting closer, she soon she spoke up. "Can I meet your friends?" She said in a rather calm voice, a few birds, and animals rushed away from the Hylian. "I'd love to see what they're like!" She turned while still walking. She had a real smile on her face, Kura could see the excitement the girl had.
"Fairy... The Deku Tree says I'm not mature enough..." She rolled her eyes finally turning back focusing on walking. "We do have fairies, but I never understood why we need one," With a shrug, she heard her final question. "I don't have anywhere to go...I mean hell I don't know much about the outside world," The wood was rather thick but a clearing was coming up.
"Just up here!" Pushing one final branch out of the way revealing the ruins. The old city fascinated her. "Damn I haven't been here in years!" She chuckled and turned to see if Kura was behind her. Hono had a lot of fun escorting the lady. The only thing that confused her had to be her friends living in the ruins. 'Just who lives in ruins' She shook her head and did let it get to her.
The Deku tree recognized that many of the Kokiri were precious to him but when Hono went missing he then had Marta, Emil's fairy guardian, send a message to the sleeping Emil about the situation. As Emil tried to stay asleep he heard his fairy Marta banging on the window causing him to wake up and get out of bed. "Ughhhh." Emil slowly got up and put some clothes on before opening the window for Marta to get in. She went on about Hono being missing and the Deku Tree wanting someone to go look for her. "Not again! Hono just has to always be rebellious doesn't she?" Emil said as he got on his shoes and put his gear on as he headed down the ladder to see most of the others cowering behind their homes. "What happened here?" One of the cowering Kokiri came from behind their house and told Emil that someone from the outside came here then Hono lead them outside the forest. "Jeez Hono always getting into trouble I see." Emil said as he scratched his head in annoyance. "Okay you guys stay here, I'll go look for her again." Emil saying since he was usually the one in charge of doing so because of the Deku Tree's worries.
Marta then followed Emil as he exited the village in search of Hono. Marta pointed out that the two were heading to the ruins according to the Deku Tree's message to her. "Alright then we'll fly there then! That way we can beat them there." Marta nodded as she fused herself into Emil's body and gave him four light green fairy wings allowing him to take off into the air and fly. As Emil searched from the air he quickly spotted the two and landed in front of them as they had not gotten very far. "Where have you been Hono?! Everyone was worried sick about you especially The Deku Tree!" Emil then looked over the Hylian with Hono. The woman was taller than they were and had long light brown hair with different looking clothing. "Are you the one that stumbled upon our village? My name is Emil and I suppose it was good that you didn't get lost in the woods and turn into a Stalfos, that would have been bad." Marta separated herself from Emil's body looking over the woman as she flew around her. "That's Marta she's my fairy guardian and the reason I was able to fly just now." Emil looked to Hono with an annoyed look on his face. "You really should come back soon Hono, well according to The Deku Tree at least. But I think I'll stick around to see how this all turns out, that and I haven't been out of the village in a good while so I would be happy to tag along with you two." Emil said with a smile as his wings faded into nothingness after his fairy Marta defused with him.

shining bright she is like the sun, waiting there for her fate to come
"I um suppose you can meet them... they will probably be surprised, I doubt that many of them have meet another Kokiri," she said thinking just about how well the interaction between Garrett and her will go. 'Probably better than her and Mal or Zelda' she thought before pushing her hair behind her ears in an exhausted sigh. It was pleasing to hear that they were close and Kura smiled brightly to see the Ruins just ahead. Life seemed to spark back into her and she clasped her hands in front of her in happiness. Suddenly a voice behind them had got her attention, except it was not so much behind, but rather above. Kura glanced to see another small Kokiri flying through the air and her eyes grew wide. 'Flying?' "AH! Yes I am sorry if I disturbed you or caused any trouble! It's just that I was lost and Hono here was nice enough to lead me back home. AH! not that I live here, well I technically do but it's because im not allowed back in the castle and--" she stopped suddenly feeling like she has started to say to much in her frantic panic over Emil showing up. "I really hope I haven't caused you any trouble Hono.." she said looking between the small girl and boy. She was curious as to why he was so concerned with Hono, but figured that it was probably due to the Deku Tree -- the guardian that she had no idea about in the slightest.
"I mean... if you both are coming, I suppose I need to explain why we live in the Ruin's huh..." she said rubbing the back of her head and looking down at the two of them. "To be honest, it's the guild hall for the Heroes of Hyrule... not that you heard of them... we are just a group of people that are trying to protect the people you know?... Not that I can do that... I can barely get through the forest without getting lost!"
"Alright!" Hono jumped up and down happily with joy. "I can't wait". She gulped wondering how she would introduce her self. She looked up to see a Kokiri flying towards them. Emil, the girl never really had fond feelings for him, she sighed seeing him. She tried to stay calm not wanting to lash out. She had assumed the Deku Tree sent the boy to find her, it really annoyed her.
"Damn that tree!" Hono said getting very annoyed by Emil already. "Leave us alone!" She barked at Emil angrily but sighed some more trying to calm down. " Ugh! Of course, you ruin my good time! You're the worst Emil..." She shouted crossing her arms. She began listening to Kura "No you're not causing me any trouble!" The Kokiri gave Kura reassurance. Kura began to tell them the truth. Heroes of Hyrule the name echoed through her head. "I want in!" She said rather quickly. "Is that something I can do?!" The "child" asked Kura, she had that look on her face yet again an extremely excited one.
Emil looked to the strange woman and saw she was all flustered when she had spoke. Well considering he flew just a bit ago Emil wasn't very surprised by her reaction. At the point where she was trying to explain herself Emil waved it off with his hand motioning that it was alright. "No you were not causing trouble, this happens all the time actually." Emil said looking to Hono with a light smirk. "Now now Hono don't be mad at me for doing what's best for the village. You run away because you hate being cooped up in the village all the time, which is understandable but you should also understand The Deku Tree despite being a little strict cares about our safety." Emil rubbed his cheek a tad with his finger as he was trying to get the words out right. "Heroes of Hyrule? Isn't that one of those guilds or something?" Emil asked curiously.
At Hono's response to Kura, the woman who introduced herself as so, Emil just sighed as he heard it. "Well I suppose if Hono joined I would have more customers at my shop. Those guild members would need supplies I bet." Emil smiled at Kura with that reply. Emil looked back to the forest temple and then back to the two. "I think The Deku Tree wouldn't mind this turn of events. He's the nicest person I know! Well he's a tree but you get the idea." Emil said as he chuckled some more to himself. "Either way I'm guessing he'd keep your guild safe from anything dangerous and welcome them in the village as well." Emil chuckled then spoke again. "And Hono this would make things a lot less boring for you I bet." Emil said as he smiled to her with his suggestion.

shining bright she is like the sun, waiting there for her fate to come
To her surprise, both Hono, and this newcomer -- Emil, were rather complacent with their guild taking up residence close by. On top of that, Hono was so sure that joining the Heroes was a right idea for her, and Emil did little to argue against it. Instead they had further questions or were making assumptions about the status of the guild.
Perhaps if they knew what they really did.
"You guys have no idea what's going on outside this forest do you?"Kura rubbed the back of her head as she nervously looked back and forth from the Kokiri.
"Listen, I am sure there is alot you need to know about Hyrule and just what it is that our guild does.... Oh but don't worry! We aren't bandits or robbers or nothing bad like that!" she said, suddenly realizing just how bad it all started to sound. "Gah just come in first and I'll explain there." Kura barked before walking towards the ruins on the distance.
For the most part, the ruins were nothing more than that, but once you walked farther into where the castle was, the area burst to life. There were tents, makeshift stables, and other oddities. A couple of fires always burned and there were a few people walking about. None of them were Mal, or Garrett.... and their absence only made her worry about her upcoming lecture on safety.
Kura stopped just outside the innermost of the ruined castle, taking a seat on a cut log next to a small fire. It was the day time, so the heat wasn't necessary, but they were kept low for precaution. She sighed and folded her arms, "Okay, so we are called the Heroes of Hyrule for just that. We are trying to help people... specifically those in Castle Town and Hyrule... I am-..." she paused, eyeing the two of them, "Just how much do you know about any recent events in the kingdom?" she asked blatantly. If they rarely left the forest, or talked to outsiders.... it was likely that they had no idea what has happened in the last decade or so. Ignorance truly is bliss after all.
With a heavy sigh, Hono crossed her arm. She really wished she knew what was out in Hyrule, but due to being confined in the forest. "Yeah, I think it would be fun!" she agreed with Emil for once even though it was pretty rare for that to happen. "Last thing I remember was that Civil War." The Kokiri rubbed her head, "Please tell me it hasn't gotten worst!" The forest child was really worried thinking about the war. Walking through the ruins made her smile. "I never saw this before!" She jumped up and down happily. Looking at the crude stables, the horses were rather big but her curiosity peaked.
She looked around the ruined castle, all the antics made her eyes grow wide. "Help people! Let me in damn it! This is what I've been waiting for! I mean it's destiny! I met you for a reason! Come on Kura!" A loud slam was heard as the girl slammed her hand on a table. The Kokiri had a loud voice which echoed through the ruins, her voice sounded aggressive but Kura began to ask if they knew anything about recent events. "Nope, Like I said before, the Civil war's the last thing I remember." She said with a soft sigh. The thought of mass murder in the war made her queasy. Yet the thought of being part of the Heroes of Hyrule made her adrenaline pump a little, slashing at trees back home may just come in handy.
