TOAKOAM
Many people fear chaos. I do not. It makes us all equal.

PERSONALITY
Toakoam is rather different as far as most Gerudo go. While she does have the stereotypical bravery and blunt manner of speaking of Gerudo women that have gone on the hunt for a husband, she is inherently different. While she did leave her homeland, it was because she wanted to explore the world, having become weary of a lack of variety. In fact, Curiosity is something that seems to define Toa, as she is constantly wandering the world and finding out new things. However, as a person, she seems to be very energetic, honest, and even enthusiastic about everything she does.
Unfortunately..that honesty takes the form of pure bluntness. To that end, she actually tends to offend people that she talks to. This is something that the members of her guild are rather used to..at least, the ones who know her are. What tends to throw people off about Toa is how flexible she is in terms of adjusting to a situation. While she was rather unused to the whole of the society outside of the Gerudo Desert, she adjusted exceedingly quickly. Unfortunately..like every person, she has a negative side to her. She is intensely reckless, always ending up in some kind of danger due to her lack of patience and care. As such, she has grown to be a rather tough woman, with more bravery than most people would see out of someone like her. And yet..that bravery sometimes seems to border on arrogance. While normally she is very dismissive of her own abilities, when her patience has run thin to the ground, and she is in full on reckless abandon mode, she speaks of herself like she is untouchable.
Of course, she has secrets of her own. None of which are hugely world changing, nor are any of them ones that would ruin her standing anywhere. She just is somewhat secretive, tending to hold things that she views as important enough close to the vest. However, there is one thing that she does not keep a secret. When compared to the way things were before, Toakoam claims to be more partial to the current state of Hyrule, over the way it was ruled before. When asked to explain why, she states that chaos is the 'great equalizer', and that it allows for true changes to happen. It is for that very reason that she ended up joining Rogue Order, rather than seeking out the Hyrule 'Heroes'. In truth, she has never truly liked the idea of one family being all powerful just by virtue of birth, and would much prefer for the status of ruler to be able to be taken by anyone with the courage and power to take it for themselves in a duel.
While all of this sounds rather serious, Toa is actually surprisingly lighthearted. She has a sense of humor with such a massive variety that nobody really knows if she has one type of comedy that she really likes, or if she merely is trying to pick up as much of it as possible. Of course, most of her lighthearted nature comes from the way she was raised. She did grow up among the other gerudo, of course. But this was during a time where they had pulled away from any and all outside contact. While that was a tense time for her people, things were not as bleak as one would have expected. As a whole..most people consider Toa to be a good enough person.

HISTORY
Like many Gerudo, Toakoam's story takes place in the Gerudo Desert. However, we are getting ahead of ourselves. Where Toakoam's story truly begins, is with her mother: Usana. Like every Gerudo woman who came of age, Usana left the desert at one point, that way she could find a partner of her own. After leaving the Desert, Usana was met with many struggles. Many of those struggles stemmed from the fact that she had very little money of her own, as much of it was spent gathering the items she would need to survive outside of the desert. For a few years, she worked at a tavern as one of the more exotic barmaids living in Hateno Village.
For about five years, she lived there and made very little headway into finding love with anyone. While working as a barmaid with her own exotic nature was very good at earning her enough cash to make a living, it had made her a touch more cynical than most Gerudo were. She had only seen the worst of men, and that had made her a little less starry eyed about the prospect of love as a whole. Of course, after another year of waiting, she found love in an unexpected place. The very tavern that she had been working at.
While she had been mostly dismissive of most people at her workplace, there was one person who worked there that was different. His name was Nizan Jinhai, and he was the bartender for the tavern that she worked at. Over the course of a year, the pair of workers eventually found love in each other. Of course, over time they took their relationship further and further, until eventually Nizan made it clear that he couldn't actually support her, that he barely had the money to support himself, just as she did.
Still, she knew that he was saying it to be better for her. So, while they did agree that they couldn't afford to take their relationship any further than it already had gone, he did give Usana a gift..the sword his father and grandfather had used. It turned out that originally, he hailed from what was a family of executioners. However, he had left his home of Castle Town to get away from such a dark profession. Of course, Usana eventually made her way back to the Gerudo desert...carrying two gifts. The gift that Nizan had given her, and the gift of life.
This is where Toakoam's story starts. Born of a failed relationship, Toa was heavily aware of the rules about men within the city, as her father came to visit her several times during her childhood. He never had too much money, so he always came with some minor things from his family, several weapons and practical items for life in the desert. Of course, over the years she lived in the Gerudo Fortress, she learned everything that she could about the past of the Gerudo, along with assimilating the culture of her people..one thing of which ended up creating a minor rift between her father and herself, as she openly dismissed worship of Hylia, while her mother was always quiet about it.
Over the years however, Toa noticed a pattern repeat itself over and over again in what history was written down. The current royal family continued to have failure after failure, and always relied on some random nobody over and over again. However, she originally didn't really mind it. She merely continued her training as a warrior of the Gerudo, proving her skill with two handed weapons such as the Golden Claymore. Eventually, the time came for her to leave her home. On that day, her mother gave her a few things to make her journeys fare better than her own did.
The first gift had been extra clothes, that way she had various outfits to change into. The second was..actually rather surprising. Rather than being forced to pay for the Golden Claymore that she used in her training, Usana provided Toakoam with a weapon of similar proportions.
The Executioner Sword that she had been given. Of course, Toa knew what her mother was supposed to have done with that sword. It was meant to be sold to fund the journey back to the place that she called home.
As it turned out however, Usana merely kept it hidden. And for her final gift, she gave Toa enough rupees for her to get to the nearest village, which was the same one that Usana herself had been forced to stop at. However..unlike her mother, Toa had a little bit more to go off of than her mother, who only had the ability to work at the Tavern, Toakoam had combat skill. As such, she took odd jobs for about six months. During that time, she heard various rumors about a guild. One that was bringing something that made her curious. Change. Instead of having to rely on the town guards everywhere..they took matters into their own hands.
That actually interested her. Within the course of about a month, Toakoam was actually able to track down this guild. It was called Rogue Order. She actually did join it after a few hours of deliberation. And for the course of a few years, vigilante work became the norm for her.
However, even she was affected by all of the chaos that was going on at the time, even though Rogue Order had no actual contact with any of the royal family or any of the truly world changing events at the time..at least..not until the Golden Goddesses appeared again. After the triforce was shattered, many members of Rogue Order gained magic. Toakoam was not an exception to this rule.
After the Golden Goddesses vanished, Toa herself found that she had gained the ability to manipulate electricity. At this point in time, things seemed to shift. All of them became more and more brazen in their battles against authority..up until the ultimate shift. The assault on Hyrule Castle. While she hadn't done any of the actual work, having merely been tearing through the vanguard, she had done her part. Unfortunately for her, that was the last operation that she actually took part in.
She heard of the taking of Symmetry City..but she was actually one of the normal members, rather than any of the expendable cogs that they had control over. As of late, she has been spending her time wandering Castle Town, watching the changes that they have wrought. What she will do from here on out, even she doesn't know. But it is going to be interesting.
APPEARANCE
MAGIC
+ Super Strength: Because they are tall warrior women, they are very strong and able to fight back at equal or stronger strength of warrior men.
+ Heat Resistance: The Gerudo live in the desert, and have thrived in it for centuries. Because of this, they are able to withstand the scorching heat of the sun - this does not, however, give them resistance to fire.
Magnulsi: Toa's magical ability. This allows her to call forth lightning and shape it to her bidding to deal minor damage to an opponent.
WEAPONS
Name: Desloation
Rank: Common
Weapon Type: Executioner's Greatsword
Handling: Two Handed Weapon
Description: Very few people would expect to see a Gerudo using a weapon not native to their desert homeland. After all, the Gerudo make amazing weapons. While once upon a time, Toa did indeed wield a Golden Claymore. However, this was back before she left the Desert. When she told her mother that she was leaving to venture into the world outside of the desert, she was given Desolation as a gift. This greatsword is of the Executioner's Style. As such, it is a weapon most suited to hacking at things, rather than slashing. Desloation is a grand total of one hundred and seventy centimeters in length, with the blade making up the vast majority of that length, as it is one hundred and thirty two centimeters in length, with the handle being the remaining thirty eight centimeters of length. While Toa is quite adept at using this weapon, it should be noted that there are no quillions on it, allowing an opponent's blade to slide all the way down to her arms, should she not be careful.
EXTRAS
The only other items of any importance to Toa are two instruments that she picked up recently: The Flute and the harp. Each of these instruments are very small, so she carries them in a small bag that is normally slung across her shoulder, along with any other small thing she might need.
