TITLE/NICKNAME: Isa/Izzy; "Wandering Sheikah"; "Ashen-Haired Sword Master" AGE: 24 RACE: Sheikah GENDER: Female SEXUALITY: Bisexual KINGDOM: Termina TRIFORCE: Courage THEME: Lost in Thoughts All Alone
Isadora is a lively member of no specific society. A Sheikah that was raised on the outskirts of cities, she developed a healthy combination of friendliness and understanding that her life was not meant for long-term commitments. This did not stop her from making friends as she grew up in every town and village she visited across Termina. Isadora has a rather outwardly friendly personality, able to talk to almost anyone; her rather good-hearted nature makes her seem trustworthy and it has, on more than one occasion, won her better offers from shopkeepers. She has an ease in which she converses with others and a rather casual nature to the world around her, not one for formalities. She is, however, a lone sellsword. Often in her travels, she offers assistance for monsters and bandits alike and drives them away from villages for a small fee. Giving her a trustworthy rumor to spread around, but she does these jobs for money, and money is a contributing factor to much of Isadora's personality at times. Willing to do important jobs for free, she will often ask that something in return is given. She has a life to live on her own of course, and this is her job.
When the rare occasion strikes Isadora and she has extra money in her pocket, she can be a bit frivolous. Often, the woman wanders through markets until she finds an intriguing trinket or exotic food and will spend what extra cash she has on hand in a heartbeat.
For as long as she can remember, Isadora has been trained to hold a sword, and as such is determined to work herself to the bone in order to be a good swordsman. Often she spends much of her free time practicing with her blade, and when possible will train with others. Often in large towns and cities, she finds guardsmen and mercenaries who don't mind crossing blades with the young woman. Whether or not they think she'll beat them. Sometimes there's money involved, and sometimes she walks away with a full purse.
As much of her life is on the road, she has learned to trust in one constant; her horse Cimeron, a chestnut stallion that has taken her almost everywhere she's been since she was a teenager. She would never travel without him, and as she's learned to care for his every need she often helps care for horses in towns she stays in. Enjoying the presence of those magnificent creatures.
Years of travel and battle have taught the woman many things: that skirts are impossible to wear in the long term, completely incapable of being fought in so she discards them entirely. That when she loses, she makes no money and can't afford to live. She has become a bit of a sore loser because of this. And when traveling, traveling anywhere near or around water is the biggest hassle so she near refuses to unless she has no choice. Cimeron has always backed her up on this.
Being alone as a teenager and adult has also taught Isadora that while townspeople almost everywhere are goodnatured and will house you when you offer assistance, being alone is lonely. But independence is important. Isadora is fiercely independent, so much so that when being offered assistance she will refuse politely only to regret it sometime later. But truly being alone is awful, so though her life is of temporary residences and travel, Isadora tries to make friends everywhere she goes, to dull the feeling.

Isadora was born to two Sheikah parents who had spent much of their life traveling Termina. Such was her life. Her parents were excellent fighters and often traveled in search of work as personal security and monster hunters, raising their child in many cultures and in the arms of nature. Since an early age, Isadora has learned to travel by wind direction, knew multiple languages, and has seen the world in different lights. Her parents were loving if a bit hectic in their lives. They lived from one coin purse to another and often at the gracious hands of strangers. Though her parents loved her, they could not always provide a perfect life for their only daughter, but Isadora had never cared for a richer life, there was a different richness to hers.
When Isadora was still young, but old enough to stand and hold a sword on her own her father had her trained. She practiced the art of the blade during any spare time they had, and often her father had others capable with a blade teach their daughter when he was unable. She was trained to keep herself healthy, how to take care of wounds, and care for a blade. Her first blade, whom she named "Starlight" for its distinct silvery sheen, never left her side. Her mother once having to even remove the sheathed weapon from her sleeping daughters' arms. This blade followed her every move until an unfortunate incident where she and her parents had traveled with a caravan of merchants and carnival members. A storm had hit, hard, when they were near the canyons and the weapon was lost amidst chaos. The young Isadora had been inconsolable.
Tragedy strikes later in her life though, one to dwarf the loss of her sword. She was a young teenager when a job had gone wrong for her parents and Isadora, left with an innkeeper at the nearby town had waited several hours longer than the job had intended before going with a handful of townspeople to track down her parents. She had not been allowed to see her parents until after the townsfolk had brought them back to be buried. Buried they were in the town's small cemetery.
Afterward, Isadora sold their horses and bought Cimerion before taking off from the town and continuing where her parents had left off. She had taken her father's sword--Severance-- before she'd gone, the blade's golden hue a bit aged but the blade still well kept even after years. Along with the sword, she took the spare cloak her mother had packed away, a royal blue fabric pinned with a silver clasp.
These days, Isadora is an adult who leads a life of travel and adventure on her own, jumping from town to town working for the people there before heading on her way once more. While not quite famous, in a few towns she has frequented many times over her life she has been given a few nicknames based on her skills with a blade. Lately, the Sheikah woman has bee frequenting the area around Clocktown, doing odd jobs in the forest and hills.
Isadora is a rather petite figured woman, standing around five feet and four inches with a lean body from years of swordplay. Though she remains smaller than many others, she can impose quite the figure when she straightens herself and keeps a presence of someone able to defend themselves around at all times. She has fair skinned that seasonally turns a shade or two darker in the warm summer months and the characteristic crimson eyes of most Sheikah. She has never cut her hair, and as such, it falls down to her lower back in loose waves and is an ashen-blond color, a bit of hair framing around her face, to which she often keeps some sort of headband, clip, or pin in it to keep it out of her way. Often she braids it in a crown around her head when she fights.
Traveling means packing light, which means Isadora carries with her a few sets of clothing that she wears regularly. Her most common outfit is a pair of slim trousers that have an overlay of thin metallic plates on the shins and knees that attach over sturdy boots. Often a loose blouse that is tucked into the pants and then overlayed with a similarly scaled vest/chest piece and the royal blue cloak draped over one shoulder. Often when she knows she'll be fighting, Isadora adds silver gauntlets and gloves to her arms for protection. Often her more casual outfit is that of comfortable trousers and loose but pretty blouses with collars and scarves. And formal occasions she owns one rather lovely skirt, and only one.
Endurance Amplifying Magic Lasts between 1-3 minutes/or until too much damage is taken When in dire straits, Isadora possesses a magical ability to take an incredible amount of damage for a short period of time, giving her the upper edge in what can be considered a far too difficult fight under normal circumstances. Isadora will tank several hits from an enemy before the magic wears off and rebounds chaotically around the immediate area causing minimal damage.
+ Night Vision: All Sheikah are able to see in the dark if they possess crimson colored eyes; however, they will glow in the darkness, making Sheikah a target for attacks if the others cannot see in the shadows.
+ Lens of Truth: Sheikah have a natural ability to resist illusionary magic of equal or lower rank of their arcane trait.
+ Weak to Light: Sheikah are weak to light attacks due to their natural ability to thrive with shadow based magic. Due to this, they will take extra damage to light magic.
Severance is a 90cm long blade of dull gold with an inscription down the center of one side in a Sheikah script. The handle is about another 20cm including the hand-carved pommel, leather wrapped and worn from age and use. This blade had been with Isadora's father for quite some time before his death and has accompanied his daughter ever since. The guard is a similar gold color and is swept upwards similar to a claw.
Worn map & journal - an old leatherbound journal she's kept for several years. An old folded up and scribbled on map lies inside of it for help when traveling Termina. Metal/jewel-encrusted hairpin - a hairpin she had found in a marketplace, it's silver with a bright green gem in it that she wears in her hair to keep it out of her face.
