DESTINED TO SEEK LIFE BEYOND THE SHORE JUST OUT OF REACH -- FLOWING LIKE TIME THE PATH IS YOURS TO CLIMB
The marketplace of Clocktown was abuzz with the peak of the day activities. All around, stalls were set up and piled high with merchants shouting out their deals and offerings of everything from exotic treats to lovingly crafted trinkets. Here was where one could find the life of a town, sitting just outside the shadow of the massive clock tower that was so central to the culture here, in the heart of Termina.
It was here that Isadora lingered, she'd already been in the town a few more days than normal, though she often stopped by Clocktown between villages and especially when supplies drifted low in her travels, the young woman had never spent so much time in a city. But here was the best market in all of Termina, hundreds of shops and people milling around the petite girl could get lost in the crowds for hours and often find herself being pushed to a completely different end of the market than where she had meant to go.
She couldn't always see over all the heads and shoulders of people shoving through, but as she moved through the crowd she could hear the different shopkeeps.
Eventually, all the voices began to meld together as Isadora pushed her way through, finally breaking out from the crowd of people into an open spot close to the center of town. The air lightened here, and people were more scattered some even standing and milling around in conversation. Here she straightened herself, fixing the dove grey collared blouse and sky blue scarf she had tucked into brown comfortable trousers and boots. Though it was warm, the sun heating the air and people around, Isadora wore her hair loose, a simple ribbon keeping it out of her face.
She was ready to wade back into the crowd of people, there was a stall that was here without fail that sold the most delicious desserts from all around Termina. When she could, Isadora often found herself at that stall buying something sweet with the spare coin she had from jobs. And lately, there had been quite the number of jobs in the area. Another reason she had stuck around Clocktown longer than normal, there had been more jobs available to her and she had taken on as many as she could. As of today though, she was exhausted.
There had been two small roving sets of bandits she had scared off, and then some monsters from the nearby woods had roamed in closer to the town than normal and she had joined some vigilant townsfolk in helping keep them away from the major roads. She was very tired, but her coin purse was also very full.
Straightening herself, and resting a hand on the sheathed sword at her hip, Isadora steeled herself as she waded back into the crowd, doing well to move between people and avoid getting caught in some reverse current of people, only to find herself smacking straight into the form of someone much taller than her.
