Oh how Asthar wanted to burst out in laughter. The sheer look Perseus gave him was admittedly something Asthar was definitely not expecting but it wasn’t something odd or out of place for Perseus. Perseus was a smart individual but there were things that he was absolutely clueless about and I was a bit fun poking at that a bit. Asthar didn’t wish to really attract any attention from Kura as he spoke about attracting her so he halted himself from laughing and maintained a calm and cool demeanor.
The three were seated with Kura sitting across from him and Perseus sitting by his side. The confusion on Perseus’s face was noticed by Asthar, but it made him wonder whether the younger king actually understood what he was planning. Such confusion faded from Perseus quickly and the discussion about Zelda and her endeavors begun.
It was obviously no surprise that things were getting a bit tough for Zelda. Supplies were getting low and things were not changing in the slightest. For four years things had not changed in the slightest in regards to Hyrule and Asthar was wondering whether the princess had truly woken from her despair. The red eyed king merely closed his eyes calmly as he took a cup of tea with his free hand, taking a sip as he listened to Perseus’s explanation. Asthar did agree that Zelda needed to get moving, but that was a gamble in itself. To reveal herself will only make things more difficult for her. True she may gain allies and make some progress, but the enemies of the former princess would now have a target and objective. She was at least gutsy to start off with her cause in Holodrum that was for sure.
His eyes still remained silent and a nonchalant smile rested on his face as the discussion between the two continued on until it begun to come to a close with Perseus being his usual gentlemanly self. Charming, kind and sweet, Perseus truly had what it took to claim most women’s heart he desired, but the only thing that truly was holding him back was himself. Even with all these qualities Asthar was going to have a difficult time finding him the love he deserved. At the very least he needed to know the connection between Percy and the young maiden should he wish to push the two together.
Asthar raised his tea cup to his face, but did not take a sip just yet. As if on cue his eyes opened a bit and with a sly smirk his eyes looked to the side directly at Perseus the moment the younger king gained his revelation about Asthar’s goal. “Tis as I said, I am sure you already figured out by now…” Asthar murmured back quietly closing his eyes nonchalantly with his smile remaining. “Ah however you two make quite a cute pair so I guess I’ll give you a chance at her…I’ll even assist you with whatever concern you have…” Asthar continued to murmur before taking a sip from his tea before lowering the cup from his lips a tad. “That being said a treasure such as her is a waste to not make an attempt on so tick tock and don’t dawdle too long now…” Asthar murmured before finally lowering his cup down and turned his attention to Kura. “Such a kind gentleman Percy can be, wouldn’t you say Kura?” Asthar said looking to the girl across from him with a calm smile. If he could at the very least get something to spark between them then that would be good. It didn’t have to be big at all; something tiny would do just fine.
It was a bit disappointing that Kura had appeared once more around during his visit. Sure it was nice to see her again after all that madness that had occurred during the hero’s ceremony but she most likely only came due to official business reasoning. Asthar never really got to interact with the second youngest child of Hyrule, but at the very least he may get the chance to do so now.
Asthar was hoping to get Perseus to relax a bit more and ease up due to how much work he put into the kingdom. When he realized that Perseus was more open to do something other than speak about official work it excited Asthar a tad as it just meant more fun for the two of them. Even if they didn’t find a girl for the younger king it was always the thill and the laughs of the search that was a great consolation prize. It was a shame that was derailed, but he really didn’t mind and if anything he was quite curious about why the girl was here in general.
Arms still crossed he took notice that she did seem quite cute, but at that moment a quick nudge caused his attention over at Percy as he was told of Zelda’s warning. “Oh?” Asthar said softly as he glanced over at him with a bit of intrigue. With the plans for discussion set, the three begun to walk towards their next destination. During this moment Asthar decided to seize the chance and with his eyes closed and a grin he quickly reached up to the king’s side and placed his hand on Perseus’s shoulder “So Zelda says she is off limits to me… But the thing is she didn’t say Kura was off limits to you now did she? Better act fast before I do…” Asthar whispered to him as he continued to smile nonchalantly with his eyes closed before releasing Perseus and continued to walk alongside him casually.
Kura was quite cute indeed, but Asthar had no intention of making an attempt, especially after listening to that little jealous tone in Perseus’s voice earlier. There was some interest in Perseus’s voice and even if he was wrong it was good enough to go along with. The boy needed a little push and perhaps rushing him abit to act would help. Either this would end up beautifully or just a disaster. Whatever the case would be Asthar was there for his bro.
Labrynna was always a beautiful place with a very unique scenery that Holodrum and Hyrule lacked. Looking out into the scenery merely made Asthar’s desire to explore grew a bit, but there was always time for that later. For now he took a seat of Percy’s side and crossed his legs as he rested his elbow on the armrest of his chair and rested his check gently on his up risen knuckle with eyes close and a calm and cool smile on his face.
Upon hearing Perseus’s outburst Asthar could help but laugh pretty loud as he still held the fellow king in the headlock, trying his best not to squeeze Percy’s neck hard as he held him. “Oh gods Perks you crack me up!” Asthar said as he continued to laugh finding the reaction to be quite hilarious. In reality he did know that Perseus did have affection for Zelda and it was pretty strong to boot, but at the very least Percy was not acting clingy and Asthar was glad that Perseus was making an attempt to move on from that girl. Hoping that woman would return the same feelings was a hopeless endeavor. That woman’s heart belonged to another and will always be tied to that man even if he had perished.
Grinning happily like a little child, Asthar’s attention would soon be drawn over to a newcomer as it seemed to be a messenger. While still holding Percy in the headlock he looked over at the messenger curiously and eventually released Percy as he listened to what the man had to say. “Oh? Princess?” Asthar could help but mutter out loud as he crossed his arms and glanced over at Perseus who seemed to be worried.
Perseus looked over at him apologizing that his business with Kura must be important, but Asthar merely gave him a nod to show it was fine with it. In a way Asthar was quite curious about what brought the young girl over to Labrynna as well so he did wish to see what this was all about. Ever since his father had begun to suffer his illness, the visists of the 14 year old Asthar to Hyrule had been frequent during those times. Of course at those times it was mostly for discussions about the relationship of Hyrule and Holodrum, but at the same time it allowed the young Asthar to form a friendship with Daphnes. At the same time he did get to play with the young Zelda as well and get to know about the family from Daphnes.
It had been quite a long time since he had seen little Kura so that only made his curiosity grow a bit more as he waited for the girl to be let in. Though Asthar still stood beside Perseus he did stand a bit away in case the two needed their own space to do whatever business they wanted to do. Eventually Kura did enter and Asthar couldn’t help but hold his chin and raise an eyebrow as he stared at the girl. “Oh my…I'm surprised, the kid really has grown into quite the beauty wouldn’t you say Percy?” Asthar said to Perseus before glancing back over at Kura and closed his eyes and smiled a gentle smile as he tilted his head slightly“Pleasure to see you Kura” Asthar said nonchalantly while Perseus was bowing.
A deep sigh was released from the lips of Asthar as he closed his eyes and just shook his head disappointed. He had already expected such a comment to be uttered Perseus and was even ready for it, but despite hearing that he still couldn’t help but feel disappointed in younger king. With that Asthar removed his hand from the man’s shoulder and sighed once more as he scratched the back of his head and stood in front of his companion.
“It’s really admirable that you place so much devotion into the kingdom, but that’s a problem as well…you put too much into it…” Asthar said as he lowered his hand and crossed his arms and opened his eyes once more with a disappointed frown on his face “you really need to lighten up Percy…Like I said earlier its fine and dandy to merely devote yourself to the kingdom, but if you devote yourself too much into it you lose what little freedom you have and then lose who you are” Asthar said. Perseus was king for a fair share of time and there was barely an age gap between them, but Asthar felt that when it came to the throne he was the senior.
With that said Asthar couldn’t help but close his eyes and smile as he nodded his head “hmm though to marry because of a bond...good! To marry due to a bond instead of just beauty is the best path to follow!” Asthar said. Though it was true he had wooed the hearts of numerous women, he couldn’t say he truly fell for a woman. Though he was the one talking about how Percy needed a woman, he himself never really had a meaningful relationship before and he too was getting old as well. If he was to find a woman that would be by his side for all his life, it was surely due to a bond instead of just some mere appearance. Perhaps the time where he found a woman to love may come eventually, but for now Asthar was more so focused on helping out his bro as that was much more fun.
“You know it does please me to know that you are at the very least still into women…hell I was beginning to think your interests were shifting to men or something…” Asther said with a chuckle “and if that were the case I wouldn’t be able to be of help as men aren’t my forte” Asthar said before suddenly rushing to Perseus’s side and held the man he considered a brother in a headlock “Either way its decided! It’s time we find you a nice lady!” Asthar said with a big grin.
Perseus was always one that was quite the prim and proper individual. It was to be expected from one of royalty and it was something that Asthar did like about the fellow king, but it did make Asthar feel a bit guilty about how casual he could be most of the time. Ever since Zelda was ousted from the throne of Hyrule Asthar and Perseus were the only two monarchs left really in power. Of course there was a chance that he and Perseus might join the same fate of the princess, but Asthar sure as hell was not going to go down easy.
Holodrum and Labrynna held an age old hatred for each other; however the work to ease that hatred had begun. King Galadhion and King Rikel surely made things worse, but now that those two were gone things were starting move forward. In a way, all the crap that started with Galadhion and Seith allowed Asthar to befriend Perseus and it was a good start in getting the two kingdoms to get along. Fighting alongside one another as comrades in arms allowed Asthar to see Percy more so as a brother and in general he did get a bit attached to the little rag tag group that foolishly desired to beat the god.
Perseus began to speak and Asthar opened his eyes still smiling “ah indeed it has been” Asthar said as he watched Perseus walk towards him and speak on about his lady friends, causing the young king to close his eyes and chuckle a bit “yes well Labrynna does hold its fair share of beauties…” Asthar said before suddenly pulling the two women to stand in front of him and held their hand “Alas, time is fleeting” Asthar said as he closed his eyes calmly and brought their hands to his lips and gently kissed the top of their hand. “Our time has come for us to part, we have our own paths we must follow and as I follow my own you must do the same…May we hope our paths intertwine once more” Asthar said before releasing their hands. The women were saddened as their time with the king had come to an end, but they knew their place and now that Asthar told them to leave it definitely was not best to merely stand around while the monarchs spoke.
“Hmm…should work on my lines…that was cheesy as hell…” Asthar said holding his chin in thought as he began to walk forward towards Perseus before eventually closing his eyes and grinning “aaannyways” Asthar said as he spread out his arm and gave the fellow king a quick hug before releasing and then rested his arm over Perseus’s shoulders “so tell me! Found a future missus yet? You’re not getting any younger you know!” Asthar said with his eyes still closed and a childish grin plastered on his face
To finally be in Labrynna after so long truly felt a bit nice as the young king walked along his path. While Asthar did have his fair share of visits to Labrynna those visits weren’t always the most pleasant of visits. King Galadhion had and immense influence on his people and Asthar’s visits tended to never really be the most welcoming both from royalty and people. With the old man’s stubborn nature it didn’t help Asthar’s cause as well. With the sheer animosity Asthar used to feel at that time he was quite the fool for visiting so much, but even then he always arrived with a mere grin in an attempt to speak deals between the two kingdoms. Of course no deals were ever really made and Asthar didn’t get to visit and annoy the old man as much as he wanted, but regardless that was all in the past now.
Things had felt so different now that Perseus had claimed the throne and Asthar could at the very least say that Labrynna was more pleasant to be in. The people were much more welcoming however this alone was not enough to fully judge the people of Labrynna. Asthar could only assume the land had its own issues and problems and merely walking about wasn’t going to allow him to take notice of these issues. He truly did wish to explore about the area, but the two guards standing by his side were annoying adamant about escorting him to Perseus.
A sigh was let out as Asthar continued on until at last the trio arrived at the castle and were welcomed enthusiastically. Before he knew it he was led into the castle and directed over towards the throne room to greet king Perseus. In a way Asthar was quite bored and expected the discussion he was to have with Perseus to be dull as well. From what he was expecting it was mostly going be a discussion on the status of the kingdom and things like that and while they were important discussions, it still didn’t help that they were dull. It was a bit unfair to assume it would instantly be dull, but Perseus really did need to lighten up.
A loud yawn was let out as he closed his eyes and covered his mouth, but one eye opened up and peeked over to the side and noticed a delightful sight. Two pretty maidens were standing by the side staring upon him clearly with affection. Asthar’s legs came to a halt and he glanced over at the two maidens with a charming smile. The guards and guide glanced over at him questioning why exactly the young king had stopped walking, but Asthar merely ignored the three as his attention was caught by the two maidens. A sly smirk formed and after a wink it began…
It wasn’t long, but Asthar eventually reached the throne room to finally speak with Perseus. Asthar’s attire was mostly rather simple, wearing a white shirt, black pants and boots, but he was decorated with a golden necklace and golden bracelets as well as some golden earrings as well. What was not simple was the regal thick red furred cloak he wore, but what was peculiar about that was that cloak did not just cover the young king alone. The cloak covered the shoulders of not just one person, but three as two maidens stood by Asthar’s side clinging to his arms blissfully. “Yo! Perky! Long time no see!” Asthar said cheerfully with his eye closed and a happy grin.
There was nothing but silent, a silence that was as cold and dreadful as the realm he resided in. It was an absolute silence, one that cemented the feeling of true emptiness the realm held. No matter how hard he tried he could never truly hear nor see a single thing. It was almost as if he was floating in pure nothing, neither dead or alive, but even still there were things he could feel that told him he was still alive. The sheer pain that his body felt, the rattling of the chains that confined his arms and legs with each movement he made, and the sound of the haggard breaths he released with each breath was a pure sign that he was alive. This was truly his punishment, the punishment belonging to the former hero named Link.
Link accepted this punishment and he could not regret the choice he made at the time. The choice to call upon the gods themselves was the only thing he could do at that time. The desperation he felt, to feel so powerless and to finally know that in the end he was able to save the woman that his heart was devoted to, it was truly a feeling of joy. It set his heart at ease to leave as such and in a way he could rest despite this punishment, but rest was something he could not fully do. As his eyes would shut he would glimpse visions, things that he could truly wish he could call mere dreams. These visions were blurry and faint, but he was able to tell that things were not right in the land of Hyrule. These visions utilized the dreams of the princess Zelda and were the only gateway he could use to connect him to the land he once called home. Though hard to see, he could feel the sadness the princess felt and that was enough for him.
As he sat in the cell eventually the surrounding area had begun to distort, shifting and twisting as Link begun to feel the cold metal cuffs holding his limps fade away along with the surrounding area. The area had altered itself until at last the distortion came to an end. His body shook and quivered, but even so Link continued to move and rose to his feet. This phenomenon was nothing new to him and he had gotten used to it. He could never tell when it would happen, but at times his cell would change and distort and transform into a new area, almost as if he was teleported away. Unchained but still never free, Link would find himself able to move about in such an area. There were times he had to traverse pitch black forests, scorching lands and even raging waters, but each land held one similar thing. In each land vicious beasts roamed free, seeking out the only true sign of life they could devour.
Perhaps it was a test of the goddesses that Link had to go through each time he was released from his cell. Ever since he was banished to the sacred realm he found himself wearing new garment and held nothing but a single shimmering broadsword. In these moments of “freedom” all that awaited Link was combat. With blade in hand he slew whatever beats appeared before him and when all was done and all the beasts were slain he’d find himself once more in the cold embrace of his cell. It was a vicious cycle without gain.
The former knight glanced upwards as he stared upon the dusk lit sky, a rare sight for him in the empty land. The land that was spread out around him was an arena like area that obviously held no signs of live save for the beasts that creeped nearby. Perhaps it was best he just perished and entered and eternal slumber, but no matter how tempting it sounded he just could not do such a thing just yet. He couldn’t leave that woman to grieve as the land he loved so dearly fell into discord. He didn’t want to be the hero, he just wanted do whatever he could in any little way to help. With his resolve strong he drew the blade that he placed his trust and charged towards the beasts the goddesses had sent for him to fight. Perhaps the goddesses still had some semblance of hope for the young man and perhaps that was the reason they gave him these “tests”. Whether or not this was true or not it motivated Link and strengthened his mind. He would return to Hyrule, he would stand by Zelda’s side and he would do whatever it took to protect the peace.
….and at last he gained that freedom… …but what would he do now that he gained his freedom?
It was a question that burned through the blond haired man’s head, something he had never really thought of in true depth. Though it had not been from his hands, he had finally gained the freedom he desired and finally he finally stood upon the land of Hyrule once more. A warm breeze blew by and Link couldn’t help but merely close his eyes as raise his head as his hair waved from the wind. Being able to once again feel the warmth of the sun and listen to the sound of nature itself was a soothing feeling. It truly felt as if he was dreaming and that he would once again return to that dreary cell, but after standing so long out reality began to hit him.
It hadn’t been long at all ever since he was released from his prison. Everything was quite a blur at that moment. Perhaps it was the sheer fatigue he felt, but once he got out he could only recall staring before Zelda once more and giving her a weak smile before falling unconscious. He didn’t know how many days he had been out cold but the moment he did awaken he departed from the bed he slept in and made his way outside. He had no plan on what he was to do next, but all he did do at moment was merely openin his eyes and stare out aimlessly from a distance at the Hyrule Castle.
Time was something that Link could not keep track of during his imprisonment and for him he did not know just how long it had been since that fated war. The woman he saw when he was released must have been Zelda; at least that was what he believed when he saw her. While she did look much different that the last time he saw her, he knew it had to of been her. Seeing her face after so long truly was a relief and perhaps that was what allowed him to rest so peacefully after so long.
It would have been nice to merely live away the rest of his days in peace, but Link couldn’t just ignore what was going on. There was something wrong, something that had caused discord. The dreams of Zelda were enough to sell him to this belief. He was a fool to truly believe that everything was resolved as he and Seith were sealed away, but he was not going to be the fool he was before. He would not be that boy who blindly accepted a title he did not deserve just yet. If he fought it would not be because of duty or title, but because of what he truly believed in.
His left hand reached and held the hilt of the broadsword he had fought with during his trials and with it in his grasp he unsheathed the blade. With his right hand he held the hilt as well as his eyes stared at the blade. The sword that had shone with a radiant light had now dulled ever since returning back to the world of Hyrule. In others eyes it was nothing more than a simple sword that looked stronger than it actually was, but Link didn’t mind such a thing. For him he would use this blade until he found himself worthy to wield his most beloved blade that rested deep within the temple of time.
With the blade’s edge near to his face, Link lowered his head and closed his eyes calmly. His focus was on the blade before him and even then he did not pay attention to his surrounds, even if there were others nearby. “Even if my life shall expire…I shall fight” Link declared.
Ever since the foundation of the noble kingdom of Holodrum, the state of what was once such a grand kingdom and been sullen and dragged through the dirt with each generation that had been born. Pride lead to haughtiness and with each king or queen born they were raised with that of a snobbish attitude. Holodrum had been home of the corrupt, yet there still remained numerous that only desired a stable and peaceful kingdom. With each generation that was born, it seemed that desire was merely a dream, especially under the rule of King Rikel. Cruel, selfish, and cunning were the words to describe Rikel. The rich praised him while the poor despised him with great hatred. Rikel never gave care to the poor and only focused on the rich, but eventually this changed as Rikel begun to see that more and more people were beginning to oppose the laws and rebel. Fear took over that man and eventually, he took a step to quell those fears. [break][break] It was here that Rikel chose a wife, not of royalty or wealth, but merely a poor woman of no worth in society. The woman was a young shiekah woman and in a land where the proud and noble shiekah who truly believed in the gods were treated with scorn by the rich, it was a sign of huge change when this woman was chosen to be the king’s wife. A union between the rich and the poor, it was truly something the people envisioned would be a sign of greater times to come. This vision would only skyrocket the very moment the prince was born. [break][break] In the eyes of the people, they described the love between the king and queen to be something pure and to be admired. The young prince was both trained in both the ways of royalty and also the ways of the common folk. Things seem so wondrous and peaceful in the kingdom of Holodrum, but that was a mere fantasy that the people were swept up in. As time passed the kind and gentle queen had grown cold and in no time at all, merely 4 years, things returned back to how it was before the marriage. The kingdom slowly reverted back to its selfish and snobby ways and Asthar was heavily taught through intense training in order to be the next king. [break][break] As time passed on things grew worse as Rikel had become cruel. Heavy taxes were set and pleas were ignored. Those with power or wealth were considered good friends to Rikel and his choice to ignore Labyrnna and Hyrule was something that weakened their bond and even insulted the two. [break][break] Despite all the changes that had been occurring to the kingdom things did not change for the prince. The young and curious child found himself sneaking out of the castle numerous times. Though it didn’t appear so, in the eyes of the common folk, Asthar had been harshly trained by his father and numerous other tutors in many lessons that would prepare the young child to be the future king. He did all he could to escape the stressful and brutal castle and found solace in the rundown streets. It was here he was able to act like a child and live without worries. Though each moment was momentary he enjoyed each visit. He had grown quite close with the people and despite his harsh training, he kept a cheerful personality that the people enjoyed. He began to bond more with the Sheikah people of Holodrum, learning all that he could from them, embracing his Sheikah heritage that his father disliked and his mother had began to distance herself from. [break][break] Everything remained stagnant in the kingdom of Holodrum until 4 years later when the queen was mysteriously murdered. With the queen's death, King Rikel was enraged and things turned for the worst. Innocents were persecuted and the rich just continued to benefit. Though the woman had grown cold Asthar cared deeply about his mother and the loss of his mother was a hard blow. [break][break] Unfortunately with the queen’s death, Asthar’s lessons grew far stricter and harsh. Lessons that pushed him mentally and physically, Asthar did not even have much time to even grieve for his mother as he had to stay strong otherwise he’d truly felt he would die. It was as if his father had truly desired to get rid of him, pushing him while not even giving care if he came out of these lessons unscathed. Threats to his life only increased and it became more apparent his father had a hand in, most likely wishing to replace him with another child. This was rather apparent as the king would mostly be seen with new mistresses. Regardless of this fact Asthar merely saw this as a challenge and kept on accepting these challenges and pushed forward until five years had passed and the king came upon a sickness. [break][break] With each moment the king found himself growing far more ill at a slow pace and the people began to believe that the king was getting what he deserved. During this time it was the 13-year-old Asthar who took the duties of his father while the man would lie in his bed. Asthar worked as the public face for the kingdom and began making decisions for the kingdom while unfortunately following the ideals of the king. Despite this, he made as much changes behind the kings back as he could, but in the end, the kingdom was still under Rikel’s rule and the man was too stubborn to just allow things to go how Asthar wished it. Ill or not, Rikel would get out of bed to make sure to maintain his authority. In the end, the most Asthar could do was comfort the people and reforge a bond between Holodrum and Hyrule by befriending King Daphnes. Asthar made a small attempt at Labrynna but those attempts always ended poorly. [break][break] Rikel suffered his illness for 4 straight years and then something drastic occurred, an event that was something hard to forget. Rikel was told that there was no hope for him, that the disease that plagued him was rapidly deteriorating his body. Even after listening to his trusted physicians, paranoia began to plague him as he began to feel that this was all a murder attempt. He trusted nobody and despite being restrained into the castle he found a way out. Frantic, the man ran out hysterically trying to find a doctor, and then it happened. As the king stood in the middle of the town square his body began to decay rapidly. The scene was a horrid sight and was something that caused even the king's worst enemies to pity the man’s final moment. With that Rikel’s life came to an end and the 17-year-old Asthar was left with the throne. It was obvious that the king’s death was not natural and no matter how much they searched they could not find who the cause of this was. [break][break] In the years following Asthar completely made a change to the government of Holodrum. The government became more in tune with the commoners and balance was slowly starting to form, but it was not as easy as it sounded. It was difficult to erase the stigma that had clouded Holodrum so negatively and there were still numerous who felt they still had a right to do as they pleased, but despite that things were actually looking up. During this time Asthar managed to fully repair the bond between Hyrule and Holodrum as well as get quite close with the royal family of Hyrule. His attempts with Labrynna continued to end poorly as he just could not come to agreements with King Galadhion. For Asthar it didn’t matter what their kingdom’s past bonds were, Asthar just could not stand that man. [break][break] 6 years after his coronation Asthar would eventually find himself gaining an invitation to the coronation of the fabled hero of legend. Though the people of Holodrum were usually distant from the gods, Asthar did hold interest in such a thing, albeit he did hide such a face. He took quite an interest in the news of this hero and with this Asthar chose to attend the ceremony. When the glorious moment had come Asthar would bear witness to seeing a simple knight named Link being crowned as a hero. It was a rather fun time, however things changed the moment king Galadhion took the stage. [break][break] Asthar could usually read the old man’s moves, but the next move he made caught him off guard. The old man twisted King Daphnes’s last will and utilized it for his own benefit by utilizing the authority the deceased king gave him. Until Zelda claimed the throne king Galadhion would have authority over the kingdom of Hyrule. With this power, Galadion forced Zelda to marry his son prince Perseus otherwise he would execute the newly coronated hero who she loved. It was clear as day to Asthar what this meant. A war was coming and Holodrum was next. [break][break] When the time for the wedding had arrived, chaos ensued as the princess had faked her death and allowed her allies to escape Hyrule and claim refuge in Holodrum. Together with her allies, Asthar worked closely with all of them in order to deal with the threat of Galadhion. It was during this moment that the god Seith was also revived as well. A war against Seith was waged and during this time Zelda revealed that she had been hiding among them all along. At the end of the war, everything turned for the worst as they could not overpower Seith. With things looking grim a miracle occurred as the three golden goddesses appeared before them to bring the war to a close. In the end, the goddesses punished the three key players in this war by banishing Seith and Link and removing the Triforce from Zelda. Asthar watched as the full triforce shattered into pieces and scattered all about. As the triforce dispersed Asthar would find himself taking grasp of one of the shards of the Triforce of power. With their task complete the goddess left, leaving an emptiness on the battlefield. [break][break] What came next was pure chaos as Zelda was evicted from the throne by her own people and the kingdom became more disorderly. Asthar himself provided any little help for Zelda out of consideration of his dear friend but in the end, he chose not to meddle too much. For him, this was Zelda’s mess she needed to clean and he desired to see what path Hyrule would take.
SPELL OR ITEM NAME:[break] + Dragon King's Regalia: A power of strengthening that had been inherited from the bloodline of Zeltich.
