"How long do you think this will last though?" Zelda spoke rather impatiently to Caelum's words of encouragement. She turned to face him, a desperate gleam in her eyes for any validation as to why this fate had fallen upon them. Truthfully, she felt like she was slipping away. She spent the better part of four years bottling up everything and hiding it behind the closed doors of the Temple of Time, not wishing to be disturbed as she mourned in private. There was no one she's really spoken to about her worries, and while she tried her hardest to contain her frustration and keep composure while among others... today didn't seem to be working so well. [break] [break] "I don't know what else we can do, Cael, I'm running thin as it is," her voice wavered. "No one will listen to me--they think I'm a failure. I was ripped from the throne as proof of that! The only way for us to truly win..." she trailed off for a moment. She couldn't even find words to speak without sounding completely desperate for validation of her loss. "If the people were able to see that the hero was alive, perhaps they'd be more willing to step up," she finally finished. [break] [break] It was such an odd loss for her. Despite being lovers, the young heir had grown up putting this "hero" on a pedestal. From the ancient texts she studied, to the stories that were passed on through the generations, the story of the Legendary Hero fascinated her. There was never an era where the world could not be without one to save it. He never faltered and never failed. [break] [break] Until now. [break] [break] It was an unhealthy obsession. Perhaps it was because she projected her own failures onto this idea, one that her own father had buried into her brain long ago. Perhaps it was because she still hasn't heard the voices of the gods since the incident. She had the visions of an omen, and then silence. And then they appeared to Link's aid when he was fatally wounded, and then silence. All the praying, all the ritual, all for nothing. And yet Link was simply handed the title at the ripe age of twenty. Never having a history of knowing he had a role to play in destiny, and yet it was given to him on a silver platter. The Master Sword accepted him with no complication. [break] [break] It was because of this, that she felt she was useless to her own Kingdom, and put such a heavy burden on the hero. He was the only sign of progression throughout this entire chain of events, while she only could hear the whispers of a goddess in a dream. She felt she had nothing to offer, and now the only one who could slay a god with the proper training was left to rot in a prison of another realm. [break] [break] "I just wish there was something I could do to show people that there is hope," she mumbled quietly.

It had been a long day for the young heiress. Despite the sun not fading into the horizon just yet, it felt as though too many hours had passed, her dedication and determination falling into error, as it usually did, when it came to finding those who would swear fealty to her cause. Everyone was afraid - and for good reason. While she was not bold enough to venture into the main cities across Hyrule, she had made her way to many small villages within the area, far enough to stay out of the ears of those who may breath a word of her survival to the enemies that had taken siege of the castle. [break] [break] They were all very afraid though, and she couldn't blame them. With all the failures she's endured, why would they want to give an oath to blind hope that everything will be okay? She had spent so much of her time dedicated to this destiny, and yet she had nothing to show for it. She was an heir of failure and the crumble of her own kingdom. And as if she had not already endured enough, she had to swallow the hate that the gossip mongers spread of her hero. The first hero to fail. But, no matter how they went about it, no matter how many times she played the scenarios in her head, even if they had discovered him sooner... they were always set up for failure. The fate in which they were now living was inevitable. [break] [break] Zelda had rested her bare feet in the sand as the shallow tide of water slowly crept upon her toes. Wind grazing her hair lightly, she closed her eyes, smelling the freshwater and pine as it filled her senses. There were not many words spoken between Zelda and her brother. It seemed that he was tired, and she was as well. They hadn't spoken much of anything recently though. Four years passed since the War of Gods, and while he swore to protect her and followed her until the end, she still felt a rift in their relationship, as though she barely knew him as a person anymore. While he was out on the field, supporting her cause and helping with supply runs... what was she doing? Sitting by that damned sword, mourning for her lost hero. For four years.. [break] [break] She was so afraid of failing again, that she refused to leave its side, too afraid to go out into the world to send a message of hope to her people. She was a coward, at best. She wasn't quite sure what had changed. Perhaps she had finally realized that her fear was prolonging the fate of her kingdom. She had only now begun to slowly show her face to the world again. She felt that now was the right time to announce the return of her family. [break] [break]"I'm sure the next village will be more promising," she assured Caelum, trying to not sound as disappointed in their hesitation to aid their cause. "I can understand their apprehension though... a family thought to be dead for years, suddenly returning and asking for able bodies to join them without knowing what their numbers are? I'd be afraid, too."

[attr="class","textie"]Four years of grief and desperation, shrouded by the pressure and humility that came with the ending of a god--the young queen was surrounded by those she loved, the people who followed her to her death, despite her lack of effort that lead to the aftermath of her exile from the throne. She spent the better part of the last few years searching for answers--anything that would lead to the rescue of her beloved, but the only answer seemed to be the collection of every single shard--wherever those may be. It seemed impossible, and many laughed in her face at her fruitless efforts, but she persevered. While she continued to find another way, she led forward the Heroes to search every crevice of the land, finding any kind of clues to where stray shards may be hidden. [break] [break]The shards were still few and far between for the guild, as they still had a long way to go before they could truly reunite the relic of the gods. It seemed to be the only way--for the Master Sword refused to lift for anyone it did not deem worthy to call its master, and with him trapped away, they were in a stand still, the doors of time sealed shut as the faint glow of the blade mocked the heir, being so close and able for release, and yet not allowing those who tried to take it to arms. She got lucky this time. [break] [break]And still, it was a secret she would take to the grave--a problem she would solve on her own, as the old woman had told her--and it needed to be true--the sacrifices she made would be reversible. For now, it was simply a waiting game, when the time was right. Still, the questions had blurred in her mind. So many people had asked her how she managed to enter. But she couldn't respond--at least--not truthfully. "It was the work of her divinity," she would say--and while that part was true, it was not whole. Entering the realm, and pulling Link from the torture was the easy part--but leading up to that had been nothing but pain, exhaustion, and patience. [break] [break]Truthfully, the whole process had haunted her. The pain left a ghost of its intensity latched to her brain, as she often awoke in a sweat, dreaming of her body twisting and her skin felt like flames to parchment--scattering across her body. The pain would vanish in an instance though, and it just seemed to be all in her head. The woman had mentioned she would experience a mental struggle for a bit of time, but it would pass. Now that she has been able to rest, and the hero has had his time to adjust to his environment, many of the the Heroes had insisted on throwing a feast in celebration. [break] [break] Zelda sat at a large table with her allies, Link to her side as many cheered and talked among themselves in laughter. A day of rejoice, the young hylian decided to wear her hair down, accompanied by a crown of white and purple flowers. A lavender dress of silk had hugged her tiny frame, her hands gently rested on the table as she looked around, a tired gaze to those whose morale seemed to boost in the sight of the hero, she suddenly felt a tight grip on her leg, blinking several times as she snapped back to the reality of the room. She turned to the hero, who looked absolutely terrified. [break] [break]"What... what's wrong, Link?" she murmured slightly. He spoke of the room hating him, to which a had her concern had painted into deeper worry, her hand lightly clasping over the top of his own. "What do you mean..? No one hates you, everyone is so overjoyed that you're back!" she spoke just low enough for only him to hear, but it seemed to do no effort as he suddenly clasped into himself, taking to a position of fear in his chair as he began to whisper--stuttering words she could barely understand. "Link--Link, it's okay--" [break] [break]He suddenly had stood up, the table jerking slightly as the dish that rested in front of him shattered to the ground, to which she gasped and the room went silent. He quickly exited the hall, disappearing as the door closed, to which all confused faces turned to the princess. "I'm... I'm so sorry, please excuse us," she said, awe washing over her face as she removed herself from her seat and quickly followed after the young man. It was dark out, although the area was lit with torches, signalling the several stable buildings that were made use of, and she could see the form of the hero just beyond the shadows as she quickly followed after him. "Link--wait, please talk to me!" she shouted desperately to get his attention.

Ay this app is rad. You are appointed 4 extra Stat Points!
But I do have a question about your weapon -
"A light blue sword with gold dots around the hilt of the blade and white colored steel edges. Enchanted with an holy aura that radiates around the sword causing holy damage to foes and monsters alike."
What exactly is the holy damage? How exactly does it work? Does it cut through dark magic? Or some kind of other magic? How exactly does holy damage work differently than a normal blow?
