Appearing from the trees, a large figure approached from the shadows, his face slowly coming into the light - eyes as bright as the sun and earthy skin. Her eyes widened when she realized that it was the chieftain of the goron people, and her old friend, Konungr. As he spoke, she listened carefully and nodded, relieving herself of her cautious posture. [break] [break]"I understand that many are still fighting. I am trying to gather the remainder of those who are loyal, to give them somewhere safe to stay until we have enough resource and planning before engaging. I've spent the last few years searching for shards, and have given one to each of my followers as a token of my trust. Our plan is to gather them and reclaim the Triforce, and therefore regain our rights to this land. It belongs to all of us." she explained. [break] [break]As he said her name, he slowly bowed down, to which she smiled lightly, shaking her head. "Friend, you need not bow to no one. I consider you my equal." she spoke softly with affection. "I should be the one to bow, as you still hold your title as chieftain. I cannot call myself a queen, nor heir to anything in the state of this land." she murmured as she looked down. There was a short silence between the two and she looked back up to the trees as the sky poked through. [break] [break]"This kingdom will be ours once more. I've made arrangements with King Perseus and King Asthar to send any that believe in our cause to come join us in our search. It is a matter of earning the trust of those who still reside within the city. The numbers of those struck with greed are the ones who are holding Hyrule's fate in the moment."

Several wolves had made their presence known from the shadow of snow thickened trees, entering the clearing as she watched them cautiously. Showing their teeth, they growled violently as she raised her sword high. The numbness of her fingers made her grip loosened slightly, her nerves rising high as she may not protect herself to her fullest potential. "Stay back..." she murmured lightly with a waver in her voice as she shivered. [break] [break]Suddenly a darkened figure appeared from the side, as she turned quickly to see a pair of fierce eyes watching her carefully. Something familiar resonated with her as she watched him, turning back to the wolves and noticing they held themselves a bit differently as he approached. They back to back away hesitantly, and as she turned back to face the man, it suddenly came to her. It was Ehrandil. Someone she hadn't seen in nearly four years. When he had turned to the wolves and dismissed them, they seemed to listen with haste, immediately taking for the woods in cower. [break] [break]Lowering her sword, she sheathed it slowly as she let out a breath in relief. Looking to Ehrandil, she was about to thank him, when he snapped out his question before walking past her, into the doors of the outpost. Looking through the door, she watched him slowly, a melancholy knot filling her stomach as she simply stood in the doorway for a moment, unsure if she was truly welcome or not. Things had not been the same between them since the civil war had broken out and the castle in siege. [break] [break]She took a slow step inside, closing the door behind her gently as not to let the warm air escape the post. Looking around slowly before collecting her thoughts once more, she looked back to Ehrandil carefully and pursed her lips. The tension was thick, clouding her thoughts and making it hard to know how she should respond. She did not expect to be loved by everyone. She knew there were many that angered her, despite much of this being out of her control. They had both lost loved ones to war, and they both seemed to be her fault, that much was to her understanding. [break] [break]"I had business with Asthar, and he directed me come through the Woods of Winter on my travels back to avoid any bandits. He told me to visit this outpost should night come before I made it to any villages." she spoke softly, her voice rasp from the iced air. Had she known that these outposts were for the Waystriders, maybe she would have avoided them. She knew that they still held her accountable for all that Hyrule has lost. [break] [break]She had no idea what to say. Asthar had mentioned possible alignment with the Waystriders once more, but she had explained that the relationship between her and them was beginning to wither due to the outcome of the war. Many were lost, and many blamed her. Despite fighting beside them, and Link being the one to call forth the gods... she willingly took blame for it all. She did not want anyone else to take the fall. She did not want others to think of the hero as a failure. If there was hope for his return, then she wanted him to be welcomed, not ostracized.

I plan on making an area for both guild creation and plotting/tracking under the creation station, I just haven't gotten around to doing it yet cause work. I'll work on that today!
And that would be awesome! Tbh I hate the cbox we have because its kind of bulky. And yay chat mods! that would be awesome.

It was so cold. There truly were mystical forces behind these friged woodlands. An everlasting winter, when the rest of the land was scorched by the summer air, Zelda could never quite understand it. Zelda had been summoned by King Asthar as means of discussions of further alliances with The Heroes of Hyrule, and she had sent back her men to return the supplies they were gifted to the base. While Asthar had insisted on sending her back with some of his men, she assured him she could handle her own if something went amiss. [break] [break]This was before the carriage had been destroyed. Stuck in a thick layer of snow and ice, the carriage wheels had been overworked and snapped right off of the axle. Now Zelda was left with a horse, and no shelter. Dusk would arrive soon, and the young queen was striding along an icy trail that she hoped was in the correct direction. With the thick trees and cloudy skies... it seemed almost impossible for her to tell which direction she truly may be going. [break] [break]She wore her thick heroes attire, a blue dress with white and gold lace, covered by metal chest and waist plates, as she covered herself with a long, wool cloak with fur around the neck and ends to trap her body heat. In an attempt to keep her body temperature moderated, she had pulled her hair from the braided bun she usually kept, letting her hair fall down over her ears and back. She surely looked distressed, from the tangled mess her hair had become, and her flushed cheeks from the frigid hours she spent alone. [break] [break]Asthar had pinpointed several safe locations to take shelter in, though he didn't quite explain what they all were. He simply told her that they were of his affiliates and that they knew that she was a friend to welcome. As she slowly approached a light in the distance, she had hoped that this was one of those people. She made for the path rather quickly, her horse picking up the speed as she approached a rather large structure, smoke pluming out from the top. As she dismounted the horse, she slowly went to approach the door, when she suddenly heard the growls of several beasts near by. She froze, her hands immediately taking hold of her sword, as she began scanning the area quickly. Something was watching her.

The mortal goddess continued her tread on the uneven path that the forest led her. In some ways, it was relaxing to be able to travel on her own - since her removal, she found herself surrounded by the protection of others at every moment, the luxury of privacy no longer available to her. With so many members of the guild on a mission, it was much easier to sneak away from their base unheard, and it seemed to be fateful, as the wind was surely leading her somewhere. [break] [break]The sound of wind hitting trees creating a whisper in the air, her ears fixated on the noises that lived within the shadows of the glade. Taking a few steps forward on her journey, she suddenly froze in place - a voice that sounded familiar, and yet incredibly foreign, as if she could no longer place it, had called out from the shadows beyond the end of the path's clearing. Zelda's eyes had dilated as she tried to read the shadows of the man, wondering if he truly meant no harm, or if this was all deceit. [break] [break]Gripping her sword at the holt tightly, Zelda moved her other hand to grasp it more tightly, lifting it from the sheath ever so slightly, as to pull it out swiftly if battle were to commence. "I am alone," Zelda spoke clearly - her voice ringing in the forest like a serene melody. "No one has seen me come this far, you'll be safe as long as you do not raise your weapon against me." she explained calmly. [break] [break]Why couldn't she place his voice? There was something so curious about it, as if she had heard it many times before, and then suddenly not at all. After all this time, were there really still people out there who were searching for her? How did he find her? Who would have told him of where she was now hiding?

It was quiet within the woodlands today. The air was still, as the silence of the world made even the sound of a leaf falling from a tree echo. Deep in the grove of the forest, a clearing emerged, where the ruins of a city once full of life aged slowly, entangled with the roots of young trees. It was now a place called home to the Royal Family of Hyrule, as well as their loyal followers who continued to fight beside them. Fairies loomed around the area, in curiosity of these foreigners. The destruction of Ganondorf's forces was still ripe with sorrow for many of the aged creatures that resided within the perimeter. [break] [break]Many members of the Heroes of Hyrule had gone to scout the outer rim of the forest, heading out toward larger communities and villages nearby to trade goods and seek information for more shards of the Triforce. Zelda had decided to stay behind, a feeling of lingering suspicion laced over her thoughts that gave her the urge to wait, as if something was calling out to her. She spent most of this time within the crumbled Temple of Time, where she watched over the Master Sword. A dormant blade, fixed to the pedestal, untouched since the night of war that left many dead, and many others wounded physically and mentally. [break] [break]Many have tried pulling the blade since that wicked night, but it would not budge. It was peculiar to Zelda, as those who are worthy of being a hero are accepted by the blade quite instantly. But the blade seemed to be waiting, as if for the return of the Hero once more. It was the bit of hope Zelda had left. It had to mean something. [break] [break]After leaving the temple, Zelda looked past the clearing and into the trees as a gust of wind picked up. It seemed strange for such stale weather, as she hummed to herself in wonder. With her sword at her hilt, her hand brushed against it for reassurance as she began to stride toward the forest path. Perhaps there was something waiting for her.

[break] Zelda was born into the royal family of Hyrule, chosen by the Goddess of Wisdom to hold the spirit of Hylia. The middle child of four, her father of brown hair and mother of red were quite surprised when they found that their child was born with golden blonde locks - a sign that she was given the divinity from the goddess. A reincarnation of many princesses within the royal family to date, it was no secret that she was destined for greatness. Though the roll of the Goddess and Hero had not been needed for centuries, she would be a proud and kind ruler of this country and give hope to the lands around them. [break][break] Growing up, Zelda was quite the troublemaker. Because she was praised as the goddess reborn, she was treated somewhat differently than her brother and sisters, being overly protected and kept from the outside world. She'd always sneak off when no one was looking and she gave her nursemaid a run for her money. She'd always find ways to sneak off into the town, pretending to be a peasant and getting herself mixed in with the crowd - this is how she got to know many people within the kingdom walls. Even now, she takes the time to get herself out there to help her people, even if it worries her father. [break][break] Her mother died when she was very young and she doesn't have many memories of her. Growing up, the nursemaid always appeared as the motherly figure to her, so she often came to her when she needed advice or was grieving. Her father was not much for support emotionally - only in ensuring that she always followed her duties. Following the death of her mother, King Daphnes had become much more strict with Zelda's rigorous daily routines to show her dedication to her destiny. For years with nothing to show for it, Zelda often felt that she only disappointed him. She traveled far and wide as a young adult, praying at various shrines and sacred springs, but nothing seemed to ever quite awaken this "power" within her. [break][break] As time passed with no results, the King began to grow sicker, and sicker. Because of his illness, he became much less understanding and much harder on her - as though he knew his days were numbered and that if she didn't step up properly, she'd be a failed heir. This pressure broke Zelda down, causing the two of them to argue often, and yet, still she followed her duties without question, dedicating all of her time to prayer and study. [break][break] It was then, one night which seemed like any other, she had awoken from her sleep after having experienced the worst nightmare she had ever encountered. It felt so real to her, that perhaps... it was. She quickly left her chamber, marching down to her father's room, awakening him to her discovery. She was so thrilled that her divine powers were finally making an effort to aid her, but to her dismay, he was underwhelmed - even annoyed by her words. "A dream is not a holy epiphany," was all he would say. He sent her away, refusing to listen to any more. [break][break]
THE DEATH OF A KING AND NEW LEGACY
[break] Crushed that perhaps he may have been right, Zelda had gone back to sleep. What started as one bad dream had slowly turned itself into an unexpected turn of events though - when the dream had began to reoccur every night. Finally, this had to mean something. After several nights of this dream haunting her, she felt it was finally time to approach her father once more... however, she was then suddenly given the news that he had passed away in his sleep. Everything Zelda had worked toward seemed to suddenly matter less. [break][break] Zelda locked herself within her room for days, the visions haunting her for nights on end. She tried to ignore it, thinking it only to be a deeper meaning behind her stress she had endured for years, until one night, after the first month of mourning, the very Goddess of Wisdom had come to her in her dream, warning her of a darkness that would spread over the land if she did not start to heed the calls. [break][break] Zelda's mindset changed completely after this. Confiding to her nursemaid about it, she immediately believed her and promised to help her find the Hero of Destiny. Zelda called for all able bodied men to join the ranks of the Hyrule Army, hoping that this would be the next step into discovering the hero. When she then began warning the people of her vision, they had immediately stepped in to create their own coalitions to grow stronger and defeat this evil force, not believing a hero would come. [break][break] Little did Zelda know, she already had met the hero on several occasions. He was a young Hylian knight, and they had spoken before as children when she used to sneak out of the castle. [break][break] Having another accidental run in with the young knight, the two had accidentally bumped into each other, and to her surprise, it was as though a rush of energy had surged through her body and she suddenly knew that he was the person she was looking for. It was as though they had known each other their entire lives despite having such space between their meetings. [break][break]
THE HERO HAS BEEN CHOSEN
[break] And now that they knew who their hero was, it was time to begin their training. She had immediately told Impa that she had found the Legendary Hero, and they made all their preparations for when the darkness would take over. [break][break] As suspicions began to rise among the Hyrulean people, Zelda had decided to hold a banquet welcoming all to introduce the hero to the world. It was a legendary tradition to hold a ceremony to properly introduce him into the world as a beacon of hope. [break][break] During these long months of training leading up to the ceremony, Zelda and Link became incredibly close. They were inseparable friends who promised their lives for each other. Zelda had given her word that she would stand by his side on the battlefield in the final days of battle, and while the two had continued their time together, a romance began to blossom. It was as though their destiny was deeper than just to be friends, just as it had been for every other hero and goddess. [break][break] It was unfortunate that the two of them had to keep their love a secret, due to the impending marriage that King Galadhion was trying to force upon Zelda and his son, Perseus. Thankfully, Percy had been against the wedding as well and did everything in his power to put it off, knowing that she belonged with Link. [break][break] King Galadhion's suspicions of Zelda and Link's budding romance began to raise though, as they seemed to disappear together very often, especially during the ceremony. When the two had danced together during the Ballad of the Goddess song, it was much more intimate than initially expected. [break][break]
A PRINCESS WITH NO POWER
[break] King Galadhion decided to take matters into his own hands, formerly speaking for the Late King Daphnes by saying that while this ceremony was meant to be light hearted "fun", there was no real evil approaching. Why they were truly gathered was to announce the wedding of Prince Perseus and Princess Zelda, and that it would take place within the following days. If Zelda were to refuse her duties as a bride, Link would be held captive and publicly executed as punishment for going back on her duties. [break][break]
During the day of the wedding, many of Zelda's allies, including Perseus himself had devised a plan of escape, however, in the process, Zelda had to fake her death in order to safely create a distraction for the others to escape, as they were then exiled. One of Zelda's decoys had swapped places with her, sacrificing herself so that the princess may escape unharmed. She, however, had to take on an alter ego, disguising as a Sheikah using her magic, as it was accustomed for all members of the Royal family to do so. This was because it had proved to be incredibly helpful during the Ocarina of Time era. She was not allowed to reveal her identity to anyone. [break][break]
THE BIRTH OF TALIA AND SEITH'S FREEDOM
[break] The Coalition (which included Link, Prince Perseus, King Asthar of Holodrum, and several others, had traveled as quickly as they could to the land of Holodrum. Because Galadhion had control of Hyrule and Labrynna, they could not risk their safety being within those territories. Zelda had met up with them shortly after, having to keep her identity a secret as she watched her friends grieve over her "death". [break][break] During this time, as the alliances between the three Kingdoms began to diminish, Seith was able to retrieve every shard of his soul, and thus being able to release himself from the prison under the Light Temple. He was able to then completely take over Marik's body, using it as a vessel to release himself into the world, but in doing so, he created a rift between the Sacred Realm and the World of Light, opening a bridge between them to allow all other Gods and Goddesses who were trapped in that world to be able to freely cross over. [break][break] With armies ready, and courage held high, Link had joined the front lines to face the gods to defend his world. However, when the disguised Zelda had joined by his side, Seith could sense her presence, and had immediately revealed her to the other Gods. It was clear now that they were vastly outnumbered and overpowered, and as the battle commenced, many died within seconds. With much effort, they continued to fight, and a devastating and fatal blow was taken by the hero. [break][break] Zelda could barely keep her composure as she rushed to Link's side, doing everything she could to make sure that he would survive. She cradled him in his arms, continuously stuttering out words that it would be okay and that they would win. She just wanted him to survive. [break][break] Fearing for the worst, Link did the only thing he could think of to save his people - he prayed to the Golden Goddesses. Despite their disappearance from the land for uncounted millenniums, he prayed for any answers to save the Land of Hyrule, and the world that surrounded them. [break][break] It was then that the Goddesses had arrived, punishing not only Seith, but Link and Zelda as well. In their final moments, the Triforce - the one power that was giving Link strength to stay alive was removed from his being and connected with the other two relics in the air as they were confiscated by Zelda and Seith as well. Zelda could see the light slowly leaving Link's eyes, and all she could do was shake him, screaming his name and begging him to stay awake. The goddesses all spoke in harmony with one another, as they surrounded the two of them after banishing the Dark God to another realm. [break][break] "A sacrifice must be made. The hero's tale is over." [break][break] These words were repeated over and over as Link's last breath was given, his hand falling from Zelda's cheek to the ground as he was then lifted into the air by supernatural force, and slowly fading away. Zelda begged the goddesses to spare him, and to allow him to stay, but they only continued their chants. [break][break] "A sacrifice must be made. The hero's tale is over." [break][break] As Link's body vanished, the triforce above their heads suddenly shattered into hundreds of pieces as they shot out in all directions of the land - one landing in Zelda's palms. There was no more hope in this land. Hyrule was in chaos. [break][break]
THE AFTERMATH OF WAR
[break] After Zelda's very lonely coronation as queen, riots started in the streets outside Hyrule as civilians forced their way into the castle, pulling her from her own throne and locking her out of the keep. She was branded as a failure to the crown, and chased out of Castletown and forced into hiding. [break][break] She spent the next few years using an alter ego, working with the Sheikah who were still devoted to her cause to gather followers in an attempt to bring peace back to Hyrule. During this time, she had discovered that Link was still alive - trapped in the sacred realm. She continuously had dreams of him locked away in a prison, and she knew that this couldn't be a coincidence or a out of grief. [break][break] In Zelda's time away from the throne, she had gathered many followers who still believe in her cause, and want nothing more than for peace over Hyrule once more. She has created a fellowship known as the Heroes of Hyrule, and their main goal is to collect the shattered pieces of the Triforce to once reunite it once more and bring peace, as well as unseal Link from his prison.
