Chaos broke out at Eleazar's command. People scrambled left and right as the remainder of his guard drew their weapons, either scurrying off to find the Royal Family - for better or worse- or to seek shelter. However, there were many that drew their weapons, and turned to the one who sat upon the throne.
"Kill the tyrant!"
With that cry, the throng charged forward. The cloaked spearmen held strong, impaling anyone foolish enough to try and fight them, but they could only do so much. Eleazar's company found themselves retreating to the castle, where more guard were able to join them. However, with the mass of people, they couldn't even shut the castle doors.
Hyrule, the brightened land filled with light and prosperity, at least that was what it used to be. Hyrule was merely nothing more than a shell of what it used to be, a mere husk that had descended into chaos. The people were waging battle most fierce and the lives of the valiant were coming to an end over something so meaningless. It was hard to say when Hyrule’s descent truly started, perhaps it happened the moment his friend Daphnes died, but Asthar knew that things were spiraling into disaster. The so called King of Hyrule and the former princess who was stripped of her title, Asthar could only wonder what the result of their conflict would lead for the kingdom of Hyrule.
Asthar preferred to remain neutral in all the workings of the kingdom. Perhaps Zelda truly would reclaim the throne from Eleazar and maybe she would be able to stand as queen once more, but did that mean she was worthy of it? Would the people accept her for it? Who was to say that this whole incident wouldn’t repeat itself again, that the people would oust her again? Asthar would not meddle in such things, but there were always an exception. Asthar had friends he cared about and that changed things a tad. Asthar wasn’t one who liked getting all sentimental, but he knew the little princess when he was a little brat and in a way he did get a bit attached to her. The urging of his best friend didn’t really help his neutrality as well.
It was a mistake coming to this so called festival and it spelt trap all over the place, but at the same time it was an opportunity and Asthar was willing to take it. Crimson eyes glanced down as he spotted a man with golden hair running down the streets fighting off some enemies whilst a few knights provided back up while yelling to protect the king. That man surrounded by knights was a man that held a similar appearance to that of Asthar himself. This very same man took the role of the king of Holodrum while the true king would always move around concealed in the missions he performed. At most that man was merely a decoy to allow Asthar to move around with more freedom. When Asthar did arrive at Hyrule he did act his role as king, but when all the chaos begun to unfold it was the perfect time to switch with his double. Of course if one were to get close to the double and look carefully they would be able to tell this was not Asthar as there were things and even mannerisms that were different from the real Asthar, but the double always kept his distance from the public and the knights aided this endeavor as well.
And so while the people believed that the king of Holodrum was in the streets fighting off enemies, in reality Asthar merely stood high on a rooftop with his hands resting in the pockets of his pants, looking out at what was occurring down below. His attire wasn’t anything of the sort of regal in the slightest and if anything he looked more like some form of rouge rather than a monarch. His identity was concealed with the hooded jacket he wore only at most revealing his ruby colored eyes and lower portion of his face. Aside from the selected few of his royal guard there were only two people that truly knew of this disguise. One was someone who caught his eye while the other was his dear friend Percy.
“…heh…I guess I shouldn’t wait any longer…knowing that bastard he is off all smoochy faced running over to his girly…” Asthar said quietly shrugging his shoulder with a chuckle as he shook his head “Geez it was his idea to do all this…haaah…I guess it can’t be helped…” Asthar said as there was a sudden thud noise behind him. A smirk formed upon the cloaked king as he gripped the hilt of his blade resting on his waist while his other hand held the sheath coating the blade. An enemy of burly size stood behind Asthar holding a spear. There was a sudden pause as neither of them moved, but that changed the instant the burly man thrusted the spear forward. In that instant Asthar moved his body and twisted it as he turned to face the enemy, narrowly missing the spear. His movement was swift and as he turned he quickly unsheathed his blade and swung it outward, slashing the man across the chest and quickly sheathed his blade back with a sigh as the man off the rooftop from the strike to the chest.

[attr="class","jartoxpost"] When Perseus had heard that Kura would be joining Zelda's group, he knew that this was going to end up going less than expected. Before, it was supposed to be easy; Zelda sneaks in, gets the Ocarina, everyone is distracted, and he and Asthar sweep in to finish off Eleazar. But as panic spread across town, he got stuck in a rut, wandering the passageways to find his beloved and make sure she made it out alive. And her reaction to his adieu was... less than heartwarming. In fact, she insisted he stay with them. But then Asthar would be alone, and this may have been their only chance to finish him off. [break][break] Perseus had ran as fast as he could, making his way to the western watch tower that they had agreed to meet on. He knew he was late, and he hoped Asthar had not gone without him. He heard a ruckus above as he arrived though, which had confirmed his suspicion that he was still very much waiting for him. Would he be okay alone though? Before he could finish that thought, an acolyte had fallen dead to the ground with a splat, and Percy shook his head. Yeah, he was fine. [break][break] He began to scale the tower as quickly as he could, grabbing every loose cobble and vine he could, until he hopped on, seeing his dear friend still waiting, wearing lighter gear that was more combat oriented. "Wow, you really know how to dress for the occasion," Percy smirked. "No shiny jewels or a cape, huh? I'm impressed." While Percy didn't really wear a disguise, he also didn't dress quite as orthodox as a Labrynnan Lord was supposed to - he simply preferred his combat garbs over noble robes. [break][break] He stretched his arms out, looking over the castle, which looked, to say the least, less stately than usual. He wasn't sure how they were going to go about doing this with just the two of them, but he had hoped they were both seasoned enough to get away with it unscathed. "Kura's not too happy about me being here, to say the least. But I think she'll get over it as long as we both get back alive," he smirked before turning to his noble comrade. "So where should we start our intrusion? Top or bottom?" he winked.
As time moved on they were gaining a disadvantage with each second that passed. They needed to utilize the chaos if they even wanted a chance of success, but it seemed that the younger king had other obligations. A sigh was released from Asthar’s lips as he was getting fed up with the waiting and was ready to begin making his way, but Asthar halted himself as he took notice of a silver head climbing up on top the tower he stood upon. “Oh? Well look who finally decided to show up…with all that time I was waiting on you two I was beginning to think things were getting a little bit…naughty…between you and your lady” Asthar said with a smirk as he glanced over at Perseus as he climbed up.
As Perseus noted his outfit choice Asthar couldn’t help but close his eyes and let out a small chuckle. “Come now, one should appreciate the simpler attires” Asthar said with a smirk as he glanced over at the castle along with Perseus and crossed his arms. “heh, is that so? Well then I’d hate to break a lady’s hearts so I guess I’m just going to have to keep your ass alive” Asthar said as he unfolded his arm and glanced over at Perseus the moment he asked his question and closed his eyes and let out a hearty laughter.
“Haaaaah?! Top or Bottom? Obviously top” Asthar said as he walked over to the spear that was dropped by the acolyte right before he dropped off the tower. Taking hold of the spear Asthar smirked as he begun to spin the spear in his hand. “The bottom is quite crowded and all the action may be lost to those down there…which is why the top is best…” Asthar said as he held the spear like a javelin and pointed at the castle as he narrowed his eyes with a smirk. “…better and more easier to thrust in after all…” Asthar said as he immediately tossed the spear with all his might and had the spear crash through a window of the castle. “Well then, let’s not waste any more time…” Asthar said as he begun to crouch slightly ready to rush onwards.

[attr="class","jartoxpost"] "Hey, if you had someone you were smitten with, you'd do the same thing," Percy laughed quietly, though his smile then dispersed a moment later. "she's actually... not doing to well, from what I gathered. Something about magical disturbances imbalancing her equilibrium--I don't know--her retainer explained it. She'll be fine as long as she escapes," he nodded trying to reassure himself. If she escapes... but he closed his eyes and cleared his throat, taking in Asthar's decision as he looked to the towers. "Alright. So we scale one of the towers and make our way down. If I recall, his chamber is on the third floor, center back - if he took King Daphnes's. [break][break] "Alright then. Shall we?" he smiled before hopping back, letting his feet dangle from the tower as his arms rested against the stone railing of the rooftop. He slid down the side, landing on a large barrack walkway which led them straight toward the castle, without putting them in plain sight of the ground level. Waiting for Asthar to follow, he continued his strides in the shadows before they made their way to the side of the castle tower, where an open window was several stories above their head.
[break][break] The castle was... eerily quiet. No guards even watching the front gates, and he couldn't see any light emitted from the inside of the window. There was not much going on, as it seemed. Still, he stayed as quiet as possible, taking grab of loose brick and vines as he approached the opening, crawling in quickly, and reaching out to grab Asthar. Once he were pulled in, he looked around carefully, or well, as carefully as he could. The entire area was shrouded in darkness. [break][break] "Okay, so no splitting up. This place is probably a death trap," Percy noted, more so to himself and to lighten the mood. "You're half Sheikah, right? You can probably see in the dark a lot better than me." He pulled out his bow, holding it close to his chest for protection, before opening a wooden door that led out into the corridor. [break][break] "Ladies first," he motioned to Asthar with a cheeky grin as he motioned toward the hall.

[attr="class","saschaunshifted"]
Originally, Aryllia wasn't even going to get involved. This was her chance to escape. Phenex, the defect Sheikah group had found out she had been sneaking away without keeping contact, losing their tracks and being secretive. They took everything from her; her money, her weapons, and because of her "intolerable behavior", they sent her to Hyrule Castle to be punished by Eleazar.
She had heard horror stories of the way he treated his prisoners. Torture, which left you begging for death, but he never let you get off that easy. She had been here for several days, barely eating, and locked in a cell with a single wooden door, while she at in solitary darkness, still waiting for what Eleazar had planned. He liked to take his time on his victims, and as such, he had still been working on his other prisoners and hadn't gotten around to her yet. But when the carnival had been put on halt by a sudden intrusion, guards and sheikah had scattered to find and imprison those who stole from their king.
And she was left, no guard to stop her. She knew how to pick a lock, but escaping was the hard part, if the Sheikah were scouring the cellar hallway. She had found her way to the prison armory, where she gathered her clothing and weapons, and she was set on leaving and hiding for good. But the fervor for vengeance coursed through her, and she couldn't shake the itch. She wanted to end this permanently, and now was the perfect time.
So she made her way to the upper castle area, where she searched for any signs of the madman. With no guards to protect him, there was obvious suspicion of him backing into the corner of his cage, with every defense mechanism ready as you drew closer to his location. Likely, there were traps. And perhaps a few men to back him up while he waited the castletown riot out. It was very dark, and the silence deafened her. The only sound coming from her breath, and tiny steps. Her attention was then brought to a door that opened just west of the hall she walked, and her eyes widened, and she froze, her staff held up in defense.
It was two sets of steps, from what she could tell, and they were heading her way. One of which, was a set of glowing red eyes. They were back. She took a deep breath, trying not to bring much attention to herself, as she held her breath simply waiting. But the steps had stopped, and she couldn't find where they went. "Who's there...?" she whispered.
The sound of wooden shoes on cold stone rang out along the courtyard path as Nimue strode past the other guests. The steady and slow sway of her hips was in stark contrast to the uncertainty of those around her who were running around in a panicked state as they attempted to escape the confusion. Among them, she glimpsed the figures of two particular young men, who had eyes full of determination as they raced towards the hallway inside the palace. Having decided they might have the same destination as her, she followed the into the palace, staying just out of sight. Nimue’s real reason to have gone to the festival was not to entertain herself or join in on the festivities and the revelries of the evening. In fact, thinking about it, she hadn't even received any sort of invitation for participation, then again why would she? Eleazar surely must've still held a grudge against her for sending him away from his heritage and throne to a poor little orphanage, even if that grudge was misplaced against her. It had just so happened she had heard of the event while on a state visit to the court of King Perseus, and had decided it would be the best way to see her El, even if it wouldn’t be in a friendly situation. Of course, she hadn't told her advisor who had realised too late what she was planning, as she had already used her ‘mirrors’ to disappeared to somewhere far off in the distance.
“haaah? Me? Smitten with somebody? How ridiculous, don’t make me laugh” Asthar said letting out a chuckle as he stood beside his best friend ready to move out ready to accomplish their task. With the way Perseus spoke of Kura Asthar could tell that her safety was weighing heavily on his mind which in turn caused the older king to hold Percy’s shoulder reassuringly. “You worry too much, she’ll be fine, but still…it makes it more imperative that we get your ass out of this alive” Asthar said softly before letting go.
Giving Perseus a nod the moment he was asked if he was ready, Asthar smirked as he begun to follow Perseus, keeping up the pace with him as they ran off. While he did have a friendship of sorts with Daphnes, it wasn’t that big and he wasn’t that well versed with the full layout of Hyrule Castle. Perseus was surprisingly agile, but Asthar did have faith in his friend’s skill. If he was going into a suicide mission then at the very least he would do it with his brother by his side.
Nothing was as it seemed and Asthar was suspicious about how quiet and calm the inside of the castle was. Eleazar probably had something planned and they may be walking into a trap, but if they cowered and didn’t take what could be a good chance then they would never be able to take the bastard down. Asthar had his own reasons he wanted to take down Eleazar, but taking down the tyrant was merely a big step in his goal.
Together the two entered the castle and Perseus made it clear that splitting up was a bad idea. “oh you’re no fun…” Asthar said with a disappointed tone. Despite his words Asthar did believe it would have been stupid to split up and if he wanted to watch over Perseus he definitely needed to stick with the boy. Gripping the handle of his sheathed blade, Asthar narrowed his eyes and smirked. “Yeah, I can see in the darkness just fine…” Asthar said as they opened the door ready to head out.
Perseus made a cheeky comment but even then Asthar closed his eyes and smirked as he walked forward. “Why yes, indeed that is how it goes normally however we are in an area of danger so please stand back milady as I clear the path for you” Asthar said using obviously false dramatics in his tone of voice but he stopped and opened his eyes calmly, his red eyes growing much more serious. “…but seriously, keep an eye on the back…” Asthar said not looking back at Perseus as he said his words.
There was somebody around, Asthar heard something and he was instantly on guard. Perhaps he was on edge, but Asthar’s eyes quickly caught sight of somebody in the darkness. Immediately Asthar kicked off the ground and began to dash forward. His moves were fast and swift as he almost glided past the distance towards his opponent, his red eyes glowing as he ran. As he begun to close the distance he immediately withdrew his sword and was ready to swing it and threaten the opponent, but his sword stopped as the blade got close to his victim and his eyes widened in shock as he looked down just who this opponent was. “Aryll?!” Asthar said completely shocked as he looked down at the far too familiar face.
“What are you doing here!?” Asthar said but then closed his eyes instantly and turned his face to the side and held his chin with a devilish smirk “I mean it’s always lovely to see your gorgeous face…” Asthar said majestically as he suddenly looked back at her again with the same surprised look as before“but seriously! You shouldn’t be here! You gotta get going!” Asthar said a bit worried. The one person he did want to be in the castle was in the castle and now standing before him

[attr="class","jartoxpost"] The two of them began to scour the hallway, looking for anywhere that might lead to where Eleazar may have been hiding. Bow in hand, he made sure to keep his ears peeled for any movement as they slowly made their way through the darkened corridor. On the bright side, with Asthar being able to see, they would be less likely to have been caught on the chance that an enemy could see their lights they would have used otherwise. [break][break] "This place smells awful. Eleazar really let it go," he made note of when he continued to look around cautiously. As his eyes began to adjust to the darkness, he was able to make very small note of the furniture silhouettes, but the silence is what truly gave this place its eerie perception. "It's really weird that no one is here though... I know he announced a man hunt, but... why would he leave the castle completely unguarded? Surely he realizes that someone would be stupid enough to break in and try to kill him!" [break][break] Just then, the sound of small footsteps filled his ears, and he gripped his bow tighter. "Someone is here with us," he made note. The two of them had slowed down a bit, stepping forward with caution. But before he could say anything else, Asthar had locked onto the target, rushing forward to attack. "W-wait! What if it's a trap!?" he called out, but suddenly Asthar had spoken in shock, looking to the person who was now before him. It wasn't an enemy after all. [break][break] Perseus ran up quickly, scratching his head as he listened to Asthar continue and then looked to the girl, his eyes adjusting on her slowly. "Wait... Aryll... as in Link's sister, Aryll?" he looked back at Asthar, who seemed to be way more concerned for her safety than usual. "Wait, wait, wait. I'm confused. Who cares if she's here, she probably wants to kill him the same as us. She could be useful for us," he interjected, then turning to the girl. "Also, it is very nice to see you again. It's been a while--but obviously she has enough skill to get in here, so the more people we have, the better!"

Aryllia braced herself as she felt a force move toward her, a blade moving closer and closer to her neck before--
it stopped. The red eyes looked over her carefully, and suddenly a voice she knew all too well spoke, frantically, asking her why she was even here in the first place. "As...thar..?" she mused for a moment, her hand moving up to feel a hood on his head. "Oh thank Hylia..." she huffed in relief. Suddenly, she was bombarded with questions, and she looked at him with a tired look, shaking her head as she growled lightly. "I was awaiting punishment for disobeying those Sheikah. But I picked the lock and figured that while the castle is practically empty, why not kill the psycho?"
Duh. She wasn't just gonna run away with such a brilliant opportunity in the making. Suddenly another figure had appeared beside him, questioning who she was and making note that she was Link's sister. The voice rung with familiarity and she blinked a few times, squinting to see better and making note of the long silver blonde hair. "Oh, Percy," she said plainly. "It's... good to see you too?"
She looked back at Asthar, an annoyance painting on her face as she crossed her arms. "Why does it matter if I'm here or not? The bigger question is why are you here? You two are like walking targets! If anyone sees the two Kings of the other kingdoms walking around, they could use this as an opportunity to take your land!" She then overheard Percy's interruption of her helping, and suddenly, it hit her.
"No... don't tell me you're here to kill him too?" she asked hesitantly. "You guys can't be here, it's too risky. You're putting your entire kingdoms on the line! At least if I fail, there's no hard loss. You guys need to get out of here, now!" she started pulling on Asthar's hand toward the stairwell hall. "Before anyone sees!"
Nimue crept quietly across the stone corridor, keeping close to the walls to avoid being seen. Shadows clung to the walls that stood mute, as water awaited the call of the wind and stayed still without a single ripple. Grey stone, previously smooth from centuries of company within the castle walls, had become worn and cracked with age and misuse. Hung up on the walls were broken swords and damaged shields from fallen soldiers, along with suits of armour that failed to protect. However, the ominous silence that permeated throughout the castle was broken by the voice of the red-eyed figure, previously identified by the other figure (who she had realised was King Perseus Elein of Labrynna) as King Asthar of Holodrum. Nimue froze in place as he looked around, searching for something or someone. Her heart pounded heavily in her chest as he turned right to where she was. However, he quickly averted his gaze towards another location as she heard soft footsteps echo and a petite figure emerge from the shadows in front of her. From the subsequent conversation, she gathered that this newcomer to the party was Aryllia Queensguard, the current Sage of Light. ‘It is hard to believe that my little El has done such things,' Nimue mused to herself, ‘to have caused two of the most powerful men on the Isle and one of the fabled sages to seek his life… Is he really so irredeemable?’ Almost as soon as she has said this, she shook away the thought. ‘This is just further reason to talk with El. I need to know everything he intends to do… If he will listen to anyone, I am sure his mother would be one of them.’
[attr="class","drkbody"]You could call it fate, or you could call it coincidence; as glistening cerulean eyes set upon Castle Town, watching the smoke rise above the rooftops, a grimace spread across the lips of the young hylian. His grip tightened on the reigns of his steed and he contemplated his arrival into Hyrule. It had been a long journey across Labrynna and into Hyrule -- his goal being to confront the current tyrannical lord, Eleazar, a name that he had heard much of, from both his mother and the Royal Advisors that he groomed him for his upcoming coronation. A coronation that lingered on the edge of a cliff, as the concept of another Zora blood existed. It was two years ago that Gaelio had even heard of Eleazar, the once promised Prince, and his technical brother; it was also at this time that he was made aware of his tyrannical uprising in Hyrule, and he knew that he had to confront him. After his recent Eighteenth birthday, Gaelio began his plans to ride to Castle Town and suppress his brothers hold on the crown. He was unsure of what this would do to the already fragile nature of Hyrule, but it was not fit for a Zora to sit on that throne. Today, with a small force of armed soldiers at his back, the adopted Zoran Prince, gallantly rode for Castle Town.
"It appears to be a mass riot sir, along with several combative parties throughout the city. I am unsure what to make of it, but perhaps it would be wiser to wai-"
"Not possible. Do not forget we are here to confront Eleazar. He may no longer hold ties to the throne, but he is still Zoran. He is still our kin and he is by all means, OUR problem." The dark haired lifted his chin and gave the signal to keep moving, his scout stunned speechless by the young prince's declaration."I refuse to let him sully our pride any farther." Truth be, Gael was quite curious about Eleazar; wondering what it was that drove him from the Zoran Seas' and why he would grow so hateful and power hungry. He never bothered to ask his mother, and his father had died before he even know of Eleazar's existence. Together the small force rode upon the gates, and were immediately met with resistance, however they were no match for Gael's hand picked unit. He merely casted them a glance before riding past the gates and into the city.
Boy things sure were a mess. Bodies, both alive and dead littered the streets and alleys. Men and women screamed as they tried to reach safety, and the recognizable sound of steel clashing filled his ears. Gaelio's men made short work of each man that dared to try and get close to the prince, quickly dispatching them and continuing the slow trek through the city. It took some time, as most of the city was being plundered and blockaded, but they finally reached the front gates -- which of course were boarded up tight. Gael slid from his steed as his lieutenant approached him, "Perhaps we can find another way in. It does not seem like the Rogue King will be coming out of there any time soon with this disaster outside." "We don't have that kind of time. I've been observing the situation and I think there is more to this than meets the eye. Call it a hunch but I have a bad feeling. Captain gather some men and get something to break this door down. Be hasty."
Swiftly, four armored guards did as they were told, lifting a fallen wooden beam to attack the center of the door frame. It took quite an amount of time. The constant thud of wood echoing in the area, he was sure there would be a force waiting for them on the other side.
Once it seemed that the gate was on it's last leg, he drew his blade from his hip and prepared himself for the mass of guards that would await them. Quickly leaping through the opening provided, he let out a courageous bellow, but that soon died off as his eyes scanned the area, and found the foyer to be empty. Gael furrowed his eyebrows and sheathed his blade before turning back to the following force. "Split up and search for Eleazar. For anything! And be careful. This could all be a trap."
Gael bit his bottom lip and walked forward to the throne room carefully. He knew there was no way they didn't not know he was coming, the echo from the door should have been plenty of an alarm. There was only two explanations -- they were all hiding somewhere in the castle and awaiting to entrap them, or he managed to escape in the chaos. Neither were good for him.
It was one thing for Asthar sticking around babysitting Perseus to keep him alive in this suicidal mission, but then with Aryll over this made his job worse. Regardless of how Aryllia’s presence could cause trouble for him, he was also relieved to see the girl before him. He felt her pat the top of his hood, but in response he merely took off the hood and glanced down at the tired looking girl with a frown. “Tsk damn I was worried…” Asthar said. Over the past days he found himself unable to really get in contact with the girl and with her ties with Phenex it only made him worry that the girl was in some form of trouble.
A sigh of relief was released, but the sheer thought that she was in here returned back to him and the relief he felt drifted away quickly. The topic quickly changed from asking her why she was here to why the two kings were here instead, causing Asthar to get a bit surprise at the sudden turnaround of conversation. “Wait hold on!” Asthar said but immediately his hand was pulled over as he was directed towards the staircase. Gathering up his thoughts from this sudden moment, Asthar stopped in his tracks and put some resistance from the girl that was pulling him away. “Just a minute! I’m not going anywhere! If anybody is leaving it is you!” Asthar said now equally annoyed at the girl. Immediately his glowing red eyes quickly glanced over at Perseus with a glare that was basically firing daggers at him “Oi! And quiet you! You’re not helping!” Asthar yelled before glancing back at Aryllia.
“Look I’m here to keep that idiot alive so we can succeed in getting rid of that bastard and his damn crew!” Asthar said while pointing directly at Perseus. It wasn’t that he didn’t have faith in Perseus’s skills, but with a mission like this there was a chance that it would fail and one of them would die and Asthar would do what was needed to keep his best friend alive. “So long as he survives things will be alright! If I go down then that’s fine…Holodrum will be fine without a useless king like me” Asthar said before narrowing his eyes and pointing at her face annoyed “But I’m not going down that easy so you need to get the hell out of here! I am not letting you risk your life!” Asthar said.

He might actually kill him for alleging this! Perseus immediately shut right up, and while the two continued their disagreement, he began to realize just how loud they really were. They probably drew some attention. [break][break] "Guys," Perseus tried to gain their attention, putting a finger to his lip to try and get them to hush, but it seemed that he was being ignored by both parties. "Guys, we're going to lose our position..." he looked around. Though his eyes had adjusted to view Aryllia and Asthar, everything around them was still engulfed in darkness. [break][break] Finally, Perseus had caught wind of the final moments of their conversation, hearing Aryllia speak of not being his type, to which his brow furrowed. "You know we're talking about Asthar right? If you have legs and a nice bosom, I'm pretty sure he's got enough attraction. You, my dear, make Asthar much more flustered than the usual broad would though. So props for that." [break][break] Asthar was just getting ready to finish his statements to Aryllia when they were suddenly interrupted by a blade to his neck. The voice that followed was one the King had not heard in quite some time, as he immediately narrowed his eyes to get a better look without moving abruptly or seeming threatening. [break][break] "...Prince Gael? Is that you?" Percy asked quietly. The movement of the prince was swift and threatening though, and Perseus suddenly felt a surge of caution wave through him to protect his friend, a hand set in front of Asthar in a defensive manner. "Prince Gael, I order you to stand down before you do serious harm to one of our most powerful allies!" the king suddenly commanded in a bold tone.

Aryllia's eyes grew rather small as Asthar had suddenly went from calm to rather drastic. Her request for the two of them to leave seemed to not go well with him as he immediately retorted with her leaving instead. She glared, trying her hardest to hold in her thoughts as she shook her head, crossing her arms in defiance as he continued to give his excuses as to why she needed to get away from the area.
When Percy had chimed in with his comment of her helping them, Asthar had immediately snapped at him and had said that there was no reason to be apart of the conversation. Aryll's eyes widened in surprise. She was in a bit of dismay at the King's sudden emotion to the situation as she shook her head, narrowed eyes looking to him in confusion. "What is wrong with you? You can't just demand me to leave!" she growled.
She was slightly offended by his hesitance of her ability to keep up with them. Even though she strongly advised them to leave the area, she knew that they were fully capable of making decisions for themselves, and as such, she didn't have full command of their actions. For Asthar to demand this of her was quite ludicrous.
"Excuse me--ASTHAR!" she finally shouted over his defiance. But his words hit her like poison as he spoke of his own kingdom being able to be run without him, and she paused for a moment, looking slightly hurt by his response. She took a moment to respond correctly, fearing for the worst if anything were to happen to him.
She closed her eyes, pursing her lips for a moment before looking at him sternly, hurt behind her eyes as she tried her hardest to hide it. "Don't ever say that to me again," she said coldly. "I don't care what you think. The people of Holodrum need you. Your friends need you. I n--" she stopped herself for a moment, flushing lightly as she took a deep breath.
"My liege, do not talk as though you are expendable. I don't know what... I don't know how we would live with your life being lost. But do not treat me as though I am incapable of handling my own. You've seen my skill. You've assured me of my worth. Please allow me to help if you refuse to let me do it alone."
The words that passed Persues's lips suddenly alluded her to something she had not thought of, as her eyes widened. "L-like??" she stammered quickly. "We just... we've known each other for some time. It's nothing more," she attempted to recover quickly. "As if I was likeable in that sense. I'm not his type," she murmured to herself.
