You may not be of my flock
but a hero's job is not limited to one's people
The reports of kidnappings had the entirety of Hyrule on high alert, cautious of whether any of their people would be taken. Tiaris had scouts and guards out on duty day and night, eyes out on the domain and around Hyrule.
Though none of her people were taken, an envoy from Labrynna had arrived at the steps of her domain, bearing a request for help. They were unable to send out their own troops, but a member of their society had been part of the kidnappings, and they requested somebody be sent out. Members of her guard volunteered, including Ati, but it was Tiaris who volunteered. The reports seemed to lead to the Zora Domain, and it was there that she took off, alone.
It was in the cover of night that she landed in the Domain, near where the reports led her to. It seemed to be a cave on the far side of the lake's shore, the Domain in the distance. She shifted back into her normal shape and put a hand on her blade's grip, looking into the dark of the cave. As she did, she felt the hairs on the back of her neck stand up, and looked behind her, but saw nothing but shadow.
"Must just be on edge... But back to the task at hand.

★ HERE I COME OBLIVION
How?
"Fucking HOW!?"
The effects of the light dwellers grog were more potent than intended, a night of gambling and singing with the folk had left him unable to do his job; --For when he awoke in the morning her presence was gone. With teeth bared and only his pants on, he stumbled around the Inn his bare amethyst skin glowing as if he had a fever.
He asked patron and matron alike if anyone had seen the tall, elegant, obviously regal and pompous cargo he had been lugging with him since he got to the bloody place.
Yet no one had seen Midna.
It wasn't long into the afternoon that he received a letter. The gentle tap on his shoulder interrupting him from banging his head against a wooden support beam. Eyes glanced down to the venereal blossom that got his attention, a brow perched up as his studious eyes took in the sight. "A letter for you sir," she said before shimmy-ing back around the counter.
Pulling himself center and readjusting his posture he opened the letter and immediately cursed his existence.
"IS THIS A GAME?! NO ONE GETS TO KILL HER BUT ME!"
Disbelief written on his face he made for his room, pulling together the intricate armor that the stupid guards of his realm wore. Seriously, who designed this crap? It doesn't allow for fluid movement at all? And made his way back outside. The setting sun made it to where his emerging was not so uncomfortable.
If the contents of the letter were true however, he needed to find more allies, and ones he could work with. Which no better one could be found than approaching your own kin. Balthazar knew there were Twili on the surface, and finding them would be no chore as long as he looked in the shadows.
The Zora Domain, though he had only been a few times before, still gave him a bad taste in his mouth. It was wet, like by a miserable amount, and when it wasn't wet, it was shiney. By definition, it was everything he despised in a nutshell, but it was where they were holding Midna.
It was to his surprise that the frame of another would come into his view, though this one belonged not to a human or a zora, but rather something he had yet to see in his time on the isle. They glanced in his direction, though he was masked in shadow and was invisible to their eye, which meant that they had good instinct. Once they turned, Balthazar emerged and pulled his royal sword from his hip.
"Your mistake was not trusting your gut!" He said before stepping forward in an attempt to wrap his arm around their shoulder and chest to ensnare them. "Are you with them? Where is she?"
It had been a long day. The worst kind of day, really. The light is not something Veltuzar is particularly fond of. It's blinding, harsh and on occasion it even hurts.
So when the shadows finally began to stretch, Veltuzar would immediately search for the cool and comforting safety of the shadows. "Zora's Domain..." he would say to himself. He could see it in the distance. He may be patriotic to boot and dismissive of the Light Realm. But he couldn't deny the beauty he saw before him. Truly, an innovative and remarkable species - quite different from anything he'd seen so far.
He recalled his first encounter with a Zora, back in the markets of Hyrule Castle Town. "Circe..." He doesn't have many fond memories of this world, so he takes care to hold onto the pleasant ones when they come by. He smiled for a moment. It's funny, he thought. Not many would have fond memories of her.
However the moment died as quickly as it appeared. In the distance, he could hear a man shouting, which caught his attention. As he headed that direction, he found a Twili and a Rito, seemingly in an argument, although he wasn't informed enough to make that judgement yet.
He closed in on the scene, just as the Twili grabbed the Rito. "Whoah, there! We need not be so uncivilized, friend. After all, where we're from, we have an ordered society, don't we?"
He moved closer, trying not to cause too much of a stir. "I say we should give these foreigners a better impression. Exactly what appears to be the problem?"
