Time, a concept given sentience that grew bored of a timeless expanse of nothing. And, to its delight, the nothingness filled with space, and these concepts were suddenly things, goddesses of a new universe. The sisters were creators together, checks and balances to each other, and thus creation began. They made light, dark, life, death, air and water. But when it came to the creation of sentient life, they grew split over one creation that stood over the rest. The sisters feuded, and Time eventually stood over Space. Vowing her vengeance, she swore to never help her sister again, and withdrew to her own pocket of space, where she could not be found. She schemed, and took the name Majora, taking the creations that her sister so lovingly worked on, and turned them into vessels to exact her own influence indirectly. Thus, the sisters represented a duality of light and dark, perfect balance teetering. [break][break] Well, that’s what the stories would tell you about them. Little is known of the goddesses and their actual falling out, but the brief mentions of Majora in modern history come in scraps of mention of her influence in a land called Termina. Tired of Hylia’s influence overshadowing her own, she took the vessel of a Skull Kid, using him to sow chaos in the land she had her focus on, until she was faced by the Hero of Time, the champion of Hylia, and was defeated when he donned the Fierce Diety mask. As she crawled away in her defeat, she was weakened enough that her sister was able to corner her and trap her in the Divine Realm, though remnants of her influence existed in the lands of Termina and Hyrule. These masks would find themselves drawn to those fated to serve a side of divinity not associated with Triforce, nor time. She was able to keep a weak enough hold on the world that it went widely unnoticed, and she waited in her prison for the right time to strike. [break][break] And when the gods of the Divine Realm escaped, she joined them, not in the ensuing battle, but in escape. She had higher ambitions. And sowed greater items of her influence across Hyrule, implanting her powers within her most devout followers. They were given one mission: serve well after the eventual re-sealing of the Gods, and wait for the time to trick the vessel of Hylia, in her despair, to make an act of desperation. And the moment came. Her High Priestess, Nynaeve, tricked Zelda Hyrule into opening the Divine Realm by sacrificing her divinity, in order to save her hero. And, as a result, Majora walked freely on Hyrule, her sister now the one trapped in the Divine Realm. Then, her planning begun. She began conscripting more to her cause, working in the shadows to manipulate those she could that held positions of power. But it seems, as of now, she has higher ambitions in mind, and her eyes seem particularly set on Hyrule Castle…

She can call their physical forms by simply willing them, or allow others to use the powers of the individual’s soul by donning it. [break][break] SALVATION: Majora can extract people’s souls from their bodies, provided they submit to her in order to do so. These souls are put into mask form, and stored among her collection. [break][break] SPACIAL PARADOX: Majora can exist in two places at once, due to her mastery over the concept of space. These separate versions of her are capable of unique conversation and action, but share one consciousness. In addition, nothing but divine magic can hurt her in this state. However, she is unable to use her other powers when using this. [break][break] TIME’S END: Just as the manipulation of time can rewind the actions she takes in manipulating space, Majora can nullify the effects of time on herself and those around her. She is capable of causing the effects of temporal manipulation to affect another space entirely, rendering it effectively useless. Less effective against Hylia’s full power, however, and falters completely if her concentration is broken. [break][break] DIVINITY: Majora can create life and matter as she pleases, though is unable to take at a whim, as a rift in the equilibrium of space and time would take both her sister’s power and hers to fix. [break][break] [break][break] OTHER: Countless masks of powerful servants whose souls she has saved over time.
