[attr="class","libody"] Kura bit her bottom lip and looked away at the mention of the Hero of Twilight. She had of course fibbed about never hearing of it. It was actually one of her most read tales during her time in the castle, but ever since she had discovered her similar gift, Kura negated to read and or think about it. To her, the tale was a reminder of her liability to those around her. 'If only I could use it to save the world like he did...' she thought to herself as the lights dimmed and the actors began to preform.
The play was similar to the story in the books she enjoyed, only putting extra emphasis on the relationship between Link and the previous chosen of Hylia. Kura frowned slightly and furrowed her brows, she lingered on the idea of the Hero and her sister Zelda. Two souls that were destined to be together since birth, and to keep peace in the world -- how much is Zelda suffering, with her Hero trapped in another existing realm? Kura's heart pained for her sister, and looking at Perseus, she couldn't imagine what it would be like for him to disappear as well.
A soft brush of skin against her hand had caught her attention, and she looked down to see his around her own. Her heart skipped a beat and she blushed intensely, her eyes glancing up to meet his. Once again she was like a puddle, so flustered to even say a word and she had to force herself to look away and stop staring up at him.
At the end of the play she smiled and was about to move away when he asked her to stay. Her brows raised in curiosity, waiting until the actors once again moved to change the lighting and a gentle ballad filled her ears. Kura glanced around, as the remaining couples stood and began to dance to the melody. Kura looked up to Perseus who offered his hand and she took it sheepishly, "But I... I don't know this dance," she said shyly, looking to the other couples to revel in this tradition.
She stood none the less and walked with him to the stage, her fingers gently intertwined with his as she nervously looked around. The gap between them closed and her cheeks grew red in her embarrassment and excitement. She opened her mouth to speak, but hesitated, biting her lip before pushing past the lump in her throat, "Perseus... why have you... umm why do you not have a...a-a Queen yet? I would assume it's a tradition of your culture just like ours, and you are of age." she finally struggled to get out, realizing how ridiculous of a question she looked away, "I am sorry... I'm only curious."

[attr="class","libody"] His boastful nature was a pleasure to her as he explained his keen nature to win the fun try-hard games around them. She giggled and swiftly nodded, "Yes of course! I shouldn't doubt how skilled you are when it comes to being able to hit a target once you have it in your sights." A soft smile decorated her face as she held onto his arm, taking note of how close she was to him and blushing in embarrassment. Many eyes followed them, and those that didn't notice the two of them, were normally set on their own goals.
It took a moment, but slowly Kura started to notice the amount of paired men and women, old and young, that dotted the scene around them. It wasn't until after his swift explanation of this festivals custom that she realized just how this situation looked to an outsider...and she quickly began to panic on the inside. Her mind filled with questions, that she began to mutter to herself all at once.
'Was this a good idea?' 'What does this mean for us?' 'I hope he isn't getting scared off...' 'Wait did he call me beautiful?'
Realizing that he apologized she let go of his arm and raised her hands to reassure him, "No no... that's umm.. quite alright. I understand how it must look to someone else haha..."
"The Hero of Twilight, I am not familiar with this story, and would very much like to see it," she said as she was already walking towards the theater. Like she expected, it was a lovely outside area, with a natural slope that allowed for everyone to see the happenings. There were padded benches placed around low tables, and each had a candle and were decorated with small shiny particles that glimmered from the aspected lighting around them. It was a beautiful area, with streamers and curtains that framed it all so perfectly. From what she could see, it had not started yet but they were approached by a very cheerful middle-aged woman. "Your Highness! If it pleases you I have a separate viewing area over he--" though she was cut off by Kura who raised her hand to stop her.
"These seats are fine right here. I am sure King Perseus would agree as well." If there was one thing, Kura never liked to be labeled by titles, and would rather be treated equally with her people; a custom that she even makes her closest friends and retainers upkeep. She opts to be viewed as a person and a human first before seen as a Royal Princess.
Taking a seat she slid onto the bench and smiled, urging Perseus to take a seat next to her. "I am curious about how historically correct this will be!" she giggled before continuing, "The ones in Hyrule were so over exaggerated that I was sure even the names were false."

[attr="class","libody"] 'Is this all a dream' she asked herself as they walked together down the lit up streets of Lynna City. It was more beautiful than she could imagine and the feeling was overwhelming as she held closely onto his arm. Her cheeks were a constant shade of pink and if she stood still for more than a minute -- she was shaking faster than a maraca! Kura smiled softly and glanced up at Perseus. "I feel safe here with you, even in the center of a busy city." The thought of having to hide never even crossed her mind, and for once she felt at peace, and like she was a normal girl again; a feeling she had not felt since the day of Zelda's coronation so many years ago. Since then, all of them had changed a little. She was no longer so free spirited, and Zelda grew more hopeless in the fight to bring back the Hero. She could even feel that King Perseus had changed; much like he was taking on more responsibility since his coming to the throne. So it was no surprise to her when he displayed his courage towards the idea of her being attacked while in his possession.
However, he was his normal -- quirky self, as he snapped at the crowd around the two of them. Getting worked up over their judgements and Kura giggled. "Pay them no mind. Your people are only expressing their shock over their King being out and about. It's a feeling that will never go away, and when I was younger, I loved to walk around the city and see everyone's smiling faces."
She smiled and glanced to a hearty older man advertise his festival stand. "Are you even good at any of these games? Is the festival like this every year? It's so lively!... I miss attending things like this." she said softly as she watched a small girl run past her with a large stuffed and clearly hand decorated doll in her arms. It looked like one of the dozens she had in her room when she was small. Though their cultures differed, there were more similarities among them than anything.
"So your father wanted to see you with my sister... so you could take the throne of Hyrule... what would have happened to Labrynna? He would not have lived as king forever, and you don't have any siblings... Did he aim to combine the two kingdoms? -- We are not so different after all..." she trailed off thinking that the political talk may be a bit boring for him... "Ah my apologies, I don't want to dampen your evening," she said quickly with a smile before continuing to walk down the busy street.
"Oh! I'd love to see a play! I haven't been to one since I was a girl!" she exclaimed, thinking about the story that would be told at a festival like this.

[attr="class","libody"]Kura nodded her head and agreed to meet back in an hour, which was plenty of time for Garrett to return with her favor. Normally she didn't send out her closest friend for such trivial items, but she wanted to impress Perseus tonight, so that maybe -- well she at least wanted to be noticed by the young man. Stepping away from the table, she walked with the two kings, being shown to her room and bid adieu. The door was closed slowly behind her and she took in the elegant and unique architecture of the room that she would be staying in. Fallen leaves decorated the carved flooring, and vines wrapped around tall pillars. The air smelled fresh and the bedding was soft; giving her a smile from ear to ear as her face flooded with color. 'Did I just get set up on a date?'
A swift knuckled knock on the door alerted her to a presence and she turned face to allow him to come in. Garrett closed the door behind him and sighed, "Oh good you are already here. I-"
"Lemme see it." "--... well aren't you quick to the point my princess."
He sighed once more and placed the large box that was under his arm, onto the bed. In which the princess wasted no time tearing into. The twine that held it together was pulled apart and the lid lifted to reveal the dark green colored gown. It was not decorated with beading or glimmering stones; instead it was embroidered with golden hues in weaving patterns -- much like vines that reached from the hem and up to her knees. Like her normal style, the sleeves hugged her wrists tightly, and the neckline framed her collarbone; but the dark color accented her natural reddend hair, and she looked breathtaking. Kura smiled brightly and leapt to her retainer, wrapping her arms around his neck and pulling him into a gracious hug. "Garrett it's perfect!"
Surprised by her advance, his eyes grew wide and he gingerly wrapped his own hands around her sides, holding her still as she displayed her gratuity. His eyes were still as he tilted his head, taking in her scent and smiling softly, "It was no problem my lady..." he hesitated, but finally continued, " My princess... Kura. I have been with you for a long time now... like I mean that I have served you and watched you grow.."
She backed up and raised an eyebrow to him before walking over to the vanity and sitting on the plush cushion. "Of course, how long has it been now?"
"That doesn't matter.... I know how nervous you are about tonight, and I can sense your tense emotions about your sister's predicament. Ever since we left the castle -- you have been a different person, and are wanting to take too much responsibility."
"Garrett I am a princess! I HAVE--"
"You do not!"
Kura's eyes grew wide as she stared into the mirror, not understanding where Garrett was coming from, and why he was saying this. She hesitated before turning to face him, her eyebrows turning down to question him and he continued.
"There is a saying that my father used to tell me... 'Glass half full, glass half empty; either way you won't be thirsty.'" He inhaled and stepped closer, "Count your blessings my princess, not your sorrows.... you have lost it all, and you are starting to lose yourself. But there is no much more.. and you can reclaim your crown."
He reached out and ran his fingers through her hair, delicately braiding the strands and guiding her to relax. It was like he had done this before, for another girl, a long time ago. "You are in control, put all those thoughts to rest... you can be Kura again."
He pulled the strand behind her, away from her face and she looked up at him through the mirror, "You don't know what all this is about, and you are too wrapped up in your self doubt," he patted her head gently and smiled, "You have that youngblood, now set it free."
She looked down and breathed softly, "Garrett....there is a method to my madness..."
"You don't gain anything from sadness... you deserve to be happy once again. Smile tonight princess.." With that, he left, closing the door behind him and walking down the long hallway. His eyes watering as he held the stone at his neck and his mind racing to when she first gave it to him. That was many years ago, and she was a different woman now.
She exhaled and turned to the mirror, finishing her hair as she waited for her summons to join Perseus and Asthar in the foyer. Kura's glance traced the hallway, but she didn't see Garrett standing outside her door like normal and quietly walked by herself to the main hall where she would smile and walk up to her awaiting friends.

[attr="class","libody"]In reality, she merely coughed as her tea caught in her throat; but in her mind she was spewing it from her lips. Her eyes were wide as she glanced from Asthar to Percy rapidly. Kids!? Wasn't that thinking a bit far ahead? Like she IS an adult and all, but she was still young --though a King needs an heir. A concept she knew very well, as she has two siblings that hold rights to the throne of Hyrule. HOWEVER, she found herself dumbfounded at Asthar's comment, which most likely projected the two of them together.
'Is this really happening?'
Her eyes rested on Percy for just a moment before she closed them and pushed back her tea cup softly. "I have heared about how Lynna seems to light up and glow come nightfall... that would.. indeed be a sight I would love to see the most." Before she could have a chance to say more, the sound of footsteps caught her attention and she turned to see her retainer bowing politely before the three of them. "Forgive my intrusion, I only come to reassure my Lady's departure in a few hours."
"I am sorry Garret, I will be staying here tonight after all."
Though she couldn't see it, his dark eyebrow twitched in irritation as he just gave his best smiled and a swift bow "Of course my lady. Is there anything else you require?"
"Yes..... come here," she said swiftly and waving him over. Garrett tilted his head in confusion before walking over to her seat bending at the waist as she talked into his ear, "I need you to buy me a dress."
Taken aback he stammered a bit, "My lady? You have a change of clothing in the caravan we brought." "Don't argue with me Garrett, I need something nicer than that rugged one. Go into town and get me something... Lynna."
A soft sigh was hidden by a swift response "Yes my lady, I will confirm with housekeeping in where you will be staying and have it ready for you as well."
A smile of satisfaction crossed her lips as she thanked and appreciated her retainers efforts, dismissing him once more to go on his mission in which she entrusted him. 'Please, my goddess... give him a good fashion sense.'

[attr="class","libody"]Blue eyes lifted from the table as his question had registered in her mind. Of course she didn't really think that, but deep down she did wonder if she was even slightly good enough for him. He was a prince --well now a king, and she was just some middle child with no ties to anything anymore. But what followed his question, nearly left her a quivering mess on the floor. Her cheeks instantly burned and the room felt quite hot. She didn't continue to touch the tea in front of her because she was afraid that it would simply evaporate out of her cup if it would come too close to her. She was utterly speechless; incapable of exclaiming how his declaration had filled her with hope.
"P-p... My king...I don't know what to say.." she stuttered through before pushing past the lump that grew in her throat. She wanted to tell him; to reveal everything she felt, but she was scared and instead kept her mouth shut. 'Hylia help me...' she thought in silence as she glanced between Perseus and Asthar.
After moments passed she bit on her bottom lip and managed to squeak out a few sensible words, "I have yet to see the city, or much of the palace. P-perhaps you could be so kind as to escort me around after tea?" It was a bit rough, but she somehow worked up the courage to ask Perseus to continue spending some of his time with her. 'If Zelda were here... she would kill me for sure.' Not that her sister was a bloodthirsty heathen, but Kura taking time like this was not pragmatic at all.

[attr="class","libody"]Kura was just finishing the small meal she was given when a sudden outburst from Perseus ensnared her attention. He snapped at Asthar, causing her to blink and raise an eyebrow in suspicious curiosity, questioning the conversation they were having. 'Clueless Romantic?.. Oh they must be referring to the undeniable attraction that Perseus has for my sister...' Kura lowered her gaze, staring at the reflection given off by her tea as she thought about the unreciprocated feelings Percy had for Zelda, and herself for him. It was like a triangle, --with Link somewhere on the side. A sigh left her lips and her shoulders fell slightly in her exaggerated disappointment.
He carried on to address her concerns about Zelda, and Link, and in her mind she could only think about the conversation between Asthar and himself. They were talking about women, and she felt her cheeks burn in embarrassment. 'You will find the girl of your dreams... eventually' A lump grew in her throat and her palms in a cold sweat.
"Oh if only you knew..." she mumbled to herself as he directed the conversation between them all to Asthar. She was a bit surprised in his response and nodded to his inquiry about her formalities, "Of course Asthar, you have my thanks."
It was pleasing to know that she wasn't intruding on anything important, and Kura smiled, until the Holodrum king revealed his true intent. Her eyes widened and her mouth fell agape. He wanted her help to find Perseus a woman....Her heart sped up, and she about pounced out of her chair in dispute, barely finding the resolve to look away and give a soft agreeance. "I-I... I mean I suppose I can h-help."
“Though to be honest I think you and Percy would make a very cute couple”
That was it, she was done. Her mind frazzled at the thought that he said it out loud, and she couldn't lie or betray her own heart. Kura stammered, her face as red as a tomato. "A-Asthar please! I-I... I am not f-fit for a king like himself"
'NOO WHAT ARE YOU SAYING YOU IDIOT!'
She did it, she lied, though poorly, and betrayed herself. This would have been a prime time to confess her attraction to the king, but instead she was a sitting fool who steamed in her chair.

[attr="class","libody"]Kura hung her head, biting on her bottom lip in thought. He had a point, but all they had to go off of was stories. Legends passed down from generation to generation; skewed to the point where they might be unrecognizable to the legendary figures themselves. All she knew for certain was the happenings of today; her sister eagerly waiting for a moment that MIGHT never come, and a kingdom tearing itself apart.
“It’s not so much that I think my sister incapable…. It’s just that… we all want what is best, for both her and Hyrule.” she sighed and lifted her gaze to give Perseus a smile, and nodding in Asthar’s direction, “She is lucky to have friends like you two.”
She lifted her cup to her lips before raising interest in Percy’s question, setting the ceramic down and pursing her lips before speaking, “I do believe he can be saved. I have no evidence to support that claim, or even the slightest idea how to go about it; but my sister thinks so, and I trust her.”
Kura furrowed her brows and lifted her hand to slid under her jaw, pressing the pad of her thumb to her chin. “My only concern is the devastation that will brought if she is unable to rescue him.”
Unwilling to think about the subject any longer she cleared her throat, “I will ask my brother to look out for Hyrule's best interests, should he also accept that Zelda should focus her current efforts on regaining peace to the remaining world, but that is an exchange for another day.”
Looking to Asthar, “My apologies on interrupting your meeting with King Perseus, if it is a burden than perhaps I can be escorted to my room? We can reconvene for dinner? I am not sure how long you are staying here as well my liege.”

[attr="class","libody"] It was impossible to hide the embarrassment that was plastered across her face like a high price billboard. Kura’s cheeks grew a tomato red, and her eyes wide in response to Perseus offering food along with their tea. She clenched her jaw, pulling the porcelain cup closer, her shaking hand leading the soft clinking ceramic dish to her lips.
Closing her eyes she sipped the still hot tea, enjoying the natural scents it provided, which were welcoming in comparison to the wilderness setting around the three of them. She kept her eyes shut, setting down the cup as she listened to Perseus, and she nodded in return.
“I would appreciate the stay. I had hoped to see more of Lynna City before returning. In fact maybe a night or two, though I do not want to impose and can certainly find a room in town if it is too much.” Her gaze lifted to meet the returning servant, who eagerly brought plates of horderves to decorate the table as well as a steaming pot of stew which caused her mouth to immediately water.
It smelled fantastic and she could barely hold herself back from devouring it; though the princess held her manners and kept her posture as she dipped her utensil into the thick substance to bring it to her mouth. It was a minute or two of silence from Kura, while Perseus leaned to whisper to Asthar; about what, she didn’t know, or bother to know. It was between them, however she was followed with an abrupt question that raised her eyebrow.
“Oh? Uh-- Quite so I think,” her eyes moved to rest on him, and her cheeks flushed once more before she found herself averting his gaze and setting her spoon to rest on the plate.
She hesitated; the words catching in her throat, forcing her to push past the growing lump to continue. After a swift inhale she placed her hands on the table. “I agree with you wholeheartedly my king; it has been four long years, and it was quite time that we came out of the shadows. Perhaps then we could lead a strong opposition against the guild in Hyrule and return to Castle Town,” she kept her gaze locked on Perseus, “I am against my sister taking the throne.”
An absurd notion, she knew, and she also could already feel the piercing reaction. Perseus was one of Zelda's strongest followers, and she would have to continue carefully.
“Zelda has a duty to Hyrule… but she also has a duty to the world. The same lands that slowly continue to fall into darkness with each passing day. She cannot keep us in the light, and assume her position as queen, and I find that putting the latter over the former will only assure our demise.”
Kura stopped momentarily to sip her tea once more, clearing her throat with the warm and soothing liquid. “In truth I think the throne is a distraction to her, and Hyrule would be best served by a royal with less pressing matters; one that can prioritize Hyrule itself.”
She pursed her lips, “Thinking about it, if Zelda took the throne again; do you earnestly feel that she could devote herself to both? She is the Goddess incarnate, and is currently the only opposition between the lands and darkness --with Link missing…It’s not that I don’t trust my sister; just thinking what is best for a recovering kingdom.”

[attr="class","libody"] Earnestly surprised at how protective Perseus was, Kura was taken aback and swiftly waved her hand to dismiss the idea that she was in immediate danger. It really wasn’t anything that dire, but still required for a face to face conversation --that and Kura begged.
She smiled gently as the King escorted the two of them down a hall and into an open room. Her eyes grew wide at the beautiful sight and she could help the gasp that defied her and slipped past her lips. The scent of water filled her nose, accompanied by the sweet waft of lavender and tart berries. It honestly was enough to make her heart flutter, and her stomach growl.
Kura gasped and rested her hands against her angered insides and gave an embarrassed expression, a sweat drop forming on her twitching brow, “Forgive me, It was really a long trip,” she responded as she was sure the sounds of her rumbling stomach found its way into her ear.
She sat across from Asthar, smoothing her dress behind her and folding her hands in her lap after adjusting. “Yes I have never been to Lynna City, much less Labyrnna.” It was a terrible truth, but before she was old enough, the world was already spiraling into despair and she was locked into the castle grounds.
Lifting her hand to brush her auburn hair behind her ear, Kura cleared her throat, “I suppose there is little sense in waiting much longer,” she said softly, her eyes lifting from the table to rest on King Perseus, “As you know, I was in Castle Town, working on shipments of accommodations from supporters to my sisters cause. Which as you also know, fell through.”
Her voice trailed off into a soft laugh that only furthered the idea of how nervous she was, “Unfortunately the guild in Castle Town has only deepened their caution towards outgoing shipments and has intimidated any contacts we had into submission.”
Kura leaned back into her chair with a defeated look on her face, “You, as the crown do so much for us already, and we hate to ask for more, but our supplies are growing low.” Sitting forward she would hang her head in respect, “My sister pleads for your aid…”
