A LEGEND OF ZELDA ROLEPLAY
Welcome to ZRP! We are an non-canon RP site with an original tale taking place within the
lore of the Zelda Franchise. While the events of this site are entirely non-canon, we take advantage of the canons of other
games to explain its story fully. As such, we are located within the CANON TIMELINE. Do you like what you see? If so, feel free
to register and join our story! If you have any questions, you can join our discord, located in our important links!
[attr="class","Vgentext"] There are some rules when it comes to heading into the dungeon. The first step being to register here for which dungeon you want to head into! However, before you jump into that, there are a few things that you need to understand before running to go on your adventure.
[attr="class","Vgentext"] Standard dungeons could be located anywhere on the map. Just pick an area and make it your own! You could search an abandoned cave, fort, or anything you can think of, as long as it does not parallel an existing Temple. [BREAK][BREAK] Standard dungeons are meant to be easier than temples, and as such do not have final bosses in them. They can have mini-bosses in them, but ultimately you will not be facing a larger boss at the end with a giant golden chest. [BREAK][BREAK] Loot will be decided by staff, however if you're looking to get rare items, you may want to dive into an actual temple. Standard dungeons will normally only drop rupees, weapons, and if you're lucky, a weak magical weapon.
These are some dungeons you may find familiar; although some of the information has been altered for the sake of our plot. Please read the info accordingly, as some of these dungeons may be restricted unless you talk to whomever is ruler of the territory it lays within. [BREAK][BREAK]
THE FOREST TEMPLE
Located within the lost woods, it has been sleeping for many years until recently. Due to the influence of the Fairy Monarch, there is legend that incredible artifacts lay hidden if you can prove yourself worthy by defeating the final boss.
THE FIRE TEMPLE
Located on Death Mountain, it is known to be within the heart of the volcano. An incredibly sacred and well known area to deem yourself worthy as a "sworn brother" of the Gorons, many become motivated to defeat the boss within the temple lair to prove themselves as a champion. [BREAK][BREAK] ***All non-goron races are required to use red dye when entering this dungeon. [BREAK][BREAK]
THE WATER TEMPLE
Located at the bottom of Lake Hylia, this temple is heavily secured by Seekers. [BREAK][BREAK] ***All non-zora races are required to use blue dye when entering this dungeon. [BREAK][BREAK]
THE SHADOW TEMPLE
The sleeping grounds for many defected Sheikah who were buried beneath Kakariko Village, it is said that many unrest spirits still haunt the halls of this dungeon, waiting for newcomers who try to earn glory from the Sheikah Clan. Often times, the Sheikah Elder will appoint a party to put the spirits at rest, however it will be very difficult for them to trust an outsider. If you are able to win their trust, you're in for a terrifying quest. [BREAK][BREAK] ***In order to gain access to the Sheikah Temple, you must have a Lens of Truth (if you are not a sheikah) and state your case to the Sheikah Council. [BREAK][BREAK]
THE SPIRIT TEMPLE
It is considered to be a great honor by the Gerudo Tribe for someone to be able to complete the Spirit Temple. While the Gerudo city is completely restricted to the male race... if you can prove yourself worthy by defeating this temple, you will be granted access as well as be seen as a champion. [BREAK][BREAK]
THE SKY TEMPLE
A temple located within the Floating Hills, it is protected by the ruler of New Skyloft. While getting there (if you can't fly) may seem like the hardest part, getting the official permission of the mayor may be your biggest obstacle yet.
The maximum amount of monsters you may spawn in a STANDARD DUNGEON is 15. The maximum amount of monsters you may spawn in a TEMPLE is 30.
[break][break] Maximum amount of monsters per dungeon dive ensures that players do not abuse the system of Player Controlled Monster Spawn. Dungeon Dives do not HAVE to reach the MAXIMUM amount of Monsters defeated, that is just the highest number you can defeat in a dungeon dive before creating a new thread. This controls inflation of rupees, and item drops.
