PERSONALITY
Characterized by his stoic and brooding personality, Agni is generally aloof and indifferent, though he is not incapable of genuine kindness and a protective demeanor. He tends to act in a critical and controlling manner, stemming from the high expectations he faced as a child, which forced him to take on adult responsibilities at a young age. After Agni lost his mother, he was left behind a dragon egg that was passed down from his grandfather, the Goron Elder. Agni was incredibly attached to the egg, only to find it to hatch when he was just a young boy. This gave him a lot of attention growing up, giving him a "hard-edge", though he seems to relax when he is with friends, or when he achieves something important.
Going with his hard edge, Agni has a wrathful side to him as well, having the capacity to kill or harm anyone who wrongs his loved ones. He had a deep admiration for grandfather, however often wondering where his father may be. During his early training, Agni was a bitter, impatient, and complex young man. More than anything, he wanted to prove himself when his dragon would come of age, on the day they would be able to speak to one another. Agni believed, or forced himself to believe, that showing his strength and ability to gain power would make these wishes come true.
Agni believed one becomes strong by struggling and fighting for what they want. His reaction to the perception of the world always set against him is an iron-willed defiance and inflexible determination. He was clever, yet hot-headed, often letting his temper get the best of him. He seemed averse to the thought of harming others without any motive or benefit. He rarely thinks his situations through, causing him to get in trouble.
Agni had other contradictory traits, beliefs, and behaviors. He was domineering and controlling, a result of his constant expectation of improving in his training, and disdained working with people he believed were inferior; yet he adamantly refused to view people as expendable. He believed it was wrong to sacrifice able-bodied and willing troops as a diversionary tactic.
The prospect of returning home from his training in mountains was Agni's sole motivation. When he was finally able to return home and be with his people to prepare Dinara’s nest, he became more patient, kind, precise, and calculating; said traits necessary to become an enlightened sage.
These traits became dominant after Agni began devoting himself to praying under Din. Agni thought he had everything he ever wanted: a position of honor, respect, and trust. However, he still felt angry and confused. His triumph was nothing like he imagined it would be if he had been accepted back home. It was then that he discovered his affinity to the Fire Temple.

HISTORY
Daragni was born into a respected family of Goron City, his grandfather being the Elder. His father seemed not to be present within his family life, and as such, the elder acted as his fatherly figure. His mother was gifted a stone egg from his father before he had disappeared, which she then passed to him and told him to protect. He lived a pretty normal childhood until he was about seven years old, when his mother unexpectedly passed of a disease known as the Calamity.
Without a mother, he was taken in by his grandfather, since his father still seemed to be missing. It was then, that one night, while he was sitting in his room, his stone egg began to smoke up and crumble, and a dragon had hatched. Taking a closer look, the dragon had locked eyes with the boy, as a breath of fire flashed in his eyes, burning the entire left side of his face.His grandfather knew what this meant, and the dragon had now imprinted Daragni as its master.
With this in mind, The Elder had sent his grandson off to Snowpeak, where the last known shrine to the Goddesses rest. A young boy, living in a frigid temple alone with months who represented each race taught him the importance of meditation, rationing his belongings, and the art of Dragon Tongue - a unique language that allows one to speak to a dragon.
He spent eight years here, isolated from his friends and family, until the age of 16, when he was finally able to return home. Now with a young dragon that was able to communicate with him to some degree, which had told him its name was Dinnara, he would begin his new career as a Dragon Tamer - one who watched over the daughter of Din at the highest point of Death Mountain's palace.
Because of how close he was to the Fire Temple, he often had strange feelings of worry whenever he found himself near the gap of the volcano. When the Legendary Hero had been revealed, he often thought of what would happen to his people, and as though something terrible had tainted their land.
As war bruised their numbers, and the queen of the Hylians seemed to be taken from her home, he often wondered what would happen, now with the outpour of humans that had congregated within Kakariko Village - some even taking refuge in their own city. It was then, while he had spoken with Dinnara, that he decided that he would travel to each temple to pray to the gods. When he had made his first pilgramige to the Fire Temple, he was suddenly awoken with the power of magic. It was then, that the dragon had revealed that the spirits sing of him being the Sage of Fire, and that his destiny fell upon Hyrule to aid the Queen.

APPEARANCE
Daragni is described as tall, toned, and swift in movement in contrast to the bulky, built gorons he grew up with. He has pointed ears with an angular jaw, accompanied by tan skin and nut brown hair. His eyes are of amber like his mother's, glistening like the sun. Has has an impressive imprint which is scarred into his entire arm in the shape of a dragon, as a sign that he is the true master of the Daughter of Din, Dinara the Dragon.
Agni goes through several outfits, one of them being his normal adventuring attire, which consists of a maroon robe of gold trim with burgundy pants. When in casual wear, he simply sports a gray tunic with black buckled boots, and a black hood.
MAGIC
+ Fire Resistance: The goron race reside in hot climates, and were once a race of stone, making them immune to the touch of flames.
+ Tough Skin: Because of their evolution from a stone race, the goron people still retain a tough skin that allows protection from blunt weapons.
- Weak to Water: Gorons do not bode well with water (however this does not mean that they cannot swim!) and will take extra damage from water type magic.
