This causes alot of grief for the young bird, and is the reason for her many disappearances, as she has the childish notion that running away will solve her problems. The problem with this, is that she is the child of the chief, and has many expectations as such. [break][break] She was born different, possessing feathers of color, and hair comparable to the wild light of fire. To the tribe elders this was a sign of the sky spirit Valoo, and they knew that this babe was special. Thus she had been treated differently than the rest of her clan. [break][break] Despite her immature tendencies, Luka desires the comfort of acceptance and has gone out of her way throughout her life to gain it; from both her peers and her parents. Upon hitting a certain age, she had taken an inkling to gain some responsibility and with guidance found herself best suited as a vanguard for her clan. [break][break] Thus she gained her freedom to fly the skies.

From the ground she can use this to take off quickly, and if she already has momentum it can carry her up to the speed of 75 mph (33 m/s). As a defense maneuver Luka can use this gust of wind to stun an enemy for a moment so she can either escape of subdue her opponent. [break][break] + Flight: The Rito possess the ability to fly due to their feathery wings. [break][break] + Heat Resistance: Perhaps because of their previous home to volcanoes in the past, the Rito find it easy to live in hot climates.[break][break] Bow: a common Yew bow crafted by her father upon her acceptance into the clan guard. Made for her size it is a bit shorter than a longbow, standing at a height of 3.4 feet. With its softened drawback, the max distance that she can accurately shoot is reduced to 250 yards if she is standing still, and 100 yards if she is moving. **Accuracy is not guaranteed 100%**[break][break] Hobbies: Luka enjoys playing a wide range of instruments, but by far her favorite is the Guzheng. Beyond playing this timeless instrument, she also is a frequent visitor of her mother's garden. As well, Luka spends her leisure time practicing the craft of making Tea and reciting known poetry.
