The desire to cause harm upon a mortal was not a feeling she was accustomed to. In a sense, it was an emotion that fairy's were not allowed to feel, or taught, as a means of protecting themselves. Galatea was no common fairy however, and in her possession she held more power than most sentient beings on the isle. She was no longer bound to the conventional ideology given to them from creation.
Looking past the blatant slander, Galatea hovered over the pit in which she was sure this 'friend' of her's seemed to have vanished into. She did not share the mortal's mournful spirit, but she refrained from making light of death. Except the stranger announced that she would avoid death, as if she was on level with Galatea herself.
How did this come to be? Immortality was not a gift given freely to those that did not deserve it; as a blessing and as a curse. She radiated a magical essence in a unique signature, and it was one that Galatea could not identify. Who was this woman?
"I understand you have lived throughout time, --yet you only retain a small part of your memory? I know of many fairy's who suffer the same lack of mental fortitude and never find themselves again. It is easier to start over and be the person you want to be instead of chasing what you were," she echoed, her small frame illuminating the immediate area.
"If you wish to delve deeper into the temple, I pray you are careful. As you have been assured, we are not the only things that stand against time, and this construct is very much alive in the same sense that we are. It will not show mercy...and--," Galatea paused, "I hope you will leave all manner of ancient items to me. There is something within the walls of this reliquary that I search for."
While her arrangement with the Holodrum King was fruitful, it did not produce the results she desired, and or anticipated. Instead she was reduced to having to do a majority of her own research, like she had for years prior, --but none the less she got the conclusion she wanted.
Her search for the triforce shards would not come without some labor and risk of security however, which was emphasized by the fact she had to enter the forest temple to retrieve a sliver of the product. Despite her disdain to desecrate a relic older than herself, her morals were overpowered by her own lust for the shard, and she started her journey towards the lost woods.
To her surprise, the entrance to the temple was unsealed, aiding in the thought that the construct was no longer sacrosanct and had been long raided and occupied by bandits.
"Tch," her tongue clicked as she picked up the hem of her gown before entering the stone monument. If the place was picked clean, then perhaps she would have to search elsewhere, --but she hoped to find some remaining desecrating rogues in order to torture them for information she wanted.
A few paces past the threshold and she was already greeted with the sight of possible traps ready to spring upon the unsuspecting, and her irritation grew. She had no time for something so mundane, and instead a source of concentrated magic pool between her shoulder blades. Silver wings that once trailed behind her came to life as her entire being transformed, minimizing into that of an ordain fairy. No larger than a round flask, her existence glowed in the dark temple as she flew down halls and over corridors.
In her mind she captured the sense of magic, following it until she took sight of a mortal frame paired with the sound of stone grinding against itself.
"What do you think you are doing!?" Galatea demanded to know as she approached the female. Perhaps this was one of the thieves who sought after the treasures within the temple.
CREATOR'S GRASP: After receiving her second triforce shard, Galatea began experimentation on the power she newly possessed. Using elements not so foreign to mortal material, Galatea is able to create Stalfos for her use. The amount of Stalfos made is determined by the amount of material in her possession. The created strength of the undead is nothing more than a common monster. In appearance, the Stalfos are five foot five inch skeletons with assorted rusted armor and weaponry.
For simplicity, Galatea is only able to create one Stalfos for combat purposes using the ground bone powder and metal sliver held in a personal pouch that is kept on her person at all times.
Far beyond her time, Farore created all living things in the world, --one of which was the Deku Tree and the great fairies tasked with preservation of nature. With time, even the smallest creatures could obtain enough power and rise within their own laws and customs, and Galatea freed herself from the Lost Woods and moved to a new domain with many of her brethren. Magic concentrated in the Woods of Winter, an oasis forming in the center and providing and optimal home for her fairies. The lesser beings flocked around their monarch, finding solace in her protection for all of time. She had became Empress Galatea. [break][break] Every so often did a brave traveler stand steadfast against the elements to gain her blessing, or come with a babe to receive good fortune. These visits always provided some amount of respite and entertainment to her court, as they were often accompanied with many objects of curiosity for the fairies. None the less, in her corner of the world Galatea was far from being consumed by the greed and envy of mortality. [break][break] At least, until it fell into her possession. Faced with temptations, it was all too easy for the monarch to become absorbed in the ephemeral. [break][break] A little over 400 years ago, a sensation gripped at the heart of the fairy, calling her to a secluded place within her domain. Traveling through the snow, she found a sight she was accustomed to, yet in his presence he possessed something magical. Unbeknownst to the Empress, she had pulled from the snow frozen man, a sliver of the Tri Force. Its radiance surged with her touch, causing the ancient being to flinch with confusion. What was this object, and why did it emit magic with a similar concentrate to the goddess? [break][break] Months of theory, testing, and she soon became addicted to it's brilliance. The possession of the shard had imbued the Empress with capabilities on par with the Fairy Queen; opening up opportunity to further her reign. Such thoughts were unbecoming of a Fairy, but her ambition couldn't be subdued and the Empress would send out her fairy's in search of information on the shattered artifact and how she could come to obtain more. [break][break] After some time, the Empress had sought out the Holodrum King, pulling him into her scheme. She would collect the Triforce Shards, giving her more power than before. Without hesitation, the Fairy marched into the Glade. With strong divine power, Galatea destroyed Aesilia, usurping her throne and taking dominion over all of the fairies. [break][break] However, her newly found reign would not go without a cost. Shortly after obtaining her newly achieved throne, the fairy would find her power diminished. A great calling pulled the shards from her possession, dissipating into the ether. Divine presence gone, the fairy was left with only her own capabilities as a great protective hold was put over Hyrule. With the loss of Labrynna and Holodrum, --the fairy was left with only her court.

BLESSING: As a Great Fairy, Galatea can imbue objects and beings with her ample magic. This can have varying effects depending on the item or person, but most of the time she is able to either increase the strength of an item's durability, or rejuvenate a mortal's stamina and spirit. This process takes but a few moments, but blessing in rapid succession can leave Galatea fatigued. [break][break]
HEALING: Fairies possess the ability to heal wounds over an amount of time. The more posts spent healing, the more of the wound is healing, depending on the severity of it. Fairies can also give up their lives to resurrect a fallen ally. [break][break]
FLIGHT: All fairies have the ability to fly. [break][break]
WEAK TO DARKNESS: While Fairies can use their form to light up the shadows, they also take more damage from dark magic attacks.
