With naked feet upon squishy soil, Konungr marched on. With a harden golden gaze that could cripple even the most lionhearted of kings, the goron champion marched on. And with one of the goddesses which constructed this land and all that inhabit it guiding his purest hearts of hearts, the kind chieftain marched on. Konungr followed the beaten path, senses picking up a soft wind which blew from the east. The closer he drew to the ruins that pierced the mighty treetops, the more eyes fixated upon his cloaked person. He was no fool, he felt the presence of other living beings—their benevolent energy circulating all around this place. It was a very much welcomed feeling than the darkness that wrapped around the other parts of the woodland. But these beings didn't trust him, if he had a goron forged knife, he would have cut the thick tension.
He made it known he meant no harm to the dwellers of this realm, he walked tall; proud and kingly. Then, something whispered to him, a spirit from the past; words in one ear and out the other in an eerie way. It seemed, directly ahead of him, whatever it was that he sought, would be down that same beaten path he trudged down. Konungr ceased his steps, his vision focusing on a slab of rock to the left of him. Strolling over to said stone, he took a seat—one leg up to his chest while the other locked in place, flatfooted on the squishy soil below. He cleared his throat and closed his eyes—a low whisper followed afterwards, one the east wind would carry to the esteemed heir.
"Hylian Heir, it's good to know you're good and well. However, If I continue further down this path, I'm afraid I'd be bombarded with arrows by those that protect you. Come, further down and you'll see me. We need to talk."

An earthbound giant strolled through the forest protected by mystical forces. The subtle surreal feeling washed over his armor-akin skin—this place hasn't changed a bit, even years after the faithful event that put their country in shambles. Konungr; Goron Chieftain and activist trekked through the thick foliage, and magical labyrinths—his pure heart and lay of land skills guiding him through the maze of evils bane. The trees spoke to him, his gentle touch upon the hard bark showing him the path like a vision impaired person reading cryptic braille.
"I'm on the right path."
Konungr pressed onward, his wit about him as he proceeded deeper into the mystic forest. The giant sported a brown colored cloak that covered most of his hardened visage, but all of his formidable physique. The cloak he wore represented the unity of the Hylian's and the Goron—it was a mix and match of both crests in gold trim with extravagant designs around the unified crest. Normally he would never have sported such an important item out for a venture, but this was no normal outing—he was within the woods were nightmares are born for a reason.
Midstep, bandaged foot tapping heavily upon the lush grass. Konungr froze in place as the sound of a piercing howl disturbed his search. It was close, the sound of canine beasts circling him within the dense forest that surrounded him. The Goron moved not an single inch, his senses in overdrive as he prepared for a bout with wayward beasts. His eyes narrowed as savage beasts leaped, a pack of Wolfos with primed claws attacked the chieftain with killing intent. One landed on the back of the giant, fangs attempting to dig into the neck of Konungr—the damned beasts nearly broke all its teeth in the process. Konungr reached up for the monster, grabbed it by the head with a massive paw, and flipped it over his shoulder—slamming it with immense force on the ground below and nearly breaking every bone in its body in one mighty attempt.
Another attacked, leaping for the front of the goron. Konungr simply caught the beast by the face and crush its skull with enough physical pressure that could turn even the mightiest of boulders into rubble; he then tossed the carcass at another approaching Wolfos; ridding them both. Now there was one, bigger than the other three and twice as savage with blooded claws to boot. It dashed at the goron with impressive speeds and they engaged in a brief dance. Konungr held the beast off by holding the monsters mouth open with both hands. He spun and took the monstrous canine down with his knee pinning it down—hands still holding the monsters mouth wide open. Then, snap; Konungr proceeded to break the jaw of the massive beast—moth and jaw practically opening a full 180 degrees when it was all said in done.
"It is no longer safe within these woods. I hope my search is for not. What of the Forest Dwellers? I will return with aid if they need it." He was in no place to offer any more assistance to the people of Hyrule, but, to his last fleeting breath, he'd do what he could to make sure everyone could feel safety in this most daunting of times. Dead ahead round eyes took in the sites of the Hylian Ruins, he rose to his feet and pressed onward—heavy steps as his gaze remained fixated forward. The moment of truth was near.

TITLE/NICKNAME: The Chieftain, Iron Giant, Konungr of Hyrule .
RACE: Goron .
AGE: Twenty-Six .
GENDER: Male .
SEXUALITY: Heterosexual .
PERSONALITY
PERSONALITY DESCRIPTION:{Neutral-Good} A neutral good character does the best that a good person can do. He is devoted to helping others. He works with kings and magistrates but does not feel beholden to them.
At first glance, he comes off as distance, standoffish, and cold due to the mannerisms he displays to those around him. He is a man of very few words and rather watch events unfold opposed to adding his own commentary on the matter at hand. He has witnessed massacres without batting a single eyelash. He has killed countless without it weighing on his psyche. And has delivered life crippling news without pulling any punches to both spouses and children alike. Those around him and have a solid understanding link the inhumane traits to his Goron heritage and upbringing under the Norse name. The amount of fact the claim holds means very little due to the fact he has a title in which weakness cannot be shown. If having an heartless aura about himself is the drawback, so be it.
However, despite the icy exterior he shows, the interior of The Chieftain is warm, caring, loving, and nurturing. He has a very soft side that is difficult to explain in words, yet very easy to understand action wise. He is extremely protective of those that require his aid to the point where such a protective trait rivals that of a mother bear protecting her young. All while being fatherly like male penguins perched on top the unhatched egg of their seed. This side of him is commonly seen but goes unnoticed due to the overbearing icy front. Children tend to take notice more often than not; dubbing him "Big Brother" while mothers see the stoic beast as the ultimate caretaker and have the feeling they should be learning a thing or two from him. These traits are common within Norse Goron men; his father and forefathers were the exact same way. His kindness was obtained from his mother (he is a momma's boy and proud of it). From a very young age he dubbed her the embodiment of kindness, joy, and beauty. He has always wanted to do right in her eyes, so, in order to do just that. He took a piece of what he cherished most about her and made it apart of himself.
Being the final of voice of the city in which he rules, he tends to have monk like virtue when dealing with his people or citizens. When dealing with the citizens that distribute to keeping the village wealthier than most. He listens to their concerns with keen amber eyes and typically face to face when possible. Being The Chieftain makes such meetings rather impossible at times, but he manages if the situation calls for something of that caliber. He offers very few words due to his observant nature, but his words are always reassuring and will put to rest any and every issue almost instantly. His warriors see a more "casual" side of him, however. These loyal men and women shed blood, sweat, and tears to make sure their home stays safe and a place worth living. He thanks them by showing human emotion; showing he himself isn't just another machine bred for war and neither are they. He spouts subtle jokes, shares his taste in women, discusses personal matters between the high ranking warriors or elders, and so on. He isn't much of a prankster, but he enjoys a good prank at the expense of himself or others that can take such whimsy with stride.
Though he is still young and relatively new to the title bestowed upon him through the passing of the previous Chief; and his father. Like all persons, he has those "moments" where his actions or subtle words may not be ideal for the given situation. Norse Goron are warriors; born to hunt, born to thrive, and born to expand and adapt. Being taught that from a very young age, he has adopted a very arrogant and egotistical mindset about himself and his "branch". He holds himself to expectations so high; so unreachable, he makes it almost possible through sheer willpower alone. That being said, when he fails, he gets angry; belligerent, vulgar, and barbaric. He is known to "bicker" in his own little way; engaging in subtle back and fourth banter between himself and another. He is fully aware of such distasteful behavior, but completely erasing a side of yourself is no easy feat when it's the primary side one embraces for so long prior to sudden change. But being the village loving and self respecting man that he is. He will own up to his toxic behavior and make amends... Eventually. Enemies of the Goron are faced with this tsunami tall side of the current Chieftain and then some, without the chance of amendment afterwards.
LIKES:
▶ conditioning || a healthy mind coupled with a healthy body can conquer any physical or mental feat. something konungr believes wholeheartedly and follows as if a principle to life. when he isn't handling ruler-esque ventures, he can be found partaking in martial arts or within the extensive goron library brushing up on general—and not so general—knowledge. ▶ meditation || norse goron; a sub-species of the goron race have a strong connection with the spirit realm. through long and peaceful meditation, certain norse goron—typically those of noble or warrior blood can tap into the realm. once within, one out of every twenty that do this are capable of communicating with the past leaders of yore—achieving enlightenment, guidance, and a ear fool of displeasure. before konungr makes any major move regarding his people and their village. he first communicates with the leaders of the past. afterwards; regardless of the outcome, he goes to the current goron elders. this way, his final decision is true and thorough. ▶ jasmine tea || every ruler has a guilt pleasure, correct? konungr's happens to be the bitter taste of jasmine tea; a warm beverage his forefathers before him drank to sooth their nerves when nerves needed to be soothed the most. ▶ hunting || norse goron males, from a very young age are taught to hunt and supply for their brothers. if you can't hunt, you can't eat; simple as that. konungr; being the heir to the throne had such a mindset instilled much sooner than most other norse goron boys. while the others were out playing and practicing their kata, konungr had already perfected the art of supplying to his people. ▶ lap dances || again, every man has a guilty pleasure.
DISLIKES:
▶ politics || politics lead to war, hardships, disloyal intent, and a mans true colors. that being said, konungr has a huge dislikes for politics for the mentioned reasons above. he is a life loving and peaceful ruler hellbent on keeping his people out of war if he can help it. but involve him in politics which lead to such injustices, a masterful tactician ready to wipe out an entire nation in one mighty swoop he becomes. ▶ disrespect || being who he is; a gentle giant that has very little intention on throwing the first strike. despite his opposing size, can also come off as an easy target given the way he acts. disrespect konungr—put him in your crosshairs as an easy target and quickly find out why he is the furthest thing from such. ▶ self loathing || he has done plenty of this behind closed doors. but a man buries his own feelings and leads on with an attitude people are willing to follow and die for. over time he healed; like flesh wounds left alone to sit underneath gauze. the best way to get over ones own inner turmoil is to find something truly worth fighting for. ▶ corruption || konungr knows full world what corruption and darkness has done to hyrule in the past. if it strikes again, he will thwart it; bury it back within the depths from whence it sprung from. truthfully, like politics, he despises the mere thought of hardships and war for any race; goron, zora, all races. ▶ discrimination || goron have a stigma; giant dumb rocks who are only good as being mighty meat shields and forging great armor and weaponry. whenever he sees bigotry of any kind, he speaks out upon it; a deep voice speaking up upon it. discrimination can lead to an outcome no one is ready for and he wishes to avoid it if he can. though, it should be noted, obviously discrimination against his people hurts him more than anything else. but if he doesn't defend all, he is no worse than the bigot spouting a nonsensical agenda.
MOTIVATIONS:
☆ Find a cure for The Calamity; an unknown sickness contracted by the Goron every four-hundred years for thirty days and thirty nights . ☆ Locate his exiled blood brother and bring him home . ☆ Maintain a high morale for his people through this very troubling time.
FEARS:
☆ Death of his people, destruction of his village . ☆ Allowing The Calamity to claim more Goron lives . ☆ Hyrule never returning from the state in which it is currently in.
HISTORY:
* Hyrule in shambles, tensions rising, and without a royal family or even a heir to the throne, anarchy reigns supreme throughout the once flourishing land. Konungr—Goron Chieftain and Champion continues to rule with a kind and passionate heart. Many Hyrule citizens sought salvation within the esteemed Goron City, which he could not deny these wayward souls his assistance. Ever since the heir to the kingdom and the warrior of evils bane vanished, the state of the kingdom grew worse and worse as days pressed on and the moon traded places with the sun. However, Konungr pushed onward, he and his people.
* With Goron craftsmenship, The Goron outfitted themselves with the needed equipment to maintain some kid of order within the once grand kingdom. However, many of the Goron Elders disagreed with the tactics of their young Chieftain. Konungr long since realized helping every last body in the kingdom would be a feat short of impossible, so he and his elite warriors decided to secure the village at the base of the mountain and morph it into a safe heaven for those with no place to go. For the first time in his life, he went against the Elders orders and did what he thought was right—something his father and forefathers would have truly been against.
* Something picked away at Konungr, however—like a crow picking away at the decaying skin of a rotten corpse of war. The Goron were practically fighting two wars, the war in keeping the base of the mountain safe, and the war in the deepest part of Death Mountain. Monsters of unknown origin rise and attack with goals of taking over the entire mountain and the Goron Village. These monsters are directly linked to The Calamity; an illness which inflict The Goron and slowly turns them into stone effigies. Konungr and his people managed to keep the threat at bay with superior war tactics and Goron armor and weaponry. But the illness has Four Main Phases, the unknown monsters would only be The First Phase. Regardless, Konungr kept his head up and continued to lead his people to the best of his ability. Although, he couldn't help but wonder of the princesses well being and whereabouts. The spirits informed him she was still alive, but where in this great big continent could she be?
* Both wars drew ever so closer to the Goron City. The war within Death Mountain cut off a few main food supplies for the earthbound people of Hyrule along with some ore mines. Whereas the war at the base of Death Mountain, morale was at an all time low. People were convinced the heir was no more—had long since died and they are holding on for hope for virtually no reason. Regardless of what he said, regardless of how much insight and wisdom he spoke, the naysayers were always louder. People began leaving, thinking it wise to join other groups who have the right goals and ideas opposed to hoping for the hopeless. Those that did stay only stayed for the protection and shelter offered by Konungr and his people. Honestly, he couldn't blame any of them that stayed or left. Things were beginning to look extremely grim and he had no idea on how he should tackle both issues.
* A year later and very little progress has been made on both fronts—but he maintained. Konungr had issued spies to travel all across the land and attempt to locate the whereabouts of the heir, he did this with only a few trusted allies knowing his true intentions. Many leads; some dead; some not so dead; but leads nonetheless. Konungr had said spies follow them and narrowed said leads down to a few. The spirits of the past never gave him much insight regarding the whereabouts of the princess, but he knew she was alive... And somewhat close. He decided it time for him to take such a sensitive task into his own iron grip.
APPEARANCE
HEIGHT: 07'01
WEIGHT: 351 lbs
APPEARANCE DESCRIPTION:
Konungr is characterized having a hulking physique, white colored hair, and bright amber eyes. He fits these characterizations perfectly while leaving zero room for the imagination. He is the ideal image of 'formidable'. His ebony colored skin houses countless scars from past trials and tribulations. The neatly trimmed nest of white hair passes the earlobe while being naturally spiked after very minimal maintenance on Konungr's part. Visible washboard abs only add to the 'formidable' image of the current Chieftain while toned arms only further complement the defined chest area. The visage of the Goron is very similar to the rest of him, powerful and 'formidable'. Strong chin, big nose, full lips, the works. Being only Twenty-Six, he certainly looks the age, despite his elderly demeanor and mannerisms.
As mentioned above, Konungr is the very definition of 'formidable'. But such threatening characteristics are amplified ten times over in his natural state; his Goron state. Konungr maintains his humanoid appearance but the biggest difference between his two forms would undoubtedly be the texture in skin. When embracing everything that is Goron, Konungr's skin is stony, jagged, and harder than steel—maybe even harder than crystal. His eyes, once amber are now a pure gold. However, get him angry and they glow a searing hot white. Those that witness the titan in motion while in this state dub him "The Moving Statue" due to his stony appearance and perfectly sculptured physique.
STATISTICS
Strength: ★ ★ ★ ✰
[/b][/sup] - Konungr has very impressive physical statistics—his strength going well beyond the normal threshold of typical Goron. He is capable of preforming incredible physical feats of strength without breaking so much of a sweat or expelling a grunt. He is known to use his massive stone hands as bludgeons, bludgeons capable of crushing through stone and tree trunks with a single swing of the limb. [/ul] Speed: ★ ★ ★ ✰
[/b][/sup] -Despite his gigantic stature, Konungr is very swift and agile for a being of his size. He can run at an impressive 50 miles per hour, accelerator almost instantly, strike with the quickness of an assassin, and maneuver with the agility of one. Couple his impressive speed with his equally impressive strength and Konungr is a formidable Juggernaut one should never take for granted. [/ul] Stamina: ★ ★ ★ ✰
[/b][/sup] - Rocky skin harder than most surfaces make Konungr extra durable, but the fact his endurance is nothing to scoff at makes him even more resilient to damage. Alongside being capable of taking quite the thrashing, his stamina is virtually endless. May it be fighting, running, or enduring pain, he can do it all for hours on end; maybe even days.[/ul] Mana: ✰ ✰ ✰ ✰
[/b][/sup] - His mental prowess in the arcane arts is very lackluster. Goron are built and raised for confrontation and to be the strongest of all the land. Konungr is no exception to this countrywide known stereotype. However, Goron are magically adapt people and Konungr himself is currently in the process of strengthening his own mystic ways. [/ul] Intelligence: ★ ★ ★ ✰
[/b][/sup] - A very intelligent and keen ruler, Konungr is revered for his military prowess alongside his skill and extensive knoweldge of herbs and concoctions. He is very perceptive, seeing through most falsehood claims or illusions in very little time. He is wise well beyond his years and it shows by the way he approaches and handles most situations. [/ul]
