A LEGEND OF ZELDA ROLEPLAY
Welcome to ZRP! We are an non-canon RP site with an original tale taking place within the
lore of the Zelda Franchise. While the events of this site are entirely non-canon, we take advantage of the canons of other
games to explain its story fully. As such, we are located within the CANON TIMELINE. Do you like what you see? If so, feel free
to register and join our story! If you have any questions, you can join our discord, located in our important links!
3/14/20 The staff are working dilligintly on the next plot and introduction to ARC 3 of the site. Over the next couple weeks,
we will be transitioning the plot, organizing boards, and a new location will be added to the site! Please note that Termina will be removed from playable locations
during this process. Thank you for your patience!
The first rule of life Sekne learned is that all was not fair. Born to the Twili soon after the end of Zant’s rule, she was a member of a lower class than most, a poor family forced to resort to theft and crime to survive. She was the youngest of three children, and as the smallest, she fit easily into small holes and was quietest. Well, at least when she wasn’t talking. This put her in the role of stealth in the “family business”, stealing food or gold essential to their survival. She also got handy with a knife, and more than a few people were stuck with it.
Despite her distaste for those above her, she was always fascinated in the Twilight Princess, a woman of such regality and grace that she admired very much. She always dreamed of being in that higher class of Twili, working for Midna, though her siblings were always quick to remind her that it was just wishful thinking. Needless to say, she got along with them just as much as she had to, and nothing more. She believed if she could climb her way up the ladder, she could reach that goal, and go where she felt she truly belonged. The first rung before her was finding work for the royal class, and this was accomplished via working menial jobs for them, such as housekeeping, dishwashing, and preparing food. She still kept up her petty thievery, and what little money she had went to her family’s well-being. She had bigger aspirations in mind.
That plan was thrown into motion by the unlikely uprising of the followers of Zant. Though she found herself upset, she saw an opportunity to use this to her advantage, and as the regime settled in on the throne in Midna’s place, she made her presence known, offering her skills at thievery to their usage in exchange for food and shelter for her family. The deal was agreed to, with one more condition: she was to act as an assassin for them. She was given a special weapon, two balisong with the ability to turn into sickles, and was trained in the art of silent killing, often on traitors to the royals. She didn’t like it, but she was doing what had to be done to help her Princess. And, over the years, she acted as their ghost in the shadows, taking out targets from the smallest influence to the traitor royals, all to gain trust. And when she had it, and learned where Midna had gone, she stole what she needed to survive, and told her family to come with her. Except that they didn’t, and they called her a traitor. She was forced to run as her own siblings tried to end her life.
With that, she ran to the Light World, the one place she thought nobody would dare to follow.
