A LEGEND OF ZELDA ROLEPLAY
Welcome to ZRP! We are an non-canon RP site with an original tale taking place within the
lore of the Zelda Franchise. While the events of this site are entirely non-canon, we take advantage of the canons of other
games to explain its story fully. As such, we are located within the CANON TIMELINE. Do you like what you see? If so, feel free
to register and join our story! If you have any questions, you can join our discord, located in our important links!
11/12/21 GUESS WHO'S BACK! Thats right, and we are cooking up a good ol reset for everyone. Please be patient as things will be a little empty as we archive. Pop into discord if you have questions.
Okay, first I want to say thank you for your interest in the role, and also apologize for some miscommunication that seems to have happened. We had a former Goron Chieftan who had to stop writing some time ago who recently reached out to Navi about coming back. Unfortunately, Navi hadn't been around much lately and we didn't realize how quickly the Gorons would get popular again, and as such, it got missed in the hustle of the site. Because of this, Navi was intending the Goron Chieftan spot to be reserved for his return, and had not realized that you intended to apply to this role sooner. Again, we apologize for that misunderstanding.
Now as for your app, I also did want to go over a few things, just so you know for future reference some issues that might arise.
The big thing is that your Goron is listed as 11 in "Goron years" and for the purposes of this site we're using standard normal ages for everyone, so whatever age they would be considered in general is what needs to be there. I've not heard of Goron's using a different age system than any of the other races. And for the purposes of our server and lore, someone that young isn't feasible for the Goron Chieftain. As they're typically the elder of the Gorons and thus have the life experience necessary to lead. The position isn't inherently hereditary and is usually voted on so as to only have capable Chieftains leading them.
The next is your history. Which, while being an interesting and unique format is not much of a history. We get a few points about Faen's life but as far as actually being a description of who they are and what they've done in life it isn't much and will need to be reworked. As they're only eleven I know they haven't had much life experience but the point still stands.
Another big thing about your history is how closely tied they are to your other character Maedhra. While your characters don't have to be separate from each other, we like to encourage people to branch out from their own characters as interpersonal relationships and ask they try to intermingle in the site a bit more.
I think the next big thing is in your Inventory. You put a very significant piece of lore in there that wasn't discussed with any mods. A big "mega project" as it were would likely have been known and discussed by several members of nobility including Zelda. As such, without having discussed this prior with anyone we can't allow it. It feels as though you are trying to tie in this character to your other and somewhat increase their standing in a way, and we want to avoid giving one character a huge amount of power in the world without prior discussion.
Thank you, please feel free to reach out to me or the other mods if you have any questions.
Mission Goal: Searching for the vestiges of habitation along the Valley of Twins Sinnie is in search for artifacts of minor repute such as abandoned earthenware, tools, or signs of culture such as written words. He wants something he could sell or trade on his next trip to Castle Town.

[attr="class","Vplotterboxtxt"]The roaming witch, girl who wields fire. Circe lives the life of a nomad shunned by her people, because of this she is cold, heartless and cruel. Much of her hatred directed at the Zora, she finds that there are many of this realm she has a distinct distaste for, and those she doesn't. While beautiful, Circe is as likely to kill you as she is to greet you with false pleasantries. The right hand woman to Eleazar, current King of Hyrule, Circe is his Arch Mage and is currently hunting down the mythical Daughter of Nayru, a divine sea creature sacred to the Zora.

Not much would stop her from her duties as Tiaris's attendant and being the champion of her people. Ati is almost always ready for a fight, whether it be practice or the real deal, and she spends her free time training and soaring through the sky looking for adventures.

[attr="class","Vplotterboxtxt"]The Twilight Princess. Now fallen, Midna has been cast from her home realm and into the realm of light, her only option being to find her two closest friends and restore her throne by any means necessary. Despite the hardships of her life, Midna has always been fiery, confident, she is a powerful sorceress and does not hide this fact. She can be smart, and quick to anger when someone pushes all the wrong buttons, and her rather aloof and mischievous nature can get her into trouble. Currently, Midna is hunting down relics of power known as the Fused Shadows in an attempt to regain her full power to take back the Twilight Realm, she is assisted by an evergrowing rebellion hidden within the Gerudo Desert. Her closest confidant is her handmaiden, Sekne. And while their relationship is tumulteous, and filled with distrust and snarky comments, Midna has been relying on the Twili Assassin, Balthazar. (Damn you Twili-Anotonio Banderas)

[attr="class","Vplotterboxtxt"]Vaida is aloof, carefree and adventurous in her personal time. She is devoted to her duties of protecting Esme and fighting alongside the Heroes. She can be intense around new people, and very rarely will talk to someone she doesn't know. She knows many would see her as a less than competent fighter because of the partial blindness, Vaida is as aware as anyone with perfect sight, though she keeps to the shadows and dark more often than not.
[attr="class","Vplotterboxtxt"]Adelaide Clarice Galashiels is the current Duchess of Crescent Island, and Hand of the King in Labrynna. A woman of split descent and loyalties, Adelaide serves both her current kingdom and her ancestry as dutifully as possible. As such, she is a busy young woman and does not have much free time, which is what she most definitely needs. A bright human and trained fighter, Adelaide is a woman of many talents and joyful spirit. Currently, she is dealing with the fallout of a potential war with Hyrule and it's usurper Eleazar.
Okay, so I read through this app a couple of times and I really like the basis it has. This is a good start to a Kokiri character and I'm excited to see another one added into the fray. But I want to address two points, one of which is easier to fix than the other I think. But ultimately that's on your interpretation and I am more than willing to help when I can.
First issue: This one is simple, your magic spell is fine. But it needs a cooldown period. You specified its potential length of use but not how often you can use it. As it stands, it seems as though you can teleport, immediately throw another item and teleport again. Especially since Natho seems to carry multiple objects on him. So I am suggesting, since this is a beginning level spell it needs a cooldown time. And perhaps as well a slightly shorter duration. My suggestion, which is not the law you can argue your idea fairly, is say; used within 1-2 posts after the object is thrown, and another 2-3 posts before the ability can be used again.
Second issue: I think you've over thought our shard system. And perhaps we need to make it clearer, as we are in the middle of revamping the site and rules this could be a symptom of that. The shards are a currency for lack of a better word for magic. You've said in your history that it gave Natho his magic but the way shards work in this lore is that it'd give you an extra spell slot if you chose to spend it on such. Our rules allow all characters to have one magical ability within reason or the option of multiple weapons. Continuing off of that, the shard would not be a noticeable new feature. They're shards, small, too small to greatly affect a person in the way you have it written. Natho would not notice its existence. No one does, they are more of a meta-object to be won/earned in order to upgrade your character.
Other than that, I do like Natho and think it is a solid character app, just let me know if you want to discuss these changes or when you make them and I'll be more than happy to take another look and accept.
Hi Unexpected! I'm one of the mods, Ash! I'm glad you found us and I'm excited to have you join in on the fun. If you're looking for art, we don't make you do your own art by any means. Most of us use other art, so no worries. Also, if you look through our rules and character guidelines you'll see all the races have been humanized to make that easier. Another thing, please feel free to join our Discord through the link on the site. It's an amazingly easy way to communicate with others and it's how we share a lot of info. Lemme know if you need anything!
The stranger had announced he meant no harm as he approached her. In response, Vaida did not lift her blade up but she kept her grip on it firm, these times one could never be too careful. She had a duty to get back to soon, and there was very little that could stop her from returning to her princess' side. Death chiefly among them.
Something about the weight and timing of the stranger's steps gave Vaida the thought that he was familiar with Sheikah, he moved heavily and with caution as he approached her, looked her over and determined what kind of threat she could be. Had it not been for her own truth and the weapon in hand she doubted this man would've second guessed approaching her unarmed at all, but she was at a disadvantage should they fight. She rather he'd be on edge around her until promises of peace were made.
The man, Dorian Vincanton, agreed to the disarming. Vaida nodded and did as she said she would, laying Luna down on the ground above the water's edge. She stood again slowly, through the blindfold she didn't stop glancing at him. Satisfied that they both were keeping to their agreement, Vaida's stance relaxed. There was still a chance for the peace she longed for, even if it meant occupying it with a stranger.
Everything about his tone spoke of confidence, a type of swagger. He was a mercenary, which explained the armor and weaponry. In response to his informal bow, Vaida gives a swift and polite curtsey, something she was taught to show through years with the royal family. She could be polite. "Glad to see we can find a peaceful arrangement, Commander Vincanton." she replies, being a bit more formal than necessary. She had heard an official title, she supposes her time with royalty and military personnel had done that to her. Though she'd always been far less formal around Esme.
He moved closer to her, and even if Vaida hadn't been able to make out his moving form, she would've heard him. Far louder and heavier than Vaida herself when she moved. A man fit for direct battle and action, not a spy or hidden guard.
"What brings a mercenary captain to the shores of Lake Hylia? It seems a far too peaceful place to find mercenary work." she says, finally reverting to a far more relaxed stance. Her weight resting on one foot, hip tilted out slight to keep her balance, and her arms folded loosely across her chest. Behind her blindfold and fringe of hair covering part of her face it would be difficult to make out the lifted eyebrow and amused glint in hidden violet eyes, except for the small smirk that tugged at her lips.
