It had started as a simple visit to the City in the Sky, a show to raise relations between the Gerudo and the Rito. The performance was met with a positive reaction, many of the Rito joining in with the dancing, laughing and in high spirits. The bonfire that burned in the middle of the circle everyone sat in flickered and cast shadows over the Gerudo troupe, dancing to the beat of the music the Rito musicians provided. And, in the crowd, her hand holding a goblet of carved wood, was the matriarch, her gaze level, her eyes on the women. She was looking for something, and she found her eyes lingering most on one dancer in particular.
It was a surprise, then, for Farrah, that she was met with a messenger for the matriarch after the festivities had ended, the bonfire now smouldering. He told her that her presence, though not requested, would be appreciated to entertain the matriarch that night, as she had caught the eye of Tiaris. There was a down payment of gold if she were to accept.
In her hall, Tiaris sat at her throne, in idle chatter with the sparse members of her inner circle, but they all knew why they were really there. A front of professionalism, a plan to speak to the girl, one on one. What she wanted was unknown, but she had hoped the intruige of being requested specifically would catch the dancer's attention.

Farrah loved her job. She loved being a healer, even if it was tiresome at times. But being a healer could never possibly compare to being a dancer. Above all else, Farrah loved to dance. So when some of the Gerudo in the dancing troupe she frequented for practice asked her to go to some place in the sky to dance for the Rito, Farrah accepted. It didn't matter where you took her, she would go anywhere if you promised her she could dance for people. [break][break] The event itself went fantastically. Everything went off without a hitch and all the people seemed to be enjoying themselves. It was only after the event, when Farrah was breathless from dancing all night long, that she was surprised by a turn of events. The Rito Matriarch had requested her for private entertainment. [break][break] Now, Farrah wasn't an idiot. That surely screamed something sexual was in the making, and she wasn't entirely put off by the thought. She could be just jumping to conclusions here, but if that was where this was going, she wouldn't turn the woman down. For now though, it was just a dance that was requested of her. So, Farrah followed the messenger to where the woman was waiting, and when she finally stood before the woman, she questioned her. "You requested me, my Lady?" [break][break] Never before had she interacted with anyone of such high status, so she wasn't entirely sure on how to address her. 'My lady' should do well enough, right?
"My apologies if my invitation was unexpected and forward, but your performance tonight was a spectacle my people rarely get to behold. I do believe it is Farrah, is it not? My reason for calling you here is twofold."
All eyes were on the matriarch, trying to get a read on her as she sat upon her throne, chin resting on her hand. She was all eyes for the Gerudo dancer, and was grateful Ati wasn't there, because she would be heckled for sure by her little loose cannon. Not that she didn't enjoy it, but she had her eyes on the prize. The room was silent as she contemplated the situation, her council watching quietly, trying to puzzle out what was going on inside her head.
"My people reveled in your performance, a boost to our morale we've not seen in quite some time. Seeing them so pleased with your dancing moved me to bring you forth to ask a request: I am willing to pay you, and any entourage you see fit, to come upon request to the City in the Sky, to perform for events and ceremonies where we might need the feeling of... Fun we felt. But, for you specifically..."
She stood up, setting her glass down, and clicked her heel twice against the floor. Her entourage stood, sharing knowing glances, and bowed to the dancer before shuffling out. She intended for this to be a private conversation.
"You personally caught my eye. I know someone special when I see them, and it's that gut feeling I'm following to work on something greater. You're not just a mere dancer, are you? If my hunch is right, I'd ask if you would be interested in a more..."
A glance, scanning from Farrah's shoulders to her feet, and back up to meet eye contact with her.

Just as all of Tiaris' council's eyes were on here, Farrah kept her own eyes locked onto the woman as well. She had the sort of commanding presence that demanded that all eyes be on her. And it definitely helped that she was attractive enough to keep those eyes there. As Tiaris spoke on, Farrah thought a little bit to herself. Mainly that this woman spoke a lot, but she was a woman who frequented diplomatic talks, so surely that was to blame for such a long speech. [break][break] Her second thought though, was that damn this woman had a nice voice. Farrah wasn't one to think of such flowery speech, so she could only really think that it was a nice voice and that she wouldn't mind listening to it longer. So Farrah watched as the woman stood up and clicked her heels. She was a bit confused as to why, but as soon as her council started pouring out of the room, it was easily understood. She wanted the rest of the conversation to be private. [break][break] Tiaris continued on, saying that Farrah caught her eye, and that she was special. And really that was all she needed to say for Farrah to grow red in the face. Compliments weren't necessarily uncommon to her, but comments from people she thought were attractive did ten times the effect to her than regular ones. [break][break] She could read between the lines easily enough, and the full body scan the matriarch did wasn't missed by Farrah's trained eyes. She could only clear her throat and look to the side to gather her thoughts before looking back. "I'm... unsure of how special you may think me to be. I'm a dancer, but I'm also a healer aside from that?" It was a question on if that woman was looking for that kind of answer or not. "And what kind of... individual role are you talking about here?" She likely already understood what the woman was implying, but she still needed to ask.

"I expect quite the show.."
"I know what you expect me to ask of you, and I can assure you, those cards are still on the table. I do have my desires, but those of my people come first. And seeing how you caught the eye and captivated, I have a special task I would ask of you, should you find a mutual agreement beneficial."
There was the subtle sensation of a tension that wanted to be broken, but business was painted over Tiaris' face. She turned to the table next to her throne, from a drawer pulled a letter, sealed with wax. As she turned, she held it up for Farrah to see.
"Your set of skills are effective in drawing an eye where you want it, and distracting them from where you don't want them. In short, I am asking you to gather information for me, pertaining to the individuals described in this letter. All I seek is their whereabouts, and then we can discuss further employment from there. The price I am willing to personally pay is a bounty of gold, jewels, what you wish. But..."
She paused, walking up to the Gerudo, and held out the letter, with a smirk on her face.
"The greatest honor I could offer is my companionship, and I know a wandering eye when I see one. What say you?"

This woman was asking a lot of Farrah. Gather information about others? Sure it wasn't anything that Farrah couldn't do. She had spent most of her childhood taking part in thievery and... other unsavory actions, but Farrah had just met this Rito Matriarch. How did the woman know that Farrah wouldn't just sell this information to other people? They had hardly known each other for more than a couple of minutes. [break][break] But Farrah was a simple woman. She knew all of these things, and yet she didn't care about the pros and cons of the situation, or the fact that she had only met this woman just minutes ago. Besides the promise of a relationship with her, Farrah was always keen to earn more money. Perhaps it was her past as just another orphan on the street, but she never asked many questions and took a job when asked to. [break][break] "It's a very tempting offer..." Farrah took the letter from the woman. "If you truly need my assistance, I will help. Though I can't be constantly running around for you, Miss. I have my job back at home in the Gerudo Fortress as well." Hopefully Tiaris would be fine with such an arrangement. Farrah wasn't too keen on being tied down to one woman.
"I have no intention of clipping your wings, in fact, my proposal is much more open than you may think it is. Information gathering is best done away from home, and if I am not mistaken, you are well traveled. I think this could be a situation that benefits both of us."
Of course it was unorthodox to ask someone you had just met to do such a task. But Tiaris was an unorthodox individual, and she knew the risks ahead of time. She sighed, and took the letter back, putting the letter in a pocket, and crossed her arms.
"I'd not ask one to prioritize my needs over their own, or their people's, but I've a vested interest in furthering relations with the Gerudo. And you seemed charming, admittedly, so I figured an invite to my hall would be welcome. Perhaps I was mistaken? And if so, what can I do for you to east any anxieties you may have?"

"I think there's a mistake here," Farrah quickly raised her hands in a mock surrender. "I'm entirely willing to work with you, and I'm definitely interesting in furthering a relationship." Her arms were brought down then as she continued. "Though I do have one condition..." [break][break] One of Farrah's free hands came up to her mouth and her eyes darted to the side. "I have a... uh... well I'm currently hardcore pining over a man who has disappeared on me, but as soon as I find him again I want to make him mine." Her red eyes moved back over to the more imposing woman. "That won't be a problem, right?" [break][break] Hopefully Tiaris would be willing to allow such a thing, though if she didn't there would have to be an entirely different outcome to this situation. Farrah would not part with her love of Nex. She would drop everything to be with him. After all, she'd been pining over this dumbass for years. It's not something she would give up on easily.
