Farrah had promised Maude she'd man the stall with her. It wasn't every day that Farrah was even in town to stay with her mother, but this was one of those days. She was probably a little reckless when deciding to simple stow away in Nex's cart, but it was his fault for not noticing she was there in the first place. And his reaction when finding out she was in there? Priceless. She would pay any price to see such an expression again. And luck was in her favor too, becuase she got to see new sides to him as well. (She was only a little touched when Nex all but came back to the cart to seek her out when he was upset. Maude and some other woman had done a number on his poor heart.) [break][break] For now though, she wasn't with Nex. He was off trying to sell some products or do some other shady merchant things. Farrah was promised to Maude today, and she was going to milk every second of it. To start with, she got some to go coffee from the cafe in town, Hot Cucco. A cute place with tasty products. Maude had adored the drink that Farrah got the last time, so Farrah got both of them a Fairy Frappe. She wasn't too deep into coffee lore, so she didn't know what a frappe actually was, but she made sure it came with the most cream and sugar she could get in it. Just the way her and her mom liked it. [break][break] When Farrah finally did show up to the market stall that Maude had set up at, she was suprised to find a noblewoman there, just leaving with her gaggle of followers. Farrah made some confused noises with a raised eyebrow, but none the less continued to her mother. "I got the coffee!" She held out one of them for Maude to grab. "What was that all about though?" Farrah nodded her head to the side where the noble woman had walked off to.

"Yep. I left the farm. I didn't want to intrude on Maude and Jon more than I needed too. And I figured it was about time to get on my own two feet." She meant the words she said, but Farrah still frowned, upset with the idea. She didn't want to leave Maude, but there was also a part of her that felt bad, like she was overstaying her welcome. [break][break] "Yeah, I'm kind of here for good. Though I mean... I wouldn't be opposed to dropping everything to join you in your journeys." Farrah grinned at Nex as she said her last words, slowing to a stop. The building they stood in front of looked like any typical Gerudo residence. [break][break] Without waiting, Farrah unlocked the door and motioned him in. Inside the building, There was a seating area, acting as a living room, a small table with two chairs around it, and a kitchen. There were two more doors in the back to the side of the living area. It could be assumed that one was the restroom and the other a bedroom.

Farrah was happy that her little newbie was so willing to let her sleep. She was a little worried the kid would try and nag her about working, like everyone else did, but this kid was alright. She'd let Farrah nap. [break][break] This time though, Farrah wasn't going to completely fall asleep. Sure, she said she'd nap, but she could easily get some sleep in and watch the girl. She was good at being a light sleeper, even if she hadn't needed the skill in many years since leaving behind the life of a thief. Farrah would have her eyes close and she'd doze off, but she'd also listen and make sure that Ariadne wasn't doing anything stupid. [break][break] So far, everything seemed to be going well. Ariadne knew how to take care of the patient she was with, and wasn't complaining about what was surely a nasty smell coming from his foot. Ugh, Farrah hated dealing with feet. Thank goodness she was just watching over the girl today.

Farrah was way too excited about how soft Nex was being. Hand holding? Worrying about her feelings for him? Nex would have never done these things years ago, and Farrah was all to happy to accommodate for this change. The fact that he agreed to make sure to say goodbye to her was just the cherry on top to all of this. Farrah was lucky today, and hopefully she would be lucky for a while longer. [break][break] Every time Nex would squeeze her hand, Farrah would squeeze back lightly, as a way to try and reassure him. She didn't know what he needed reassurance for, but she would provide it none the less. "Hmm... What have I been doing?" Farrah hummed in response to his question. There was quite a bit of stuff that she had done since last seeing him. "Well, I learned to be a healer from someone, and I moved here. I also got a job at the hospital they have hear. I've really been doing that since." Farrah shrugged her shoulders and glanced at Nex. "It's pretty boring though. I have a lot more fun if you or Maude are around, so I'm really glad that you're here now!" [break][break] And she really, really was. Farrah hadn't been this excited about something since she had last gone to visit Maude. It had been years since she last saw Nex, and she wouldn't let him go now that he was once again in her sights. This time, she'd make sure to stick by his side.

This woman was asking a lot of Farrah. Gather information about others? Sure it wasn't anything that Farrah couldn't do. She had spent most of her childhood taking part in thievery and... other unsavory actions, but Farrah had just met this Rito Matriarch. How did the woman know that Farrah wouldn't just sell this information to other people? They had hardly known each other for more than a couple of minutes. [break][break] But Farrah was a simple woman. She knew all of these things, and yet she didn't care about the pros and cons of the situation, or the fact that she had only met this woman just minutes ago. Besides the promise of a relationship with her, Farrah was always keen to earn more money. Perhaps it was her past as just another orphan on the street, but she never asked many questions and took a job when asked to. [break][break] "It's a very tempting offer..." Farrah took the letter from the woman. "If you truly need my assistance, I will help. Though I can't be constantly running around for you, Miss. I have my job back at home in the Gerudo Fortress as well." Hopefully Tiaris would be fine with such an arrangement. Farrah wasn't too keen on being tied down to one woman.

...Was this kid a fucking dumbass? Farrah's face gave away her blatant doubt, but she wasn't necisarily trying to hide it either. Really, that was the only lie this kid could come up with? Farrah didn't care one way or another where this kid came from, but... raised by wild lemurs? "I really don't care where you come from, hun, but you're going to have to learn to lie better than that at least, if you want to keep it a secret so bad. And my name is Farrah, though I don't really care what you call me." [break][break] Farrah turned around and motioned the girl to follow, not giving her much time to respond. Like she said, Farrah didn't care where she came from. "I'll show you around the place and where to find things, stuff like that, and then we'll get to actually working on people." As their little tour went on, Farrah explained a couple of things to Ariadne. [break][break] "You won't be able to do serious things, starting off. At least until you prove yourself to us. Or really, me I guess. I'll give a report on your work every day, but just make sure you don't do anything too stupid. If you promise not to, you'll get by easily enough..." The rest of her explanations were just simple 'don't store this here' or 'always return things back from where you got them'. Stuff like that was easy. [break][break] Finally, they made their way to the room where all the patients were. "Now it's time to finally get to work." Farrah pulled up a chair and sat in it. The room they were in was fairly sized and had about 5 beds on the left and the right, and at the head of the room, where they were, was the door and a desk and a large back table with cabinets above it where all of the medicine, herbs, and tools were stored. "Like I said earlier, I'll just be watching over you and providing help when needed, and if its anything more than a flu or a simple stitching job, I'll take over." She raised her hand in a shoo motion, then closed her eyes and crossed her arms. "Wake me if any of the other healers come by too... Minae likes to pull the chair out from under me when I nap..."

It was very obvious to Farrah that something was weighing down on Nex, even after she reassured him that she didn't hate him. What that something was though, she had no idea, and she didn't have any plans of prying into it either. For Nex, it always seemed the smartest to just let him come to her, even if that didn't actually work half the time. She didn't want to upset him. Tease him? Make him uncomfortable? Always. But genuinely making him upset didn't sit right with her. [break][break] "... Just a proper farewell?" He seemed a bit doubtful of her words. How rude- And now he was leaving her line of sight too! Nex pushed past Farrah, and though she initially thought he was going to just walk ahead of her, she was surprised to find him standing next to her instead. The brush of his fingertips against hers was also a shock. A big shock really. [break][break] Never in her life would Farrah had thought she'd see the day. Nex initiating physical contact? Never. At least, thats what she had thought. Now though, now his fingers were brushing against hers, definately asking to hold hands. But that was so like him, wasn't it? Not using his words to ask to hold hands but instead just hint at her. Because he was so stupid and shy to just take her hand himself. [break][break] Farrah had never grabbed a man's hand faster than she did today. She was a little too excited, and her heart was beating a little (a lot) too fast to be called normal, but she grabbed that hand. Farrah's smile might have been blinding but she hid it away with a hand, trying to hide just how giddy this simple action was making her feel. "Uhh..." What did she need to say again? Something about him saying goodbye, right? "Yeah, just say goodbye to me and I'll be happy. Because that means that you cared enough about me to not worry me by running off without a word, okay?"

It was fairly easy to find Farrah's newbie. Everyone else in the building, Farrah knew as another healer, or as a patient. So when a short haired cutie walked into to the room looking around, as if searching for something, while standing around awkwardly, she figured she found just the one she had been looking for. [break][break] Farrah pushed herself off the chair she had stolen from somewhere, and made her way over to the girl. (With zero intentions of returning the chair to its rightful place either.) "I'm going to assume you're Ariadne, right?" She thought of leaving it there, but quickly realized how embarrassing it would be if she was wrong, so she added on, "Unless you're not. If so, sorry for bothering you." [break][break] She did have to wonder though, what this kid was wearing. It definitely didn't look like any typical Gerudo fashion she'd seen around. Not that she hadn't seen a tunic and pants before, but more like, Farrah was under the impression this was a Gerudo, so why is she wearing such stifling clothing? [break][break] Farrah's outfit was very common in the fortress, an elaborate, pink top, which only went as low as below the breast, and an above the knee skirt. All with golden embellishments. All something you could find at any clothing vendor. So, obviously this kid wasn't from the Gerudo Fortress.

Farrah watched as Nex put all of his weird merchant shit back together and picked it up. It took way too long for her attention span, but she just couldn't tear her eyes off of him. Really, this dumbass had left her worried about him for so long. She spent an endless amount of nights wondering if he was still safe. "Family troubles"? What does that even mean? Was his family out to get him or something? Oh my gosh what if they were trying to kill him- [break][break] "Your place...? You...you're not still living with--?" [break][break] Farrah was confused by his question for a moment, before realizing he was probably refering to Maude. "Oh, Maude? No, she's wouldn't live in the desert even if I asked nicely." The redhead laughed a bit at the thought of how unamused her mother had been when she talked about moving to the Gerudo Desert. Though Farrah could talk about her mother all day, she would save Nex the anxiety and simply leave it at that. Maude made Nex nervous, but it was entirely logical on his part. She was a vicious woman. [break][break] "You don't think --?" She doesn't think a lot of the time actually. "Farrah you don't -- hate me do you?" What? "I left unexpectedly." What the fuck was he talking about now? [break][break] With an eyebrow raised, Farrah looked at Nex. "Why would you think I hate you? Have I made it seem like that?" Surely she didn't act like she hated him, did she? "I could never hate you! You made upset and I was worried about you a lot, but I don't hate you. I mean-" She shrugged her shoulders nonchalantly, like it was no big deal. "I was also a little angry, but if you had to go you had to go. Next time just make sure you say a proper goodbye, okay?" Farrah grinned widely now and leaned in a bit closer to him. "Or I could always go with you! Travelling together would be fun!"

Farrah had been working at the Gerudo hospital for more than a year now. Honestly it was probably more, but she stopped counting after the first year, so the only way to know was if someone else told her. All that she knew was that she was experienced enough to apparently train a newbie. That's how she ended up today. [break][break] The boss of the hospital made sure to pull Farrah aside right as she came in that day, because if he had told her any other time than the day of, she would have forgotten. He told her to wait for a girl named Ariadne, and that she would be watching over the girl and her work, to help her out when she needed it and to make sure that everything when smoothly for the girl's first day. [break][break] Truly, Boss was smart. Farrah was good at her job, really she was, but she had the tragic problem of falling asleep on the job whenever things got slow. She'd been chastised about it often, but somehow was able to keep the job despite that being so. Having a newbie to train would make sure that she's doing her job, and if she isn't, the newbie could wake her up too. Overall, it was a win win situation. [break][break] So now, Farrah was standing, waiting for Ariadne.

Mission Goal: Ariadne is new to her job at the Gerudo Hospital, and Farrah, as someone who has been working there for longer, is told to help her out for the day. Let's see what these useless gay healers can do!

No matter how many times Nex tried to deny that he was cute, Farrah just wouldn't accept it. She picked her hill and she would die on it before ever admitting otherwise. It really seemed to get to him though, her calling him cute. Maybe she should stop? But she was only telling the truth as she saw it. [break][break] Hm... No she wouldn't stop, because Nex stuttering over compliments was just too good. Unless he outright told her to stop of course. Then maybe she would. Maybe. [break][break] Farrah was a little disappointed when he said he wouldn't let her have any of his stuff, not because she wanted it, but because she wouldn't be able to go through with her payment. But she was pleasantly surprised when he instead pulled something out and handed it to her with a mumble she could just barely understand. [break][break] He was waiting to give it to her. Waiting to give it to her. Farrah nearly died on the spot. Her face grew red from the sheer adorableness of the situation, and how he seemed so reluctant in giving it to her, but he thought of her. She wasn't just some Gerudo he barely remembers. And he said he wasn't cute. [break][break] With one hand clenched to her chest, Farrah received the bracelet. She only moved the hand away to put it on her wrist immediately. Oh, but Nex asked for them to go somewhere cooler, right. She was still dying over the fact that he gave her a gift. "O-oh... Yeah. Yeah, we can go back to my place maybe? I mean-" She was a little less confident now, staring at the ground. "Only if you want to of course."

Just as all of Tiaris' council's eyes were on here, Farrah kept her own eyes locked onto the woman as well. She had the sort of commanding presence that demanded that all eyes be on her. And it definitely helped that she was attractive enough to keep those eyes there. As Tiaris spoke on, Farrah thought a little bit to herself. Mainly that this woman spoke a lot, but she was a woman who frequented diplomatic talks, so surely that was to blame for such a long speech. [break][break] Her second thought though, was that damn this woman had a nice voice. Farrah wasn't one to think of such flowery speech, so she could only really think that it was a nice voice and that she wouldn't mind listening to it longer. So Farrah watched as the woman stood up and clicked her heels. She was a bit confused as to why, but as soon as her council started pouring out of the room, it was easily understood. She wanted the rest of the conversation to be private. [break][break] Tiaris continued on, saying that Farrah caught her eye, and that she was special. And really that was all she needed to say for Farrah to grow red in the face. Compliments weren't necessarily uncommon to her, but comments from people she thought were attractive did ten times the effect to her than regular ones. [break][break] She could read between the lines easily enough, and the full body scan the matriarch did wasn't missed by Farrah's trained eyes. She could only clear her throat and look to the side to gather her thoughts before looking back. "I'm... unsure of how special you may think me to be. I'm a dancer, but I'm also a healer aside from that?" It was a question on if that woman was looking for that kind of answer or not. "And what kind of... individual role are you talking about here?" She likely already understood what the woman was implying, but she still needed to ask.

Farrah loved her job. She loved being a healer, even if it was tiresome at times. But being a healer could never possibly compare to being a dancer. Above all else, Farrah loved to dance. So when some of the Gerudo in the dancing troupe she frequented for practice asked her to go to some place in the sky to dance for the Rito, Farrah accepted. It didn't matter where you took her, she would go anywhere if you promised her she could dance for people. [break][break] The event itself went fantastically. Everything went off without a hitch and all the people seemed to be enjoying themselves. It was only after the event, when Farrah was breathless from dancing all night long, that she was surprised by a turn of events. The Rito Matriarch had requested her for private entertainment. [break][break] Now, Farrah wasn't an idiot. That surely screamed something sexual was in the making, and she wasn't entirely put off by the thought. She could be just jumping to conclusions here, but if that was where this was going, she wouldn't turn the woman down. For now though, it was just a dance that was requested of her. So, Farrah followed the messenger to where the woman was waiting, and when she finally stood before the woman, she questioned her. "You requested me, my Lady?" [break][break] Never before had she interacted with anyone of such high status, so she wasn't entirely sure on how to address her. 'My lady' should do well enough, right?

Ah yes. Perfect. Farrah had gotten just the response she was fishing for. Nex's face was flushed. His immediate response after realizing it was her was to back up and puff his chest out in some attempt at being calm. The stuttering in his speech didn't lend well to that image though. Nex really was one of her favorite people. Lashing out when she did something to embarrass him. [break][break] "Cute..." Farrah's grin was still wide as she observed her precious fish trying to get himself together. She was a little angry still, because he really had just up and left her in his dust, leaving nothing but a hastily scrawled note behind. It wasn't even much of an explanation either! Two short sentences, barely anything to reassure her. But right now, Farrah had more important things to do, she could get mad at him for that a little later. [break][break] As he whined to her, Farrah couldn't help but laugh to herself. "You just looked so adorable and unsuspecting. I couldn't just leave you in peace, now could I?" She could have easily done so, actually, but that wouldn't have been any fun, and she wouldn't have gotten to see such a blessed sight. "Are you sure you won't accept my payment though? Even if I wear something cute and pink as the cherry on top?" Farrah was a little displeased with herself for not having anything pink on her person today, but tomorrow she would make sure that she was prepared.
