"Hyrule.... so I've finally made it, so sparse", Sky stood atop a small amalgamation of rocks as she shielded her eyes from the sun light, the sweeping brezz fluttering against her hair and cloak as she observed the vase planes that made the center of the Kingdom of Hyrule, well former Kingdom. It had taken many days to finally reach the heart of the once affluent and hope inspiring kingdom, Sky facing many trails along the way, from growing up to her most recent physical obstacles to over come, regardless of what people though about her person or arts it was a choice she had made long ago.
She was here now and one step closer to her goal, nothing was going to get in her way, be it man or beast, and after such a long journey a small break was in order before the final stretch to castle town. Though not one for large crowds or heavily populated areas, spending a night alone in the wild did not seem like a bright choice, besides, a little shopping for supplies clothing and maybe the odd confectionery treat too. Sitting own in a cross legged position the young woman brought undid her cloak, laying it out as a makeshift mat, placing her collapsed Scythe to the side and presenting a small bag of goodies, "Lunch, nap, then castle town".

Hono the new member of the heroes of Hyrule stepped out of the forest in which she spent all life. Taking her first steps outside of the woods filled her with excitement, like millions of chains snapping, finally free. The Kokiri spend a few hours just exploring the wide-open field of Hyrule. Obviously getting distracted from her mission More interested in the different birds and bugs swarming the field. As she wondered for hours and hours looking at everything that moved.
Coming across a formation of rocks, quickly running over.Quickly noticing a figure? As she snuck around a bit she noticed a female. Though a cloak made it rather hard to tell for sure. Soon Hono took a deep breath, she didn't think the girl was hostile, however, she had a battle ax across her back. "Hello?" The girl called out rather eager to figure out who this youngster was leaving her hiding place,
Skys sense became alert as the sound of footsteps came from behind, was it a wild animal? it was not uncommon for wolfos or other beasts to prey upon lone travelers. Sky reached for her scythe, ready to cut down what ever beast had decided to try and make her its next meal, but stopped abruptly when the sound of a girls voice rang out, it was quizzical, but also with a hint of cheer too.
Looking to her side Sky's gaze fell onto a... young girl? that was rather odd, did you Hylians just wander around the field, wait no, this girl was different. Looking closer she noted her brown hair, and though with a child like attitude did not seem to be that of a youngster, they were caution, but not frightened. 'could she be a Kokiri, they appear as children but are much older, but I hear they never leave the forest, or do they'?
What ever was the case Sky realized she should probably reply to the girl before things became awkward, "Um.... hello there... who might you be"? Just a simple question, it would be better to try and determine who the girl was before jumping to conclusions.
The Kokiri rubbed her neck and let out a yawn, she was rather tired as she walked around closer to the girl. The bushes moved and rustled a little, a few small animals moved around heading home for the night. Before settling in their "homes". Hono couldn't tell what race the girl was right away, She assumed either a Human or Hylian. Hono could notice the girl was not hostile so that was good. Hono relaxed a little, she wanted to make her first interaction outside of the forest a good one. The hero pulled her hands above her head to stretch out a little bit
"I"ll ask you the same." The Kokiri calmly asks the women. She didn't want to tell her everything about her self. "I'm Hono, that's all you need to know," The hero spoke to the girl in a rather calm tone not wanting to intimidate her. "Are you human?" Hono was debating as to if she should introduce her self as a Kokiri, As for now, she would dodge any questions about it. "Are you camping...? Where are you heading?" Hono studied Sky, Her long black hair was rather pretty.
Sky could not help but give the girl a really looks as she casually yawned before stepping closer, it seemed that sh either was very care free, or perhaps if she was a Kokiri probably had some sort of relationship with animal, or just simply knew there was no danger around. Being new to this land Sky had yet to grasp what areas where safe and which were not. As the girl asked her question with answer Sky though about how best to answer it without giving to much away, this talk was as much negotiation as it was idle chit chat.
"Well hello there hono", 'odd name, but one cannot judge' she though to herself, but then again the young woman had not really gotten to know a whole lot of people in her life "my name is Sky, for now that is all you need to now, and yes I am a human, not Hylian". Her voice was a bit quip, sounding slightly sarcastic as well, putting a bit more emotion into the 'you need to know part', partially as attempted humor, also part knowing how this game was played. "As for why I am camping here, not really, just a short stop and lunch, where am I headed but? Hmmm, maybe Castle Town, set up for the nigh, but might I ask why you are here, do Hylian children often just play by themselves in the wild"?
Sky had a sneaking suspicion that the girl was in fact a Kokiri, not child that age would be so careful in answering, but she was going to push her buttons a bit to get more information before saying anything more.
Hono made her self at home, she took a seat on a log near the women. She put her feet up on the stump of the tree, quickly looking at the rings of the stump it was rather young. Hono was much much older, the tree stood for about 20 years before recently falling due to a recent storm. Hono didn't care for nature as much as the other Kokiri. As such her feet remained on top the stump.
"Sky, What a simple name, though you are a human which are pretty simple." The girl bluntly said as she looked at Sky. As she heard about Hylian Children. "I'm not a child!" She huffed and crossed her arm. "I'm... Just really short of a Hylian is all..." The forest dweller was no good at lying, not one bit. Sky could probably see right through her lie. Hono looked up at the clouds. "Why are you going to Castle Town?"
Sky kept a close eye on the girl as she sat down on the log close by, different from her own just neatly sitting on the ground, maybe she just didn't want to get her dress messy, but what ever the case may be she still had to discern what race Hono was. She was a bit put off by the girls sassy comment, but did not show any outward appearance, '.... simple hmmm, this girl is quite the cheeky one, hopefully she does not get on my nerves not sure how killing a child will go down on me... okay that was a morbid thought'.
She brought a hand to her mouth, trying to hide a small grin at the 'child' reaction to her comment, exactly what she had wanted her to say, "Yes you are not a child, your manner of speaking is that of someone with age under their belt, but at the same time, your voice is not that of someone who has gone through puberty, and the only race that comes to mind from such information is the Kokiri, the ever young forest children... your not very good at keeping secrets are you"? Then again the Kokiri where secluded, perhaps it was just a mere lack of practice thing.
"So what do you want to do in castle town?" The forest dweller asked moving some wild hair back into place behind her ear. "It's just odd to see a girl like you alone like this... Do you have anyone with you?" The hero asks feeling her ax slip off her back, quickly reaching behind and pushing it back into place, it didn't fit her body well as it slipped off often Hono was in a very good mood, she wasn't in her normal angry mood, however, that wouldn't stop her from being her normal curious self , but she had a weird feeling about the stranger, so she stayed cautious.
As the girl slowly realized she was not a human, Hono was a little nervous. "Yeah yeah... I'm a Kokiri so what!?" she asks the new girl her tone a bit more aggressive than before, She wasn't surprised, the girl was never good at telling lies. She rubbed her neck a bit embarrassed. "Guess I won't hide it anymore..." She crossed her arms and stood up getting off the stump.
"Hmmm, what will I do. probably load up on supplies, visit the temple of time, if it still stands that is, I have heard unsettling rumors about the new order that has taken over Hyrule castle", She let out a snort sight as Hono last question, yes it was odd, but Sky did not really have a choice in the matter. "As for being alone, no, I do not have any one to travel with, my parent dying while I was very young during the fighting, this journey of mine if just as much of enlightenment as it is getting away from the orphanage I grew up in". He, even though being mature and probably much older then herself, it seem Kokiri still kept their child like curiosity, probably a side affect of never aging.
Hono following reaction to being called out on her lie and race was amusing, earning a sly but genuinely happy smile from Sky, it was not often you met someone detached form the world who mind was yet to be sullied by real life. "Nothing, it just means that we are both new to this land, unless this is not your first time away from the forest your kind has been sheltered in, but if not, I could use a guide of sorts around here". Ture she could have purchased a map, but the person she had run into selling them seem... very odd, as well as cheap, and she rather trust another person with direction then relying on a piece of paper.
"A journey?" The girl asks rather quickly, a journey sounded amazing, however, the girl was committed to the Heroes Of Hyrule. "I'm sorry about your parents!" She said feeling awkward for getting personal. The girl stood up and took her ax off her back, she laid it on a rock to her left, it made her relaxed, nevertheless, she kept it in her eyesight at all times, it was very important without it she was almost defenseless. The Kokiri returned to the makeshift seat. Sitting on the stump quickly, it wasn't the most comfortable thing but she used to it due to living in the forest.
Hono was all flustered, her cheeks a pink hue. "I just left the forest, to be honest..." She laughed awkwardly placing a hand on her neck rubbing it softly. "I would like to see castle town... Perhaps we could travel together!" The Kokiri suggest. She pulled her small legs in closer to the stump, she slouched quite a bit. Having a companion to escort her to castle town would be nice.
"Ah.. well yes a journey of learning, you can gain only so much knowledge from staying in one place", the way hono had randomly spurted out the response made Sky sweat a little, she sure seemed to change moods very quickly. "It is okay, you could not have know, also almost everyone has lost loved ones in the prior wars and violence, its is nothing new", Sky had learned the hard way about loss and morning, it was okay to be sad but the past was the past, and pinning over regrets and what could have beens got you nowhere.
"Just left the forest, for the first time? and your first interaction with and outsider is me... must be an honor, but just a word of advice, not many people are like me", in more ways then one, if not clothing and personality, mind set as well as politeness. "You wish to go to castle town? Um well I guess we can travel together for a bit, but I am not sure our paths will continue on the same route, but then again I myself d not have a set purpose, more wander lust then anything else". Perhaps Hono had some unspoken goal of her own, why else would she have left the forest, though whatever it may be Sky would not pry, everyone was entitled to their own secrets and prospects, "But anyways, it would be nice to travel with you... how about we head off now? I think I have had enough rest for the moment"
With a nod, Hono listened to the girl's opinion on her loss. " I wish I could agree, I haven't had much loss in my life!" A tiny hand rubbed against her neck then creeping back to her side resting. "Thank you for being nice I guess?" Hono said giving her a compliment a little confused as to if she should of or not. Hono jumped off the stump. "Alright! I'll keep you safe with my ax!" The girl quickly pulled yanked her ax out, it was rather heavy, however, the Kokiri held it with relative ease. "So. Let's be off!" She gave off an exciting aura, castle town was someplace she wanted to go for all of her life. Hono was very quick to run towards their destination, the ax dragging across the dirt leaving a trail.
