Two Weeks. It had been merely two weeks since the Heroes had successfully freed Link from his imprisonment. In the eyes of some, it was over in an instance, --however to some, it felt like an eternity. Zelda still slept in her chambers, causing worry to spread from person to person as the thought of her waking up grew smaller and smaller. They could not wait any longer, and with the absence of his sister, Prince Artemis got to work. Letters, many letters. Each entrusted into the hands of their fastest riders, or whatever men they could spare; It was a summons, to the offered palace in Labrynna.
Every sovereign faithful to the succession of Zelda, now gathered under the expansive and decorated foyer. At the head of the large table would be King Perseus, and around him are those he holds with high regards. At this time, it is simply the wait for everyone to be accounted for, though some have already taken a seat available.

[attr="class","jartoxpost"] He could barely breathe. [break][break] Whether it be because of the fact that the wrappings upon his abdomen were a bit too binding, or because this meeting was actually happening... but without Zelda. While the young King had full trust in Artemis's ability to speak for the faction for his sister, her absence brought upon a somber ambiance to those who arrived. Many were not even aware fully of what exactly happened - only that she had managed to save the Legendary Hero, but now she had fallen into comatose. [break][break] No doctors or priests could figure out just what was wrong with her though; her sleep was simply holding her in a standstill - as though powerful magic was binding her to her rest, as though her mind and body relied on this interrupted sleep for survival. . . [break][break] Just what did Queen Zelda do to save her hero? [break][break] There was no time think about that though. As many council members waited for others to arrive, chatter rung in the atrium of mossy marble walls. Hands cusped just beneath his chin to allow his weight to rest, he kept to himself and withdrew from the conversations around him until the others were to arrive. Artemis to be seated to his left, Asthar to his right. Along the table would then be littered with leaders of each of the races, or city representatives--even the sheikah council! Those who all still held faith to the True Crown of Hyrule.

Frantic, weathered, and impatient, many began to question what could possibly be done in order to save Hyrule at this point? A goddess released into the world surely meant a repeat of the events that took place four years prior - our hero was surely not ready then, and is nowhere damn near ready now.
Artemis spent most days at his sister's side, making sure that she had 'round the clock supervision. At first, he refused to do anything in her interests, feeling he was not worthy enough to make those decisions for her, but with the sense of duty overcoming him for the sake of their kingdom, he surely could not miss out on this conference.
He was one of few to show up from the Heroes themselves; they wanted to keep a low profile if possible while treading into another territory, and Artemis had traveled back with Perseus after his recovery from the battle at the castle.
Seated beside the King, he looked onto the others who began to slowly appear into the room, taking note of just how many kingdoms - not just of Hyrule - held faith in Zelda's hands.
Once the room began to fill, he had looked to the King to allow for their conversation to begin, and he took a deep breath, looking among the others with stern eyes.
"I believe we all know why we have gathered here... the question is where we go now that this covenant has been established. In my sister's absence, I act in her stead, and I intend to tread these waters as carefully as possible before putting our people at risk so foolishly as we did before."
Paired with her granddaughter, the two Zoran royals arrived on the scene after receiving a letter of assembly and she swiftly gave attention to the matter as she informed her granddaughter of their journey to Labrynna.
This would prove to be an interesting observation as well; the meeting was not only called by the King himself, but as well the Zoran Prince of Labrynna. While Thetis had intended to learn more about the prince since he seemed to be a suitable king for Cetus, she wanted to wait until Hyrule was out of its... rut.
Seated along the sides of the table, she looked over the prince carefully before her attention was suddenly drawn to the Hylian Prince who began to speak.
Most peculiar about Gael was that he was given the title of Zoran Prince, and yet he lacked the gills to back up the requirements. She didn't quite understand the politics of Labrynna, but it was obvious to her that he was not a Zora - at least, not fully. "How peculiar," she noted to Cetus under her breath. "The beast is not even of his own kind."
Taking note of Artemis's words, she nodded quickly at his desire to not risk the lives of his people. "Yes, I would very much hope that is your goal, but I am beginning to question if your sister is even suitable to make decisions? The woman is crazy - letting loose a psychotic goddess more powerful than the last - all to save - whomever that boy is - no hero to our people. Heroes are only given titles they earn."
Folding her hands together at the table, she lifted her chin high before closing her eyes and beginning again. "We truly are in a predicament now, aren't we? Your sister may never awaken, and then what is to be done? Will you take over her cause? My dear, you have been stripped of your dignity and authority, publicly shamed, and confined to the ruins of a lost city. What’s left to work with?"
We’re gonna melt down Gonna disappear into the sun into the sun Gonna burn down together like fire We can’t get enough no no no We’re tied like
Cetus was a mere shadow of the regal aura her grandmother displayed, as they entered the chambers together, seeing royalty of Hyrule, Holodrum, and Labrynna alike already gathered. She let out a slow breath before sitting down, legs tucking to the right, and folded her hands in her lap. Her eyes flicked from each other attending member, noting who as who, but her concentration was broke by Thetis speaking to her, bring her focus to Gael. Her eyes narrowed as she scrutinized him, confused. He certainly wasn't of their people, but regardless, he still held the title that was his right. She replied, under her breath.
"Tact, grandmother. We do not know the whole story."
Her focus was taken again by Artemis speaking, inviting discussion of what had happened, and she had opened her mouth to respond, but was stopped by her kin speaking, as queen-regent of the Zora Domain. She stayed her tongue as she listened to her grandmother's harsh words, and frowned. The Zora had historically had a strong relationship with the family of Hyrule, one of prosperous trade and diplomacy, and yet here her grandmother was, doubting them. As dearly as she loved her grandmother, she couldn't hold her tongue, and when the older Zora was finished speaking, stood and faced Artemis herself.
"You hold no claim to throne or power right now, this is true. A prince of a hypothetical throne, forced to live in exile. But I wish to remind all attending here that the line of Hyrule was subject to a rebellion led by a Zora of Labrynnan blood, and a tyrant at that. He is no true king, and hardly deserving of the prestigious title of Zora, if at all. You have no throne, Artemis Hyrule, but I am obligated to remember that none of this was by choice. Grandmother, if the same had been done to us, we would be no different than they are."
She paused to let her words take emphasis, and realized she was digging her nails into her hands. With a sigh, she calmed herself, and continued.
"What your sister has done is, indeed, an act that has endangered all of Hyrule, but we cannot assume she was not led astray. As such, bickering about thrones and titles and prestige will get us nowhere. We, as a country, must and will rally together to fight this Goddess that has been unleashed upon our people. If it would help the family of Hyrule at all, I would offer healers of our people to assist your sister. I already have our strongest soldiers and mages ready to accept commands, but they are to guard Zora Domain first and foremost.
As for the subject of the hero returning, I... I'm afraid I must agree with my grandmother on this one. The boy may have been the chosen of the Master Sword before, but the goddesses saw fit that he be stripped of that power. However, the fact that they did not have him killed speaks volumes of their intention. He was left alive, and this was not without purpose. Let him do what he will, but do not focus on helping him. If he is a hero, then he shall earn that title before the eyes of Holodrum, Labrynna, and Hyrule alike. But whether he does or not is of no consequence to us. We have but one thing that will make us as strong as we once were, and it's not a sword, the grace of the goddesses, or a hero. It's unity."
Another pause, before she sat back down, back straight as she held her head high. She had to be steadfast, but she knew her decision could be taken as rash.
"I take the throne of the Zora Domain in mere months, but the people support me. As such, I speak for all Zora of the Domain when I say that I will back your family in the upcoming conflicts."
To his left sat his good friend Perceus and right across from him was Artemis. To say the room was rather tense and somber was a bit of an understatement and being in this room was kind of a bummer. To put it lightly everything had fallen to shit and it truly was going to be quite the challenge to get out of that shit. How the Heroes of Hyrule went about their next step and what Labrynna did in regards to this was something critical and because of that it was key that they all had this meeting.
This truly was a meeting for those who held belief in the succession of Zelda, but in that case why was Asthar among all these monarchs and nobles? Could they really say that everyone in this room was in agreement on Zelda’s reign? It was not his place to say but regardless he was invited to this meeting and it was a chance to state his own insight as well as witness the insight of the other rulers and leaders as well.
Though the seriousness of the matter Asthar was smiling his usual calm and collected smile and sat calmly with crossed legs and his cheek resting upon his knuckle with eyes closed. “Unity…is that so…” Asthar let out softly letting out a small chuckle. “Ah, quite a difficult thing…” Asthar said before opening his eyes and glance over at those who gathered around the table. “Perhaps all of us here may come to an agreement and perhaps we may come with a plan, but can we truly say we have the people’s backing on all this?” Asthar said before closing his eyes calmly. “How will the people choose to react finding out that this malicious and divine threat was brought forth by the mere desire to save a fallen hero? In their eyes he was a meritless hero that was presented as a savior and perhaps even a form of hope, but in the end to them he ended up nothing more than a failure that failed his task and was stripped away of every divine grace he received” Asthar said bluntly. “If anything it may have them running off to the tyrant’s side…” Asthar said.
“A goddess that can freeze the time of the world and a tyrant that has a charisma and cunning that can woo the hearts of the people, quite the mess indeed…” Asthar said smirking. “it’s only a matter of time until Eleazar unleashes that power he received from the goddess, though the question is what exactly is that power he possesses…and what purpose do Majora and Eleazar have for each other…” Asthar mused. “As the pretty princess and her lovely grandmother have stated. Focusing and placing faith in a former hero that cannot even save himself is something ill advised. Perhaps he truly may save the world and end this conflict but it is his struggle that he must complete on his own. As such rushing in blind will get everyone killed so what is needed is merely intel…” Asthar said nonchalantly. Perhaps he wasn’t quite the most helpful, but even then despite being in this meeting his neutrality stood somewhat.
